I can't find a place more responsive and caring. They are truly awesome and interested in my pets welfare.

North Florida Animal Hospital is very compassionate about their 4 legged patients and their owners.

We took our family dog there last year and they helped my grandmother understand he was at his time, and needed to be put down. They were amazing in this, and helped with her understanding a lot considering she has declining health. Yesterday though I took my current dog and they were again, amazing!! Even the nurse kissed my pups head to calm her when walking out of the room to weigh her. They worked out everything with me and gave me options and helped me find the best option for my pup. Cannot further promote this business, I love them!

Although they are a little pricey, they seem to take good care of your pets.

I have been taking my dog here since she was 8 weeks old and now she is 10 years old. I'm not sure what happened to this place but they have gone downhill in the past year or so! I Switched to Cumberland clinic and it was the best decision I ever made!

The front desk attendants are awesome -- very welcoming. Dr. Fullerton is super nice. I really appreciate the friendly atmosphere. (Actually had a second visit today)

Took my Violet, who is receiving palliative care for cancer, to NFAH last night because I thought she was in pain. Initial call resulted in speaking to a friendly attendant. When I arrived, they took her in (COVID) and then called and asked for a history. After Dr. B. examined her, he spoke to me for about 30 to 45 minutes. Amazing! He addressed what was going on with her at the moment, and then he spoke to me, most compassionately, about end of life issues, her quality of life, and what to look for in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again should the need arise. Thank you so very much, NFAH.

The staff was very helpful and caring. They put my fears to rest when I put my cat down.

All the staff at North Florida Animal Hospital do an excellent job, but Dr. Valentine is the best! She is personable, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. She goes “above and beyond” to provide exemplary service. I highly recommend North Florida Animal Hospital.

Dr Steele was awesome! Very friendly and explained everything that was going on thoroughly. Highly recommend and happy to have finally found a great vet in Tallahassee!!

Love these guys for years!! My vet tech (Justin) knew immediately that Ms. P was not well. Dr. Way was great. She went over test results and had a treatment plan ready to discuss.

Very good with our puppy. She goes back in February.

I am so glad we found this veterinary practice. The doctors were really great explain everything to you and take great care of your pet.

We like Dr Valentine best among the many vets who work here. We have also use their boarding service and that has worked out well for our little dog. Wish they had after hour vets on call.

I will start this off by saying this is not my primary veterinarian, and for good reason. Also, that I am a pretty patient person with a busy schedule as well as a full time college student with a Job. I called at 9:20 am to inquire about walk-ins, after speaking with Hannah I was told they allow walk-ins from 9-11am, I responded “perfect I will be there at 10.” I actually checked in at 9:55am and was told there are two people ahead of myself and that they operate on a first come first serve basis, which is understandable. I preceded to wait for 45min and watched as not 2 but 6 people went ahead of me before asking what is going on?! I was told I would be next and the Dr. was working on one more patient. At this time it was 10:40. So I told myself I would wait a bit longer since I was “next”. I then patiently waited another 30 min until 11:10am before finally being called to the room. I was 5 min away from leaving and taking my time and money else where. When I at last was called in it had been over an hour of waiting and 2 hours since I called ahead. Once in the room things changed around for the better with the doctor. She was very helpful, informative and friendly. There were three techs that came in to help with administering eye drops and to answer any questions that I had. Glad I stayed to get my boy treated but man was I close to going somewhere else. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME! IT WILL BE AN ALL DAY EVENT!

I write this review with a very heavy heart--as we have lost both these wonderful dogs in the past 10 months. The Vizsla died suddenly on Saturday evening. We contacted NFAH yesterday just to let them know with an e-mail and late yesterday afternoon--they sent a bouquet of flowers! We have lived in Tallahassee 5.5 years and Christine (Office Manager), Dr. Steele (our primary vet who is our absolute favorite), Dr. Shelton, Willie, Justin, and all the staff have been wonderful. I can't say enough to highlight the wonderful care your pets and you get at NFAH. For example, Dr. Shelton helped us in two emergencies when Dr. Steele was not there, staff delivered medication to our house, Dr. Steele made a house call, etc., etc. NFAH goes above and beyond to care for your pets. We highly recommend them.

Took care of our fur children while we went out of town for the weekend. They did a great job .

I don’t have enough kind words to say about this hospital. They were so courteous from the phone call to the walk in. Dr valentine was an absolute sweetheart and really cares as a vet. Too many vets are only concerned about money and aren’t willing to help you. I need to have a major surgery and she was able to help me and I’m sooooo grateful. Willie was SUPERB as our tech and went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable safe and truly a blessing from G-D. Thank you North Florida animal hospital!!! Will never go anywhere else especially not Allied emergency as they charge you for an exam and don’t even look at the dog.

I have taken 2 of my dogs there. Everyone there is very nice and work hard on getting you in and out so you are not waiting long to see the Dr.

It was best vist for my first going to North Florida Animal Hospital vets and staff was excellent.

Thanks for taking Winnie The Pooch as a walk-in. We were there right at 7am and out within the hour. We got the medications we needed and it was a relief to be able to be in the room with her. Thank you for such a easy and pleasant experience.

NFAH has just been INCREDIBLE with our older cats. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the vets, the vet techs, the staff, and the proactive communicative nature of everyone who works here. They are so so so so good, and I am so glad to be taking our babies here.

My precious kitty passed away today. I had to go in for cremation arrangements. They were so kind and compassionate. Thank you so much to the entire staff. ????
