Great staff awesome hours good prices. I really wish they would install a camera system and app to observe your pet.

Prior to the business transition to Kokoro Pet Resort, I had been a long term customer to South Tampa Pet Resort. I originally was very upset with the cutback in hours and the increase in price and started to look at other places because I work long hours and I simply could not afford the extra charges. I am very happy to say that the owner listened to customers feedback and reduced prices and cut specific charges. The staff is wonderful, especially Jimmy and Lammy. Homer is very well taken care of at Kokoro and I will continue to recommend it to others!

Great place to bring pets! Jimmy is great with the dogs and the people. Good customer service and you can tell he really cares about the animals he works with. Wouldn’t bring my dog anywhere else!

While picking up my dog, the people at the front desk clearly did not know how to handle dogs and my dog was let out of the front door into the parking lot without a leash and without me. They also did not know what dog bed, blanket, or toys were his, and did not give me his medicine I brought. When I gave them a thumbs down on the text message survey a women then called me and told me to “trust my gut feeling” and not return to this kennel. Which worries me to a great extent since my dog has stayed here multiple times. Very conceding and will not be returning to this kennel.

Dogs had a good play day. Facility was clean and staff was nice and helpful!

This is the only daycare I would bring my dogs to! I’ve only seen positive changes. Raven loves it there.

The new 5 star reviews for this place read like a placed ads. Pathetic ownership who would rather use misdirection and fake reviews than own up to shoddy business practices. With the removal of the feeding fees I return my review to the initial 2-star review. Changing the 20 day package to a 90-day expiration makes it worthless for those of us that only use the services once or twice a week. If I purchase a 5-day pass that would make my costs for 20 days jump from $400 to $504. You claim prices have only increased 10% but clearly this would be a 25% increase for me. Dogs are not financial opportunities, they are members of our family and I'm just not sure if I can trust a business that would shamelessly increase prices like this and try to spin it as a good thing. New Ownership, Same Service, Jacked Prices. New ownership takes over with very little warning and now we are expected to pay much higher prices for essentially the same service. I can appreciate somebody wanting to make a return on an investment but not in a way that would make some people get priced out of their services. I feel bad because my pooch loves this place but I just can't afford it anymore and will have to go somewhere else.

My puppy loved this place, Jimmy and Connor always take excellent care of us! 10/10 Would recommend to all my puppy loving friends!!

New owner January 2019, specifically asked them if they were going to increase the price when I found out in December, got a "no" and sure enough, January all the prices are jacked up with new charges for stupid things that should be included like feeding your dog during the day. If you are going to charge that much to watch a DOG you better be reading it stories, taking it to soccer practice, and putting it down for a nap. This is almost as expensive as nannies watching human children. So disappointed at this THIRD turnover after recent price increases from the previous owners. No loyalty to the people that have tried to stick with it over the multiple turnovers. Vet tech onsite or not, you are already charging too much. ENOUGH WITH THE GREED!

My Eddie came back to me so happy! He was in boarding for 3 days and did really good. He was well cared for and did well there with all the other dogs. I did have them give him a bath since he stayed for 3 days, he looked and smelled great. This was our first time there and I would take him again. The entire team had been professional and I was at ease knowing he was in the friendliest place with the team. Thank you all!!

My pup Matilda absolutely loves the place. She goes crazy as soon as we turn on the street. And always seems so happy when I get her back and basically sleeps the rest of the day. They wear her out. That’s saying a lot for a bouncy boxer pup. The staff are super loving and clearly have a blast with the pups. The owner has been extremely accommodating, even making a new package that fit our needs exactly. With options for 1/2 days. Looking forward to the new vet there. One stop shop! Thanks for loving our girl!

Most important to us has been the seamless transition for Dexter and having the same faces greet him daily. Dexter looks forward to his play days at Kokoro. Increasing prices brings a safer environment and knowing Dexter is in good hands gives us peace of mind.
