We love Barks to Riches! We bring our Doberman and Schnauzer here multiple times a week and they love it. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Our Doberman comes home smelling like fresh linen every time! They even trim their nails when you buy the package of visits. The facility is clean & has a ton of indoor and outdoor space. The pups come home well exercised and ready for snugs. I’d recommend Barks to Riches to any pup parent.

Amazing dog daycare for my high energy Aussie. The free range style ensures she can play all day. Super flexible scheduling including boarding. Their groomer is great too. Kira is in the BTR pack.

Most horrific place to leave ESPECIALLY a small dog! No person working there knows the first thing about dogs, and especially about signs of small dog in peril. This is a BIG DOG play place AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!! DO NOT BOARD HERE…!!!!! YOUR PET IS NOT WATCHED OVER… meaning… if your dog can’t take care of itself…. THIS PLACE WILL DENY DENY DENY … all the way home UNTIL SOMEONE HURTS BADLY ENOUGH TO SHUT THIS BUSINESS DOWN!!!

We just moved to this area and used their services once and we were very happy so we booked boarding for our dog for a weekend. We were told we could drop him off after 8am on Saturday and he even called to confirm the appointment Friday, however when we got there we were greeted with a sign on the door that said drop off 10am or 6pm. We were never told that. We called and he said sorry those are the times. We almost had to cancel our trip. This was extremely upsetting. I thought we found a great groomer and someone we could trust with our dog, now we will have to look elsewhere.

I highly recommend you check out Barks for all your boarding and daycare needs! Kendry and the staff are friendly and responsive and have clearly taken the time to get to know my pup and her quirks. My dog always seems excited when I drop her off (which is a quick and easy process) and she's usually pretty tired when we get home after playtime. I’ve never had a bad experience taking my dog to Barks to Riches and I'm sure you won't either.

My Golden, Oliver, has been going to doggy daycare at Barks to Riches for over 2 years and we both couldn't be happier. Kendry has always been reliable and consistent, and I so appreciate that Oliver has a place to go that he loves so much. We are fortunate in Seminole Heights, to have Kendry and Barks to Riches. ;)

We love Barks to Riches! I can't say enough good things about this place. We started sending our Catahoula/Pitty pup there in January of last year for some early socialization...but Barks became indispensable to us when the pandemic kicked in! Attempting to train clients remotely with a rowdy 5 month old pup had me day-dreaming about day-drinking. A lot. Yesss, it's safe to say Barks to Riches has saved my sanity this past year. Now all I have to do is mention "school" in the morning and our pup's at the door, tail wagging and ready to go. Our rowdy Monas loves going to play at Barks, and comes home happy and worn out, with a big dopey grin on her face...again, top-notch for our sanity! Huge thank you to the owner, Kendry, for being so awesome! Our girl absolutely adores him, and he's always super kind, helpful, and accommodating. We know our pup is in great hands while she's there. So grateful to have an amazing spot like this in the neighborhood. We depend on it, and Monas does too!

Bentley has been going here for about a year now. I bring him in once or twice a week and he absolutely loves it. He is so freaking happy to get in the car for his daycare days and is exhausted by the time he comes home. I am so happy to …

I cannot recommend B2R enough!! We’ve been bringing our 2 dogs weekly since Barks opened about 3 years ago. Kendry (the owner) has always been so accommodating, communicative, and reliable. Our dogs LOVE going to daycare (and sometimes spending the night) and I can always trust that they are in good hands. We love having Barks to Riches in the neighborhood!

We have brought our two elderly dachshunds Winston and Wendell to barks and Ritches a few times and absolutely love it. They take great care of our boys and I would highly recommend to any looking for a dog daycare or overnight facility. I have seen some horrible reviews recently that are shining an incorrect light on this wonderful locally owned Seminole heights business. If your dog is elderly and has medical issues you should find boarding at a veterinary office where your pet can be monitored under doctor supervision - not a regular dog boarding facility.

BEWARE! NEVER AGAIN will I take my dogs here. Negligence and incompetence contributed my oldest dog passing away from hypothermia & dehydration, shortly after leaving the boarding facility. This is something that could have been avoided with following directions and proper care. Prior to boarding, I was in contact via email, text and speaking with the owner as to whether or not they'd be able to provide the care my disabled corgi needed. He assured me they'd be able to care for my dogs. I left explicit instructions both verbally & written on their care information sheets. I suggest you think twice before boarding at Barks to Riches.

BEWARE! DO NOT BOARD YOUR PETS HERE. My friend boarded her dog here and when they picked him up he had low blood pressure and was extremely dehydrated! They took him right to the animal hospital afterwards and WITHIN 24 HOURS HE DIED!! If you love your pets stay FAR FAR away from this place. ZERO STARS.

