I brought my dog in for blood in her urine, I asked that they check her urine to see what was wrong. In the end the doctor did a physical touch exam. No test were done at all, he told me he was sure it was a UTI prescribing my dog 3 medications. After spending $450 on this appointment . Not even a week later the bleeding continued and nothing helped. Even when transferring my dog to another vet he did not send over proper documents about treatment that was done and it was unable to be read. I will never tell anyone to go here. I was not happy with the service I got nor treatment.. Love your animal and don’t take them here please

I had two horrible experience with them. First time I took my Yorkie there for a check up so they can quote me for a deep cleaning of her teeth. They gave me a price that day. I agreed and scheduled an appoint for her to be put to sleep so they do the deep cleaning. Then the day of the appointment after I dropped her off. The office staffed called me stating it was going to be $125 more. No reason what's so ever. I told them not to do any procedure to her. I picked her up. The second experience I had is I went to buy pills from the vet. Which I previously brought before for $50-$55 before and when I got there to pick them up the doctor claim it was $90 when I didn't pay that the previous time. I explained that to him and he showed me a blank invoice telling me that is the same thing I paid last time. The vet is all about money and prices are extremely high for no reason. The location is not clean.

They like to cha-ching you for everything. I think they are too pricey.

My boyfriend just brought our dog here and had an awesome experience!! The Dr was very nice and knowledgeable. The Dr was gentle my dog was very happy and comfortable. I would highly recommend!

If I could leave zero stars I would. DO NOT bring your pets here. The vet does not clean their tools, there are a lot of bugs, and it is extremely overpriced. There are many other great vets in tampa to bring your pets to. STAY AWAY.

Will up charge for everything. I didn’t give them a stool sample and they did no blood work and came to the conclusion my dog had worms just to charge for treatment. I don’t recommend.

I can not say enough how grateful I am for the emergency surgery they did on my cat. He was so kind and helpful, saved my cats life and gave us extra vitamins and a return visit free of charge. Amazing doctor and great place. I’ll be recommending him for all of my friends.

Dr. Girgis is very hands-on and thorough. Took good care of my doggy and his swollen, red paw. All better now thanks to the Doc!

I adore this place! You can tell everyone here enjoys their job and loves animals, so it never feels like a scam or like they're trying to squeeze you for money. Taking care of a pet isn't cheap, and the doctor and the nurse are both very reasonable and understanding with price. It's honestly the cheapest place you'll be able to find for your pet that isn't sketchy.

We took out baby lexie and they took really good care of her and helped her recover. We appreciate the doctor and the nurse that helped us .

I took my dog for shots and a physical. It turns out she need her teeth scraped and her gums were infected due to the tartar build up. She had the procedure done the following week and it went very well. She was treated like a princess and i could tell Vera liked the doctor very much. He is gentle, kind, and very knowledgeable. He will be our vet forever! The only advice I woud give is to keep track of the cost for each treatment or medication received. The cost adds up very quickly and I had a bit of sticker shock both times I took her. I believe the cost was in line with other vets, but I am on a tight budget and this took place in December close to the holidays. But overall, I like this doctor and his staff very much!!

Dr. Gurgis is very thorough and caring. We were glad to find him after our veterinarian of many years retired. We now have a new doctor for our two dachshunds and are very pleased with his approach and concern. He also worked with us on the pricing and has special package pricing for the annual maintenance stuff for our fur-babies. Thank you Dr. Gurgis!

Brought my dog in who was hit by a car. They gave me a flier to a vet that was almost an hour away when blue pearl was right down the road. Also, friend told me he brought a injured hawk in and he only had a bike and the Indian guy there said no not my problem.. and told him to go somewhere else... he said they were closed and he couldn’t help them. Even tho he had a car. If he loved animals , he would of helped the hawk. This place is seriously a joke. Unloving. Heartless. Seems like they just want $$$

I went to this vet bc he was able to see my puppy sooner than any other vet and that should have been red flag #1. He has no business and for good reason, he's a bad doctor. He was gentle and sweet to my dog however he prescribed 4 different medictionans that were not needed and costed a total of $400.(when I Google these meds they came out to $60 so he gouged a worried fur mama) I went to my regular vet for a follow up BC his ear infection has not gotten better and she said all the meds prescribed were not what was needed for my dogs ear infection. She prescribed a different medication all together and it only costed $20!! This vet will Rip you off just to keep his own roof over his head! He will take ADVANTAGE of worried fur parents please go to ANY OTHER VET!!

So satisfied with service at Busch animal hospital and puppy and dog packages are awesome too and my mother is very please with her services with her dog too. Highly recommended.

Came to this place because of groupon. Asked for all vaccines that were needed to put my dog in kennel. Also asked for anal glands to be expressed. After all was done turns out I paid more here than my regular vet and didnt get bordatella …

A great place to take your animal. I took my dog and he was thoroughly checked out for his issues.

Terrible experience with this Vet and will never return again. Over-charges for everything. Flea medication did nothing and was a waste of money. The same flea medication that he prescribed for the cat is sold for $20 on the Walmart site …
