I can only speak to my own experience, but the care my dog received here while going through a life-endangering emergency was completely beyond anything I could have hoped for. I went to three vets (my usual, an emergency facility, and south dixie), and Dr. Cunningham was able to perform nothing short of a surgical miracle. There's no accounting for this level of skill and tenacity. I wish I could give her and Alyssa all the money I gave to the other two practices. I'm eternally grateful.

I’ve had it with South Dixie Animal Hospital. There have been too many negative incidents, I feel I must post a warning comment. First, when bringing my small dog in for a routine checkup and vaccines, during Covid when I could not bring him into the office, he was abruptly taken out of my arms from my car, frightening both him and me. Second, during a teeth cleaning, apparently while under anesthesia, they trimmed every single one of his nails below the quick to the point of bleeding. He was in pain and limping for days. Third, when requesting airline transport paperwork approval a month later, the vet not only charged me $45, but also noted he was potentially dangerous based on his fearful response to them while pulling him from my car. (My dog has flown countless times without incident and is the sweetest most well behaved dog, people comment constantly on his gentle demeanor). Fourth, after the teeth cleaning, they sent him home with a sample of a special tarter control dog food. Upon completion of the sample, I returned to purchase a bag of the same food, they sold me a different type. This office is unprofessional, impersonal, and potentially dangerous. I will never return and I would not recommend Dr Cunningham if you care for your pet.

Great place to take your pets. Clean and professional. The reason not 4 or 5 stars is overpriced and constantly pushing for up sales. Over $ 300 for annual exam and shots. Quoted over $ 500 for teeth cleaning. Really? Need to look for other vet services. Hate to leave but cant afford anymore.

Dr. Cunningham and South Dixie Animal Hospital are the only place we trust to take care of our babies. We were blessed to find Dr. Cunningham over a decade ago after adopting a dog and being given her location for our free check up. We never thought that would start the incredible journey that we have been on since. My wife and I are prone to taking in dogs that are “medically needy“ and the only reason we feel comfortable doing so is because we know we have the skill and knowledge of Dr. Cunningham and SDAH to take care of them. A few years ago the company I worked for moved from Boynton Beach to the Orlando area and my biggest concern was being so far away from Dr. Cunningham. While we decided to make the move, my fears came true not long after we settled in when one of my dogs needed surgery locally. We took her to a beautiful place close to us but she passed away the following morning. I still believe that if I could have gotten her to Dr. Cunningham things would have gone differently. Since that day we have driven three hours each way for every sniffle. It’s not just Dr Cunningham either, the staff at SDAH is second to absolutely none. Most of the staff have been with Dr. Cunningham since the start of her career. They have been there through the good times and bad times with us, they don’t even mind all the silly questions over and over again from an overprotective dog dad. People say it’s who you know not what you know but I believe that it’s both. Dr. Cunningham is constantly investing in continuing education and because of that as well as her collegiate success, she has trained next to the top specialists in all fields. You don’t realize how important that is until you find a cancerous lump right next to your babies eye and you need a soft tissue surgeon to very precisely remove it, thankfully Dr. Cunningham had the number of one of the best in the business and we were in the next week. This is more than just a review, this is a testament to somebody that has devoted their life to being the greatest at something very important. If you are anywhere in the area, or even three hours away, I would highly, highly recommend South Dixie Animal Hospital, Dr. Cunningham and the entire incredible staff that will bend over backwards to make sure you and your babies are treated with love, care and respect!

I have been taking my dogs to South Dixie animal Hospital for years and have always been very impressed, their prices are a little expensive . The girl Shayla at the front desk however is absolutely amazing and she deserves five stars.

We took our beloved dog there and were strongly advised to get his teeth cleaned. We brought him in a week later. Healthy, happy and the love of our life. He never came home. “Something happened” to a perfectly healthy, 6 year old love. The word devastation doesn’t come close to the pain we still feel. Think very hard before you have your dogs’ teeth cleaned here...you may never see them again and have your heart broken...like us.

Unconscionable negligence that will now be costing me multiple $1,000s of dollars to fix. They were supposed to chip a pet of mine for international travel and said they had found she already had one implanted. Then after all the travel was confirmed, apartments set up, thousands of dollars spent they say she doesn’t have a microchip anymore when it was time to do the certification. A literal impossibility, a total scam, and then had the nerve to still charge for “services rendered”. Lawsuit incoming

We met Dr. Cunningham years ago when she cared for our older Jack Russell during a life-threatening health crisis and, after recovery, succeeded in giving him 3 more quality years of life. For that, I will forever be grateful to her! What I loved about her then, and still do, is her personal investment, attachment to, and love for each of our dogs. Dr. Cunningham cares for my dogs as if they are her own. Of course, I appreciate that she is always current on the latest research and treatments for various conditions - she thoroughly explains different options, what she recommends and why, and together we develop a treatment plan. She is caring, knowledgeable, and patient. I rarely have the confidence to make recommendations or take time to write reviews, but Dr. Cunningham is exceptional!

Great experience here, Dr. Cunningham's love for animals really comes through, she has taken great care of the dog from his days as a puppy, and when there was an emergency with one of the cats, they got us in right away and helped solve the problem. Highly recommend!

Management seems to have changed. Lost all records of my dog's visits of the past three years. Recent appointment with DVM Vicky Liberman was a rip off, beware of "the package". I'm not sure what was worse, her incompetence or her greed. They just seem to be in it for the $$. Won't be back. Update: manager did call to get me to "change my review." I won't A bit more of the specifics. I brought my pup in for a Bordetella shot so she could be boarded for a night. After being shamed for the "bad health" of my pup that needed: 1) A Full physical -- Mandatory (records sent from primary vet) 2) Teeth cleaning (after having them done three months ago at her primary vet, records sent). 3) Heart murmur, not sure what the remedy would be (again records sent). My pup is 11! And doing very well. Vet had no idea (records sent three years in a row!!!) I won't even get into the cost. Beware!

Great place ! I have been taking all my dogs and cats here for over 20 years. Service is great, caring and professional. A word to the wise:Pet insurance is worth every dollar. That way you are able to get the best care no matter what. Ask the vet and staff here for pet insurance recommendations!

The people here are always nice and calm, even when I'm a bit of a nutcase with my cat. My pumpkin got an abscess on her rear and they quickly helped me get help for her. Within only a few days she was back to being playful and happy. Pumpkin is usually a bit mean around new people but she never minds coming here too much.

Dr Lieberman is the worst. Almost killed my cat. Unnecessary billing.

This was our first time at this animal hospital. Very impressed. Everyone was very positive and happy. You can tell they really care about animals and my boxer dog Tiny ate up all the attention they gave him❤❤❤❤❤❤

After 11 years of companionship my dog and I have been through a lot. His illness was breaking my heart. Dr. Victoria Liberman is a compassionate and knowledgeable professional. She was very patient with my dog and explained everything thoroughly to me. More importantly after changing his treatment my dog is doing a lot better. I recommend Dr. Liberman to anyone who wants the best for their pet.
