I recently went in to check the place out for my dogs for boarding. All I saw was big dogs they were taken care of and it was very nice but when I asked to see the small dog area they said they couldn’t do that right now. Really? So I asked where they put the small dogs they said basically like it is what I see now.So finally I was able to see the tiny town area when she open the door the stench was terrible. I heard two little dogs barking in cages didn’t see them though didn’t walk in there I wasn’t able to and I wouldn’t want to because it stunk so bad.. not sure what’s going on with that but I definitely would not leave my small dog there.Big dogs yes.

This is the four time I used Pet Paradise Wesley Chapel, I must say I was really happy with previous stays. My dog stayed between 12-28 to 01-02 it was the worst experience my dog and us had .. I called everyday and the answer was she’s fine she’s happy, when I saw my dog I knew immediately something was wrong she looked soooo sick, she lost weight, she smell pee ..she was so bad that her paws were yellow.. two days before I took her to the groomer she came back with huge knots behind both ears and all over her body(cost me $180 in groomer and she need another session) .. she was so lost when she came back home .. I’ve never seen my dog that way.. I don’t know what happened with her I just can assume that nobody took car of her at all.. my dog is not fix reason why she can’t be with all the dogs she has to have a solo play time .. I don’t think that happened at all ..those knots behind the ears that only can say she had a collar on her neck..this made me so angry and sad that I can’t even express myself. You lost a client I never put my dog through this again .. see the picture the day I left her and after I picked her up.. NEVER AGAIN .. just in case my dog name is Bella.

My puppy boarded at Pet Paradise Wesley Chapel for 10 nights during the holidays. It was his first time away for so long and we were super nervous. We requested reports throughout his stay which showed he was being taken care of very well (with a lot of pictures and details). I picked him up yesterday and he is felling very good, heathy and happy! Thank you for the team who took care of Bailey, we really appreciate you and wish you a happy new year!

if you love your pet, avoid this place at all costs !! It is the worst place for pet sitting !!! It is the third time that my dog comes back dehydrated, sick, smelling of urine, very poorly cared for, with a fearful attitude !! do yourself and your pet a favor !! stay away from this place !!!

We left our dog for a Doggie Day Camp on a Sunday. Place is really clean and it got amenities for the doggies including a pool. They got plenty of personnel to take care of your pets. At the end of the day our dog was happy, so I believe he enjoy his day!

My dog absolutely loves it. She comes home thoroughly exhausted from playing. They take great care of her, too.

This is the ONLY place I will board my dog. She is afraid of her own shadow but she ADORES the workers at Pet Paradise in Wesley Chapel. I was very nervous about boarding her initially, but after meeting the staff and seeing the facility my mind was at ease. Cannot recommend enough!

3 strikes you’re out. The last 3 times we’ve boarded our doggies here they’ve come home sick. Every time the report cards are generic. The “experienced” employees seem to have disappeared. The care is no longer there. As I now I no longer recommend this facility.

When we boarded our dogs here, we were told that dogs are let out in groups by size. Our dachsund is 20 lbs but was attacked by another dog. She was picked up and shaken. So clearly, she was let out with larger dogs. We were notified at 7:15 am that she was injured and needed emergency care. We were notified again at 7:30 am that she had been taken to an Emergency Vet. After 2 hours I began calling their facility only to find out they do not answer their calls not do they return voice-mail messages in a timely manner. After numerous attempts to reach someone and 5 hours later, I began calling all the emergency vet places near the Wesley chapel PP location. I finally found her only to find out that she needed surgery and a drain put in. TEN HOURS after she was injured I was contacted by Jill, the manager of the Wesley Chapel location. This incident happened SIX days ago and no one from this location has reached out to ask how our girl is doing. (After multiple subsequent attempts to reach PP with no answer at their facility, I located the CEO of Pet Paradise corporation and he had the VP of Operations call me. This is the only other contact I have had with PP.) Please do your due diligence before placing your pet in their care!

I have never boarded here due to the fact that I have called multiple times on different occasions to inquire about the boarding services and everytime I sit on hold to talk to someone for over 10 minutes or someone answers and hangs up. Very frustrating. Yes I understand I can make a reservation online, however when you have questions about the set up and if you can tour the facility of where your pet will be kept, you tend to call to speak with someone.

My pup had an incredible stay here! The very attentive staff kept us in the loop the entire weekend, describing every detail of his day. We loved hearing about pool time, amazed that the staff knew who he was right away when we mentioned his name. Webcam was such a great asset, I obsessed watching him enjoy Tiny Town with the rest of the other dogs! I won't hesitate to bring him back!!! Thanks Pet Paradise, wouldn't be able to enjoy our weekend away without the comfort and great experience we had having Shadow stay with you!

