We love southpaw! My family brought our dog there for 14 years and now I bring my dog here. The staff is very present and the care is thorough. We love Dr. Golphin and vet tech Joanna was so sweet and patient with my many questions!

This was my dogs first visit with Southpaw. #1. They answered the phone and DID NOT immediately put me on hold!! Thank goodness!! The staff seem to be happy with their job (not like my last Vet Hospital). Their Vet Tech I spoke with was very professional and paitient in explaining all services my dog received. My dog had alot of work performed...allergy assessment, allergy shot, badly needed ear cleaning for a chronic infection...and so on. It was a costly visit but extremely thorough!! I will definitely be using them again!! 11/2021. This hospital is owned by a corporation as per front office manager, so their prices have skyrocketed. I know this is a current problem everywhere these days. The cost of having checks on my dog who is prone to UTI's, causes me to decide between purchasing half my groceries or getting her urine tested and her antibiotics! It's too bad that Vet's have to sell out to corporations. The dollar is stronger than that of the love of caring for people's pets.

Love the staff, love Dr. Drake! Sincere and compassionate... and takes the time with (me )and my furry family. Means everything, can't say enough.... Thank you all !!

My animals have been patients at Southpaw since 2002. I have had great care for my dog and all my cats. Now that I live in Lutz, I will continue to use Southpaw for my two cats.

This was our first time taking our puppy to Southpaw Animal and we were completely satisfied with every aspect. Jessica was very knowledgeable and clear explaining our dog's diagnosis & treatment plan. We saw almost immediate results and feel relieved knowing we found an animal clinic we can trust with our pet.

I had told this vet about a negative experience I had had with a previous vet, and he and the assistant were nothing but kind and helpful for every concern I have for my cats, they are knowledgeable about my specific breed’s health concerns and made it clear my cats and their health is their priority, I finally have a vet I feel I can trust! This is my new regular and I feel very secure in that. Sphynx parents: this is the place to go. :)

The vets and the staff are the epitome of animal lovers. For almost 20 years we have been clients of Southpaw - they continue to give tender loving care to our dogs.

Even with operating under COVID Protocols (Curbside service), my Finn was in good hands from start to Finn-ish! Dr Drake came out and talked to me after her check up. I have used Southpaws for more years than I can count and have always gotten great service and even better care. When my hounds have suddenly gotten sick, I have always been able to drop them off for same-day work-in services. Will not use another vet service.

They are so kind to my cat and love it when she comes in. It's nice to have a vet office that you can tell they actually like what they do and the animals that come in. They're also very aware of how pricey vet services can be so they always tell me when there's lab work or dental deals! I feel comfortable placing my pets in their care.
