Horrible experience, I have been coming here with all my pets the past 20 years, and not sure what is happening, but the office staff seems very overwhelmed and poorly trained. I was advised by my pet's pharmacist that she needed a heartworm test in order to get a new script, as typical I scheduled and had completed and asked the clinic to please contact the pharmacist and they confirmed they called. The next day I called pharmacy and no script, the pharmacy contacted the vet to approve the script, no response. The third day once again I had to call pharmacist who still did not hear from the Vet to approve the script, after being on hold with the vet multiple times with Courtney and Kirsten they exclaim they never received anything from the pharmacy even though I had the confirmed order sent to them, and also after they promised me two days ago, they would contact the pharmacist and TOLD ME TO CALL THE PHARMACIST!! All of a sudden, they look at their fax machine as I asked them to, and there is the order. Nothing is more frustrating than dealing with wasted time and efforts, so very stressful. #lookingfornewvet

We have been taking our dogs here for years. Every time we are greeted with the most amazing customer service from the front desk and vet techs and every single DVM that works at VMC is exceptional. If we need to bring our dogs in and their pDVM is not available I know no matter who they see they will be cared for. You are all so great and I’m so lucky that my dogs have been in your hands for the last 7 years!

Not a rip-off, they don't up sell you to death like Blue Pearl. Super sweet staff.

I took my 3yo puppy here the Sunday before Memorial Day with a broken paw and the service was amazing. They don’t let you in so you must call but everything is done in a timely and professional manner. The nurses/techs were very sweet and helpful and the prices here aren’t bad compared to other clinics. My puppy will need surgery that they couldn’t preform but they did everything they possibly could to keep him comfortable until I can get him there. Highly recommend this clinic!!

Despite the covid demands their staff was always on hand to help with my pets.

The staff are so friendly here, and you can tell they genuinely care about your pets. The doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Highly recommend!

Outstanding medical care and staff support over the many years we've used Vet Med Clinic.

My family has been customers/patients of VMC for 18+ years. I can't believe it took an unpleasant encounter with STEVEN at the front desk on 3/30/21 to finally trigger me to write a long overdue 5-Star review for VMC. Our primary DR through the years has been DR Gray. She has gone beyond the call of duty on multiple occasions and deserves more recognition than I could ever provide. We are equally appreciative of the other DRs on staff and would place our trust in any of them. Through the years, there have been numerous techs and office personnel who have stood out as being the very best. Years ago, I did have a bad experience with two techs at the same time due to their treatment of my near deaf and blind dog, but I addressed my concern and feel that I was heard and validated and action was taken. We have been to VMC After Hours/Urgent Care on several occasions and have had equally good service. At our recent 3/30 visit, however, we had an extremely negative experience with STEVEN. He was not only rude but didn’t even seem to care. The DR on staff, DR Gladnick, and tech, CJ, both get 5-Stars for the visit. Steven on the other hand gets 0-Stars in every category I can think of (phone skills, attentiveness, attitude, compassion, etc.). Based upon my two conversations with him, it is my opinion, he should not have any interface with a customer. I do not know if he has contact with the actual patients or not, but that would cause me concern. I paused during my second conversation with Steven and brought his rudeness and attitude to his attention, but he made no attempt to remedy, change course, or apologize. His perspective seemed to be like "what's your problem"? The real kicker in this situation is that we were the only customer in the parking lot the entire 40+ minutes of our time at VMC. I can't imagine Steven if he had multiple conflicting priorities to deal with at the same time. There is a review on Yelp mentioning Steven on 10/1/20, and the reviewer said he is rude and she can’t deal with him. Neither can I, but I highly recommend VMC.

Great staff. Simply a great veterinarian facility.

We use to go to Dr. Lightfoot for yrs when she was in Largo Avian Animal Hospital . We took our reptiles and she is the best in this field. She took care of all our rescued reptiles from snakes to monitors to tegues. She was always there for our babies. We miss her so much. Hope you are doing well Dr.Lightfoot. Sue Julien

I love VMC! Everyone who works there is professional, caring, and love my Atticus. I have a Frenchie and they have folks who know a ton about the breed. It's so nice to talk to Vets as well as the supporting Techs and staff who understand so much about Frenchies and speak the language needed so I feel confident that Atticus is getting the best care. I see a ton of other breeds and they have a Cat specific building as well. I know they bring the same knowledge about Atticus to their other client's pets. They are great!