At first I was very apprehensive about leaving my cat for the first time ever, but the associates over the phone seemed very caring and insured my pet would be in great care. Fast forward to day 2, I receive a phone call stating that they are having troubles with my cat due to his behavior and they were asking me for any tips I may have. Quite frankly, I was very shocked. I have an extremely friendly and social 10 month old kitten that loves people and loves attention. If his behavior was anything other that that, it was strictly because he was scared and confused. I told them some of his favorite things and we agreed to chat the next day. Mind you, I was 8 hours away on vacation. I received a call the very next day stating his behavior had not improved and if anything was worse and that he would need to be picked up right away. The woman stated that they were unable to care for him properly due to being unable to get near his cage without him hissing, growling, or jumping at their associates. Again, completely shocked as this is 100% not my cat. He was terrified and clearly no one took any time with him to gain his trust. Luckily, I had a neighbor that was willing to pick him up and care for him for the remainder of my trip. While I fully understood the need to pick him up for the above stated reasons, the experience only got worse. Once my neighbor got to the facility to pick him up, the staff was rude and snippy towards her. They informed her that they would not be going anywhere near his cage and she would have to remove him. They informed her that she would be liable if he harmed any of their staff and if she was unable to get him, animal control would have to get involved. If they told her once, they told her 10 times that he was banned from every single facility they have. She stated any time someone spoke his name, they all shuttered and cringed. It was clearly a terrible experience for all involved, but he is still my pet and loved so much by my family. So to hear the way they spoke of him, was extremely infuriating and hurtful. I watched on the video as the staff high fived once he left the facility. How extremely unprofessional and not how a business who claims to care for animals should be run. Once home, he was completely back to his old self, snuggling and purring and begging for attention. Clearly, something was missing there. Here are some pics of my “highly aggressive cat” who almost warranted a call to animal control.

Beware of boarding here!!! **UPDATE** My youngest dog has been diagnosed with kennel cough** We boarded our dogs for three nights in an indoor/ outdoor space to allow them more room to share. We watched the cameras diligently while we were gone (like checking every hour diligently). We never once saw our dogs out playing and we very VERY rarely saw the doors to the outdoor part of the kennel open. Needless to say...I was worried. When we returned, I asked the person at the desk if the weather had been rainy because I never saw my dogs. She confirmed that the weather was fine. Once I got my dogs in the car there was an overwhelming smell of urine. ALL of my dogs and their leashes REEKED of urine, confirming my suspicions that they were stuck in a kennel for many hours per day. I have had to wash the dogs multiple times, and have my car detailed to try and get rid of the smell in there just from the ride home. I am so upset. I called and of course the local place didn't answer after multiple attempts. I emailed the feed back line and have not heard back yet (it has been 6 days) and am now on hold with their 877 number (it has been a ten minute hold so far). DO NOT send your dog to board here if you care about them.

I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the response I received by Pet Paradise when I called to inquire about a meet and greet (the free day pass). I was told that these are only available Monday thru Thursdays with no exceptions. When I told them that I work Mon-Friday every week they told me they would not accommodate a weekend meet and greet because they are too busy. Not a good first impression at all. No flexibility or understanding. Apparently they don’t care about bringing in new business.

Sat on hold for over an hour with their automated system and no one ever picked up!! I could see on their live cameras and a ton of the employees were just standing around. PICK UP THE F*ING PHONE!!

This was my first time boarding at pet paradise being that I’m new in the area. My pup is still young and has some separation anxiety so I was worried to drop him off , Rachel and a few other employees helped me a lot with some vaccine confusion and were so patient and kind the entire time! I asked a ton of questions and they didn’t hesitate to explain, after watching the cameras a lot it looked like my dog had never had a better time before and I look forward to bringing him back here again for regular day care ! So so thrilled with the service here and appreciate them checking in to double check that his food was correct etc. They made sure to confirm dates and all information with me a couple times and I can’t say enough good things ????

Groomer did exactly what I asked him not to. Wanted my Maltese scissor cut and he told me that would take a lot longer. I explained I did NOT want a razor guard used as it would be too short. He used razor and cut it way too short in body because he didn’t want to take the extra time to hand cut him which I told him I’d gladly pay extra for. He was rude and condescending. If you are not willing to groom the way customer requests say so from the get go and discuss it up front with them, not after customer pays because they don’t bring you pet until after paying.

Always enjoy taking our dog here, she has a great time playing with other dogs and interacting with others. It’s a drive for us but it’s definitely worth it, they take great care of the dogs and you can tell they really enjoy animals which is a comforting feeling. We’ve gotten her groomed there and bathed and they always do such a great job making sure she is looking her best before coming home. The availability of the cameras are great so you can watch the fun they’re having is always a plus!
