Below 1. Horrible service! I did not even get to see the Vet who supposedly examined my cat, nor do I know the Vet's name. I was told to wait outside and only received verbal report via telephone, the front desk person said they do not provide any paper or a report from the actual exam. Maybe because I got the "free exam" coupon via the PBC Animal Shelter for the adopted cat, honestly do not understand why a Veterinary clinic is not willing to provide an exam report, which is by the way in their system. Very disappointed.

At first it was a nice place dr. abbott is nice but the staff is horrible, they are as rude as they can be. If you call them you’ll get the front desk lady and she automatically picks up the phone with an attitude like you’re bothering her and could really care less about you or your pet and that’s concerning to me because now with the new rules of not being able to go inside. If the staff is that rude to me to my face how do they treat my dog behind closed doors? The one tech couldn’t even trim my dogs nails she said she was too difficult when I file my dogs nails i just needed them trimmed up so I could keep them maintained again. Also when you ask questions the tech also looks at you like your wasting there time and tells you that everything you need to know will be on the paper that’s going to be printed. It makes me very sad because I feel forced to leave because of the unprofessional staff and the rudeness and attitude you can just feel through the phone. It’s a shame because dr abbott is a nice lady and is very thorough but sadly I will be taking my pet somewhere else that really cares and treats my pet and me with respect and just simple manners.

I thought she was the greatest Vet before this visit. She previously did some good for my animals. My impression now is that she may be administering inappropriate or unnecessary, costly, money making drugs to treat the more minor ailments, like this cat's apparent cold and " little bit of congestion" She told me that she was giving my Senior cat something "like a cat aspirin", which turned out to be Metacam, used for "treatment of pain and inflammation from surgery", heavy duty. Who said the cat had pain?? And can cause diarrhea or loose stools, given to this cat who has a known history of problems with diarrhea. And after research I questioned the antibiotic she administered, which I could not find stated online to commonly be used for cat colds or lung issues. (She said she prescribed them for inflammation). There were others more specifically prescribed for cat colds. The cat received fluids (by an assistant)and was sent out with wet fur, and lying on a wet towel in the carrier, and blood dripped on my floor when I got her home. "It leaks" they said. Exam, and all this, in and out in about 20 minutes while I waited outside. My cat had been improving before I took her in there, but now is worse, not doing well, hiding all day, withdrawn, appearing confused at times, still has some shortness of breathe and sneezing, and no interest in anything 2 days after this visit. I will have to take her to another Vet since I have lost my trust in Dr. Abbott. 5 days later cat has just started to be more alert and related, get up from her spot, walking more steady, but still a little congestion heard at times. Although w/o any substanciation, it appears to me that too much medication was the cause of my Senior cats symptoms and decline. Hopefully she will continue to improve.

I can’t say enough about the staff, especially Lynn, was so helpful and understanding with the passing of my Rocky, she called another vet ..Dr Lieberman from sunshine vetinarian clinic in Jupiter to help and was fantastic , because Dr Abbott was not in until Monday, I highly recommend both places,Dr. Abbott also was amazing with my Chanel and Sammy, which she operated on and both are doing great thanks to Dr Abbott.

Dr Abbott is like a friend, she's very personable and always has our dogs/cats best interest in mind. She recognizes funds aren't unlimited and helps with cost and treatment decisions. She takes Pet Assure insurance, too. We drive from the Acreage to see her and she's worth every mile.

Dr. Abbott and her staff are knowledgeable and experienced. They effectively diagnosed my puppy and implemented treatments that saved my puppy. The care my puppy needed required immediate attention after hours; and we were accommodated. Best of all our puppy is well and healthy. I highly recommend Dr Laura and her staff. Thanks a million! Everyone with whom I interacted at Dr. Abbot's office was kind, caring and highly professional. Dr. Abbot followed up personally to ensure that my little Rascal was well following his vaccines. I highly recommend this fine organization!

Worst service I ever had, no information about the dog that I was expecting to get. I needed more information about his behaviour and health barely had any information.. just pushing their brands, not reading puppies history, rushing to get more visitors without giving a proper look or care. Gave unnecessary treatments.. just really bad experience, disappointed.