We have been taking our pup to Barks for almost a year now, and his little brother just joined him as well! Barks is in such a convenient location if you are in the Heights area. Their hours work great with our work schedule. They allow our wild pups to get some energy out and play with their friends We trust them 100% and also use them for boarding. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Love the BTR team! Our Annie was very antisocial so they took the time to work with her & were very patient in getting her acclimated. Her time at BTR has helped her so much. She’s not as scared of other dogs now & loves going to see her doggie daycare friends! Thank you guys for everything you’ve done! ???????? Cathy & Shawn

Barks to riches is a second home for all of my family’s dogs! The warm welcome we receive when we pull up and seeing how excited our pups get is always the highlight of our morning! Our dogs never want to leave - we really think they would stay there FURever if they could! When they do come home they’re perfectly pooped from a day of fun (and they keep us updated with the cutest photos EVER the whole times they’re there!) We recommend Barks to all of our friends and truly love them! ❤️????

STAY AWAY. This place almost killed my dog today. In fact, my dog is in the hospital now, seeing if he will make it or not. My family has an elderly dog with special health needs, and we were assured by the facility that they were fully equipped to care for him. Lies. They bathed our elderly dog OUTSIDE IN 55 DEGREE WEATHER IN COLD WATER. This gave my dog HYPOTHERMIA. The owner tried to tell me he returned the dog to us “dry and warm”. Again, false. He was soaking wet and freezing. My dog was also not properly given water, and is now severely dehydrated. They clearly did not ensure he drank. The vet said there’s no way he’s had much water at all in 3 days (the length of his stay). Our other dog who also stayed, was also clearly not given proper water, as she ran directly to her water bowl upon arriving home and guzzled the entire thing (incredibly out of character). We are currently waiting to see if our dog will make it out of hypothermia and dehydration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT PLACE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR DOG. UPDATE: my sweet family companion has now passed away.

Our pup loved Barks so much and so did we! Sadly we had to leave tampa and we miss them so much. Every time we would leave our pug puppy with the Barks team we knew he was was being well taken care of and having a blast! He was a part of their family and they were a part of ours! It is nice to feel like you can take your pup somewhere that will treat them like their own and be mindful of your dogs crazy quirks. The day we moved, the owner sobbed as hard as we did! Unlike any other daycare experience we have had. 11/10 would recommend! Plus, you cant beat the epic pics they post everyday!

I don’t know what I would do without Barks To Riches. They have become a second home for Bruce. He is always happy when he gets there and never wants to leave lol. The staff does a great job playing and interacting with him. They also send photos of Bruce throughout the day. If you are looking for a day care for your four legged child I would highly recommend this location

Do not recommend. My family friend's dog died because of Barks to Riches negligence. When my family friend came to pick up their dog, the dog was in critical condition and was immediately taken to a veterinary hospital. The vet stated that when the dog arrived, he was suffering from hypothermia, low blood glucose, low blood pressure, sepsis and organ failure. There was nothing that could be done at that point and he died. The veterinary clinic said that in their professional opinion, the dog did not drink water or eat food during his boarding at Barks to Riches. I was horrified to hear what happened. The owners at Barks to Riches did not accept responsibility nor do anything to help my family's friend after the fact. Instead, it appears Barks to Riches reached out to it own friends to write positive reviews online to drown out this story (notably there were an increase in positive reviews for Barks and Riches soon after this incident occurred). I am saddened with what happened to my family friend's dog and troubled by Barks to Riches actions--both during the dog's stay and after. I have seen clear documentation from the veterinary clinic about what happened - it doesn't make sense for Barks to Riches to deny culpability, but I'm sure that position will come back to haunt them one way or another. I do not want to see this happen to anyone else's dog. I strongly do not recommend doing business with Barks to Riches or its owners.

Do not leave your fur baby here! Do not risk the well being of your pet by placing them in these people’s care. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to warn others as I have seen first hand what can happen if you leave your pet here. Thankfully, I was properly warned and will not be leaving my dog here, but saw my dear friend’s dog suffer and die just hours after being picked up from their stay here. It’s not worth the risk of such an unbearable loss. Heartbreaking! Do your research and find somewhere reputable. Our pets depend on us and deserve better.

Barks to Riches is an amazing doggy daycare for your fur babies. The owner Kendry goes above and beyond for the dogs, clients and employees. Kendry is always working hard and never has any days off. He is always doing upgrades to the facility to make sure all the dogs have a great time. He is always taking and posting pictures EVERYDAY so that you can see your fur baby having a blast. Barks to Riches website helps you locate the prices for overnight, half day, full day, bath, and nail trims. You fill out an application for your baby and Kendry gets to you right away, asking many questions about your dog and answering many questions and when you plan on joining the pack. Barks to Riches is a free range facility.. meaning your dog is never in a crate and gets to play all day long.. Does your dog love the water? Well on Fridays drop your baby off for water day! ... Kendry has created suites for the dogs for comfort when staying over night. I highly recommend barks to riches. Support a small business as Kendry is always working to succeed, even on holidays.
