I love Pawsnrec! ???? They are very good with the dogs, have great hours, helpful and kind staff, and provide great service for dogs and mothers/owners alike! I highly recommend!

My fur babies went in for an evaluation day today and they came home hungry, happy, and ready for bed❣ The staff was very nice and professional. The only drawback is they aren't allowing facility tours, so I'm a bit hesitant to leave my Charlie and Sally overnight without seeing the kennels, play areas, environment, etc...hopefully the tours will be available soon❣????????✌

Paw n Rec goes over and above to take care of our dog! He loves going there and is so excited every time we drive up for drop off. He goes often for daycare and we have used them for overnight boarding too. You can tell the staff truly love their jobs and the dogs! It is an excellently run place, and we are so grateful to trust them with the care of our sweet boy. Knowing he is safe, loved and well-cared for is priceless!

Love this place. My pup is always SUPER excited when she figures out we’re going to PNR. You can tell that the people love the dogs, they all know her and she loves them (which is saying something bc she’s picky about humans she likes). They take good care of her and the other dogs wear her out. Also super nice that they have early and late hours for drop off / pick up.

Our dog Lulu had a great first impression with the PNR team. The process to sign up for the account and evaluation was user friendly and ver accessible for future visits. Lulu looks forward to spending more time here

I love Paws N Rec! My dog has been going for around 6 months and he gets so excited every time we turn down the street. They are so good with him and he always comes home exhausted (which is great because he has so much energy). If you are looking for a place for daycare or boarding, this is your place!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place completely ruined a vacation of mine by refusing to take my dog without providing requirements to me in advance. Gave them all documentation days in advance, spoke to an associate as well. Totally ridiculous and a total waste of time. Go somewhere else.

I am giving 5 stars with a caveat. Currently, you can not your or enter the facility due to the pandemic. I understand this and will amend after I can tour ( I all positive I won't have too, though) Have a furry bff? Take them hear! I realize when you look at the pricing it looks exorbitant, it isn't. To get started, head to the website. They not only do day care they are also, a hotel. Yup, your bestie can have a staycation, too!! You will need to send in copies of shot records, etc. They want all their guests to be healthy and happy!! Want proof of all the joy and happiness? Head over to their Facebook or Instagram! After all your documentation and what not, your bestie is brought in for a test play date. They want to make sure everyone can play nice and there aren't any crocodile ???? tears! Now, while your baby is there and your anxiously biting your nails, check out their Instagram and their your pooch id, gloriously happy and playing with all their new frens without you. Hold the sob, they are happy!! Pick up is around the side, similar to drop off. It's easy and while there does tend to be a line around 5ish, your furry baby will be joyously ecstatic to see you and gloriously tired. (Except my baby, she was all full of the energy). Don't forget to check for their report card!!

I have been taking my puppy, Boujee, to Paws 'n' Rec since she was 4 months (and fully vaccinated), and she loves it so much! At first, she was nervous to get dropped off and even meet new people. Now she jumps out of the car and runs straight inside without looking back. It has helped her so much with meeting new people, new dogs, how to properly play and relax. The staff is always so incredible and remember our Boujee girl. I appreciate this place so much - the drop off and pick up times are unbeatable in Tampa too! I cannot say enough good things about PNR, thankful we found them :)

I don't know who loves this place more: me or my dog, Lola! She has been going here for about 2 months now and she absolutely loves it! She's a rescue so is very hesitant in meeting new people and visiting new places. The first couple of times she was a bit nervous but now whenever I drop her off, she gets so excited and wags her tail :) As a healthcare worker, I truly appreciate their hours especially when I work 12-hour shifts and I also appreciate the fact that they're open on holidays! They have been extremely responsive - from the minute I emailed just to ask questions to now, always a phone call away. I also stalk their instagram on days I drop off Lola and see her have fun with her friends in the stories/instagram posts they post. Highly highly recommend this awesome puppers place!

I've been taking my dog to Paws 'n' Rec for about six months now and I can't recommend this place enough. You can tell the whole team loves dogs from the moment you step in. But most importantly, they treat your dog like you would--with nothing but love. I recently boarded my dog here for two weeks while I was out of town and was really impressed with the team's responsiveness to my questions, their commitment to care for my pup the best they could and even send me photos that show how much my dog is enjoying her time. I've tried numerous other doggy daycares in Tampa. None of them can hold a candle to the team at Paws 'n' Rec. Thank you for giving me the confidence and peace of mind that my dog is always cared for when she's there.

