I'm in the unique position of being able to offer feedback from both the client's side and the vet med side of things. Not only do I work for the local veterinary ER that regularly accepts patient transfers and referrals from here, but recently Dr Jennell Appel has been attending to my Llewellin Setter, Tex, in a specialist's capacity to properly rehab an Achilles injury and a small, painful area of spinal compression. It's been an entirely new experience for me, being exposed to what is effectively the "sports medicine" corner of vet med, working with a Dr that lives and breathes the sporting and working breeds and is fluent in the delicate, multi-pronged approaches necessary to properly rehab their orthopedic and soft-tissue injuries rather than just "smoothing them over." Dr J came highly recommended, and from day one she took her time putting Tex through an exhaustive physical evaluation and explained, in great detail, where we would start, as well as the big picture plan. At no point throughout our appointments and this process have I been left wondering what is coming next or been at a loss for information on what I need to do and how I need to be doing it. She has been kind, patient, easygoing, and always seems genuinely happy to see Tex and care for him. Anyone that knows me knows I'm exceptionally particular about the care of my pack, and it's so comforting working with someone that values their health and well-being as much as I do. The facility itself is always remarkably clean, staff is friendly and accomodating, and the grounds are attractive and well-kept. You can feel assured that the competent and caring folks at Los Robles will take great care of your babies.

We took our cat last week to Los Robles Animal Hospital because he was having urinary issues and after blood-work and other exams, the diagnosis was stress! The doctor was going to send our cat home with ear drops for the stress. According to her, the blood work did not show anything. When we asked her if she had checked for stones, she had not thought about it! She then ordered an X-Ray and then said that our cat showed signs of arthritis. Not happy with either diagnosis, we immediately took our cat to Paws & Claws Vet. They run blood work, and found that our cat had a bad case of UTI - cystitis. We do not know what happened here but one thing for sure, the doctor at Los Robles Animal Hospital gave us the wrong diagnosis that could have cost the life of our cat! All of our cat symptoms called for a urinary tract infection. I certainly do not recommend Los Robles Animal Hospital.

Los Robles Animal Hospital took care of me and my pet in our time of need. After having to evacuate from New Orleans I found myself running out of medication for my pet. The staff at LRAH were able to assist me in getting the medication that I needed quickly.

Definitely best place for pets in town. They do grooming too. My buddy loves this place.

On Nextdoor.com for the 32303 discussion on Veterinary services that practice COVID safety protocols for pets and people. Yes they do and protective cover for employees.

Why ask me to fill out a form for services being requested, ask me twice if I have filled it out, and then completely ignore it? My bad that I trusted the form's efficacy and said to just proceed with the services marked and let me know when to pick him up. An appt that should have cost just about $100 cost $230 after a wellness check I did not ask for, flea medication I did not ask for, a one year rabies instead the the three year I requested... Last two times before that I asked for him to be chipped. Third visit, still not chipped. Three stirkes you are out. The care is good but no one is listening.

We started using Los Robles 3 years ago after we had a bad diagnosis from our old vet. Our old vet did not show much compassion and we were not happy. Los Robles has been fantastic and showed compassion and care from day one. We recently had to say goodbye to our old man dog at over 16 years of age and they couldn't have made the process any better. Dr. Melanie even sent us a very personal card after. When we get ready to get another dog, we will definitely use Los Robles for all of their vet needs.

Highly recommend! In addition to providing outstanding care for my pup I'm consistently blown away by their customer service. The entire staff is knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating.

Everyone of the staff members are great. Everyone from Dr. Donofro to the ladies at the front desk Kathryn and Sandy. I highly recommend!

I cannot really think of anything positive to say of my experience there. The front end staff is abrupt and dismissive - the doctor didn't address any of the issues I took my dog to her for, instead insisting she dispense "natural, homeopathic" remedies for the dogs knee...which was not the medical problem at all. Then when I returned the following day to question this "natural medicine" because there were several severe warnings against it on dog forums, the Dr became very irritated and angry to be questioned, and told me to leave her practice. This is not patient care.

Would rate them 6 stars if possible. I started doing to Los Robles with the first cat I’ve ever owned and I cannot emphasize how incredible helpful Los Robles has been. Whether it’s dealing with the kindest & friendliest people during actual visits, or speaking with the most helpful people when calling with simple inquiries, this animal hospital provides a top tier experience in every way. They provide a level of peace of mind for your pet’s health that I didn’t even know existed!!!

If you are in need of a vet, this is vet to go to. Staff are always pleasant, helpful and show genuine concern for your beloved pet. The vets are too notch. Go well above the average to take care of your pet.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, I love this office so much! They are always so kind, considerate, and understanding anytime I call or bring my dog in. I've tried some other vets in town and none of them even come close to putting in the effort to really know and understand my pet. They have gone above and beyond to make my dog and I comfortable over the last few years.

We have been going to Dr Donafro for over 20 years. We would have no other vet treat our pets (we consider them children). Dr D. is very knowledgeable and compassionate which is a great combination. I hope you have the opportunity to become part of the Los Robles family. Bill

Long story short; they are incredible people! My pup was bitten/stung or whatever. Regardless, she had a bad allergic reaction that involved her face and potentially her airway. I called and they were waiting on her like she was the POTUS. Staff scooped her listless body from me and ran off to do what they do best; save our Pup! They are definitely my Vet for life!

Wonderful people! Very caring and compassionate. We were visiting from out of town when my dog ripped off a nail. He was bleeding so bad and we didn't know where to go. We stopped here and they took him right in and fixed him up. thank you!
