As if they needed anymore good reviews. I just absolutely love it there. When I first walked in there was 4 ladies that all said good morning and helped us immediately. They took their time looking through my dogs records and verifying all …

I am blessed to have Dr Prather and the staff now taking care of my furbabies Coco and Colby. She discusses every thing you have questions/ concerns about and you never feel rushed. I have a renewed appreciation that my furbabies are in good hands. Thank you for taking us on, we love you Winter Garden Animal Hospital .

Miss this place! Just moved to the Atlanta area and having a very hard time finding a quality Vet. Prices and services are excellent at this vet. The staff actually listened and provided services that were asked for. Thanks for the years of service. Wahly misses you!

Excellent vet clinic. A little expensive in my opinion but all in all it's worth it. Professional and know what they're doing. They currently take care of all 4 of our dogs.

It’s taken me this long time to put words down about how disappointed and upset we are about WGAH. We chose this hospital because we believed they were there for the pet and not just to make a quick buck. How wrong was I to think this would be any different. On August 27, 2021, our fur baby had gone in for a teeth cleaning after 12 years of having no issues with them. This is because the Vet said that he had a few teeth that may need to be removed. He came home that same day with a “clean bill of health” and no teeth were removed and in fact we were told they only needed to be cleaned. Hooray! We were so happy to hear no teeth removed. He passed away in our arms on the 29th at 3:30 am from aspirating on his vomit. We contacted the WGAH letting them know that he passed away. They contacted us that Monday to say they never had this happen at their location and that they were truly sorry. They think he may have had a reaction to the anesthesia but doubted it and could not think of any other reason of why he would have passed away. The vet said that during the procedure they tested his blood for any allergies to the anesthesia and tested his heart for any issues and everything was fine. We found out later that the vet that performed the procedure was a traveling vet and not our fur baby’s vet. This vet was also the husband of our pet’s vet. We never even met him. We assumed the person who addressed us at the hospital on the 27th was the vet performing this cleaning. We asked them to send us the paperwork on this procedure. This paperwork was received via email after weeks of calls. It was handwritten in illegible handwriting. It said he had a level 2 heart condition, which we have no idea what that even means. We should have been told immediately. The fact is there were too many discrepancies in person, on phone and by email on their part. We truly believe had there been certain policies in place things could have gone differently. When a situation happens like this in a vet hospital one of the first things that they could have done is tell us how they would make things better for any pets in the future. We would have told them that they should make sure the pet parents meet with the actual vet who is performing any procedure. That they explain how things would work, what type of recovery is expected, and what to look out for in the event something happens. Oh, and don’t schedule a procedure on a Friday when you know you would be closed on the weekend. After doing some research we never knew that there were several types of anesthesia that your pet could be given and if it is not tailored correctly to fit your pet you could lose your pet. We will never recommend Winter Garden Animal Hospital to anyone who has a pet. Stop worrying about collecting the money and spend a little more time on the care of your pet patients.

Great Staff and Doctors I am very disappointed with Winter garden animal hospital we have been bringing our pets to to this clinic for over 20 years. I just rescued a German shepherd I have a new prescription from her previous vet and a negative heartworm test and requested To purchase hartworm medication. She has some issues and Starts training next week.I do not think she is ready for a new Vet experience just yet. I thought I had a good enough relationship that this would not be a problem I was told they must see the new dog, And would not honor the prescription from the other veterinary. I must pay for a new patient visit I guess it's all about the money. I remember when I first started going there they knew your pets by name.

Very bad service and impolite staff Reply to the owner: Thanks for noticing this comment. I wish you or your colleague would be nice the first time I called. I called to schedule an appointment a month ago for my kitten and whoever answered the phone was very rude, impatient, and kept interrupting me. I said I'd like to schedule a vaccine and deworm my cat. The lady who picked up the phone kept saying, "Sorry, I don't understand what you said" without offering any help. I tried to explain to her as much as I can but what I got was pure silence or the repeat of "Sorry, I don't understand what you said". So, of course you can't find my name in your system because there is no way I will go with that unfair treatment.

We took our cat there when he didn't seem to be breathing well, they were able to diagnose asthma related to flea allergies, give him a steroid shot and recommend a more effective flea medication. They were very kind and I never felt like they were trying to get us to spend more money than we needed to, which is always a concern of mine. He has and back to acting like normal since then and no more coughing spells.

My family has two cats, both with special medical needs and considerations as well as a 120ish lb dog with high anxiety. Going to the vet has ALWAYS been a huge source of stress for us and our animals. However since we started bringing our animals here we've received nothing but positivity, great advise and huge amounts of consideration for our animals. Two surgeries, multiple last minute emergency visits, at least 6-7 visits for check ups between all our animals and we are ALWAYS surprised at how much effort and care we get for such a reasonable price. Our dog has NEVER been good with strangers, and get scared easily however each tech that handles him does so with the calm confidence that he needs. They respect him and his boundaries and know what they are doing. I cannot say enough how much they mean to us as a family, and how helpful they have been in some difficult times. I will recommend no other vet clinic.