My 4 month old puppy has been going here for the last month. He absolutely loves it! Despite my attempts to socialize him, he was still extra shy with people and other dogs when he started. The first two times I dropped him off, he was actually shaking. After a few days, he really came out of his shell! Each of his caregivers went out of their way to bond with him and build his confidence, and kept me updated on his progress. Now he can hardly wait to be dropped off and play with his friends. He has become a friendly, outgoing pup who loves meeting new people and new dogs. I couldn’t be happier with the way this very professional and caring staff takes care of my little guy!

I can’t say enough good things about the people at Paws N rec. they are the sum of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They truly care about every dog that comes through the door. My puppy there was thrilled every time we pulled up outside. She was sad to leave every time. They’ve already taken great care of her. Her time there is help so much with her interaction with people as well as other dogs. She has become a much happierPuppy from her time there. I have also left her there to board a few times during trip. I never had to worry about her staying there. I could not recommend another dog care center more than this place.

I don’t know exactly what to think. I am torn... I genuinely loved the attention given to us at the meeting of the coordinator and the employees that were helping the front desk. The hardest part was going through the back area and see the cubbies that full grown dogs were sitting in, I don’t know how long they stay there throughout the day since there isn’t video surveillance accessible. But upon getting my dog back after an 8 day vacation, he was visibly skinnier, peed immediately when we arrived and he saw us, in the car very nervous and a little hostile toward us, and when he got home drank two whole bowls of water. I don’t know what went down, but it was my first experience with a dog hotel. Polite people and Nothing directly “negative” at me or on the billing side. I guess that is how dog hotels work, less one on one attention to convenient have someone watch your dog. Since then I have gone onto Rover and Wag and choose to board at people’s individual homes. Still have to pay monthly fees, so there is no one time watch fee, you pay the “subscription” type fee then the boarding.

I am more than happy with this pick for doggy daycare. I was on a short wait list for my large dog to get in but was worth the wait. My girlfriend and I both work until 8 or 9pm everyday and every other dog park within 30 min drive from Tampa closes at 6pm. Paws n Rec stay open until midnight which is perfect for us. The only downside is they are monthly recurring and if you don't use the days in the package they expire. But the overall price per month is more than fair with the professional experience they offer. My favorite part is coming home and checking their Facebook page to see all the photos of the dog with my dog looking like he is having a blast. I highly recommend them!

We adopted two puppies from the Humane Society during quarantine and were very weary about boarding them when we had to head out of town for a few days. Paws ‘n’ Rec was the perfect fit and the staff made us feel very comfortable leaving our little girls in their care. I called to check in on them while we were away, the staff immediately knew who I was and gave me details about how our pups were doing. They were in great spirits when we picked them up and enjoyed seeing updates about them via Paws ‘n’ Rec’s Instagram. They also have convenient grooming services, so your pups are fresh and clean when you pick them up. Drop off and pick up is quick and easy, which is a plus. I have multiple friends who also take their dogs here and have also had great experiences. I highly recommend for both boarding and doggy daycare!

I have been sending my pup the PNR for almost a year and a half and have been thrilled with their service and compassion for her. She has been going since she was 6 months old and it truly is her second home. Holly gets so excited in the mornings when we drive up! They take extra time to get to know her and love her like she was their own dog. As a healthcare provider, I rely on them tremendously.

Paws ‘n’ Rec is hands down the best daycare and boarding facility I’ve ever used. I have no hesitation taking my pups there whenever it is time to travel. All of the staff is extremely friendly and they keep me updated on the status of my pups while I am home. Easy to get ahold of and extremely flexible, they have helped me when I have been in a pinch multiple times. With top notch facilities and staff, If you are looking for a great place to take your dogs, definitely let them have a vacation and take them to Paws ‘n’ Rec!

Edit: it was good until it wasn’t. Like most things that seem too good to be true, this place follows suit. I cannot say enough good things about this place. My 10 month old pup had a rough start in his “past life” (aka in his previous family), resulting in terrible separation anxiety. From the very first second, they did everything they could to make him (and me!) feel comfortable. I have nothing but praise for the staff here and the phenomenal facility and culture they’ve built - from Madison’s initial friendly emails, to the Adventure Guides, and to the directors. A happy space for people and pups ❤️
