STAY AWAY! I've never heard joyous laughter for 5 plus minutes in a vet emergency room. These people are callous, inhumane and should be shut down. They were telling jokes and hysterically laughing throughout my time last week when my pet was sick. WARNING: DO NOT take your animal to this place. Very unprofessional and cruel.

This is for the grossly overweight very unfriendly blonde behind the counter who greeted me with discontent She looked at me as if I had 3 heads while I was simply wanting to ask her a simple question about pain relief for our injured dog Needless to say we did not stay as they did not have time for us for the 4 or 5 hour wait for an X-ray I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone

I had the worst experience ever at this supposedly called “emergency hospital”. I took my dog with a broken leg, crying in pain and they took forever to check me in just to say that I’ll have to wait 4 hours so the Vet could check him. The hospital was empty the customer service was horrible. It’s supposed to be an emergency room they saw my dog laying on the floor, barely walking with his leg swollen not even sent home with PAIN MEDICATION.The ladies at front were giving the worst service not caring or anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL!!!

The customer service of this place is very bad, the girls at the front desk are super unpleasant and unprofessional with customers, they did not want to attend to my dog and said that there was a 4-hour wait when there was no one in emergency. I recommend anyone to come to this place.

Horrible experience my dogs staples broke and I called they said come in and then refused to see her saying they were to busy. DVM would never even come out themselves made the front desk relay the information

My cat had a surgical consultation with Dr. Veytsman 12/22/2021 for a wound on his paw. I received an email summary of the consultation including a detailed physical exam, which was not done. My cat was not weighed, no vital signs taken, no auscultation of heart or lungs, no gait or mobility evaluation and the wound was not measured despite these things being documented. I was in attendance the entire time and he was never taken out of the pet carrier, only his foot was pulled out of the carrier to view the wound. It is UNETHICAL to FALSIFY medical records. I have lost trust with this practitioner and do not recommend.

While visiting from out of town we needed a vet for our dog. Dr. Tam and all of the staff at Palm Beach Vetinary Specialists were so kind and helpful. Dr. Tam was patient and gave our dog time to get used to him before examining her. This visit was the most pleasant veterinary visit we have ever had. The office is new and clean and everyone we met there was so friendly. Cannot recommend them enough!

I'm not sure if I did this already but eight months ago, my Mollie became violently I'll. Thinking she had bloat (which she did but that's not what killed her,) it was one am at this point. She was crying in pain. The paperwork took outrageously long time to fill out. Two days after, we get an update call on her and she's doing well. Less than 24 hours later, we get the phone call that Molly's blood had become poisoned with Sepsis. Why would you lie and say a dog is all better then turn around and say she was dying? I highly DO NOT recommend this hospital in the case of a dire emergency such as Molly's. If the emergency surgeon had gotten there sooner. Mayne she'd still be here.

They are uncaring, unsympathetic. Their main goal is making money, nothing else. They charge you 90% of the bill in advance just incase your pet would not make it out alive so they have that covered. They sell you over priced medications that do not work. They did not care to give you advise on how to keep your pet’s final moments as comfortable as possible. The surgeon would not answer anymore questions as soon as she was not making any sale. They talked about euthanasia of your pet as though it was as easy as ABC. Find another hospital and do your research right now so you know where to take your pet when the time comes. My advice: run like hell away from this place. I really don’t want to give them any star at all.

Had a literal emergency and called them to let them know we were down the street and they denied us and said they aren’t taking anyone else ,I asked if they can at least just check her out real quickly and we were told no . Very disappointed

I LOVE my regular vet- but my 16y/o dog was in pain and I knew it was her time so I decided to bring her here at 3am instead of waiting on my regular vet so she didn’t have to suffer. The vet who helped us allow her to cross over was THE MOST kind and compassionate person we could have dealt with. Everyone’s kindness and professionalism made a very very difficult situation far more easy to bear. Today, I received a sympathy card from their office as well and it really touched me. THANK YOU VCA. Your compassion and kindness mean so much to people that are dealing with very tough decisions.

Dr. Amburgy at PBVS is responsible for the death of my wonderful dog Charlie. When picked up from being boarded by a professional Rover.com, who we had used before, My wife who is an RN and I thought he may have had a seizure or poisoned, or bitten by a venomous animal. We tried to communicate this to her but she did not listen to us. She was convinced he had a herniated disk. She gave him a huge dose of anti biotics, which my wife disagreed with saying that this will make it worse. She assured us that she was right and sent us home with our sick dog, who died a few hours later. I made so many mistakes with Charlie, like going on the cruise in the first place, choosing the Rover sitter who did not watch Charlie properly, and then going to PBVet Specialists, thinking they were the best in the area. And ultimately believing Dr. Amburgy in her catastrophic misdiagnosis of our Beloved Charlie. She didn't even send condolenses after I notified her of Charlie's death. I will never work with PBVS again. And I grieve every day about Charlie's death. We had him for 6 years, and he never was sick. I was prepared to spend several thousand dollars to save Charlie, when we brought him in to PBVS, then she treated him for something that hastened his death. She is very arrogant and not a good listener. If you bring your pet to PBVS and she is on duty please walk away and go to another Animal Hospital.

Do not take your pets here. I’ve been taking my pup for the past month to Dr.Sartor and her treatment is not focused on her care, it’s focused on squeezing money out of me. My dog is not better, they lost her respiratory samples, wouldn’t accept X-rays from her primary forcing me to pay for new ones and just keep pumping her with antibiotics which are clearly not working. Dr.Sartor is not empathetic to the situation and because her vacation is next week, I don’t have any advice on what to do and now my dog might die. I don’t understand how any vet with good intentions wouldn’t have the curiosity to seek to understand the illness or fight to find a solution. There are other places with better care, please beware.

We unfortunately had to go in for an Emergency visit for our family dog. He was not able to be saved but Dr. Grey and the staff made the experience as peaceful as possible given the circumstances. I will forever be grateful to the staff at VCA

We had to take our 12 year old German Shepherd to them at 4am for a medical emergency. The staff and Veterinarian on duty were exceptional. I can’t thank them enough.

My dog seemed shaky and was not walking straight. I went in and they had me start paperwork just to later tell me they were not receiving any more emergencies for the day but they did take the person in front of me. Very unprofessional and can care less if your pet is dying in front of them. Will never be back and would never recommend. Horrible service and inhumane people.
