I’ve has exceptional service. My puppy is having FHO surgery soon and they have made me and my puppy feel very comfortable through the process. Visit for an emergency but I will be switching over to full-time with them. The front desk Jordan is very helpful as well as Ally. Sarah has helped me to and she’s been great. My dogs doctor is Dr. H and she’s really cool and knowledgeable.

Hi! Let’s just start by saying Draco is Bearded Dragon (10) years old. Sadly, he became a widower last year at this time. We have had Draco and his late wife Smaug since they were about two months old, I’m sure he misses her. Since then he has had many issues including pneumonia, gout and liver issues according to my previous exotics veterinary hospital/s and some of the x-rays that they did show me confirmed his lung conditions. However after his last visit I was told that he had had fluid in his abdomen and a exploratory surgery and possibly biopsy his liver was needed. At his age it scared me to death and I wasn’t sure what I should do. Upon recommendation I scheduled a second opinion and well check w/Dr. Lee ???????? I had Draco’s records in my phone so I emailed them while I was in the waiting room. When she came in she looked him over and was telling me about her love of bearded dragons and that she actually has some of her own. Dr. Lee took her time with his exam and asked lots of questions. I arrived there expecting the same outcome as the previous office and was so stressed out. Dr. Lee did her own X-rays/bloodwork and sent it to the lab. Thank God the x-rays came back ok and she did not find any fluid in his abdomen! She also gave me some eyedrops for what the previous office said it was just shed on his lower eyelid, but I knew it wasn’t just that and it was bothering him because he was keeping his eye closed. Other than that said that he looks perfect in every way. She called me yesterday with his bloodwork and said that she couldn’t ask for a better blood results. I am so happy that I took him in and met Dr. Lee. The office and Nurses were great too. If I could give more than five stars I would. Thank you Dr. Lee and Staff! Melissa & Draco

I took my baby there cause she has breathing problems and they took her immediately and checked we Quickly because she have a collapsed trachea ,which Banfield is just OK for maintenance, but I feel more comfortable in taking her to a veterinarian because they did not recommend me at all like welleby vet did that she has a nasal congestion and he gave me medicine for her ,which I truly appreciate it and the cost was way cheaper than Banfield to get some of her stuff that I need to checked. Thanks u so much for taking care of my baby.

Fast service and checked out our little hamster. No major services but quickly diagnosed the ham with a respiratory/phenomena issue and prescribed antibiotics. First time there and they squeezed me in last min for the ham apt. Doctor and staff were nice.

Everyone was very nice. From the moment I walked in, the gentleman up front was very welcoming. The nurse, Tara, answered all my questions. Dr. H was very informative during our visit. Pricing is reasonable. Staff is honest in their medical recommendations. Will definitely be bringing all my exotics back here!

Great group of people. They truly made me feel welcomed and took care of my ball python as if it was their own. They do their best in scheduling times that work best with you and make you see they genuinely cate for your pet

DR H- DIAGNOSED MY DOG INCORRECT, MADE ME SPEND MONEY ON PRESCRIPTION TO FIND OUT 2 DAYS LATER THAT I HAD TO BUY NEW MEDICATION. I ASKED OFFICE MANAGER TO TALK TO VET BECAUSE I HAD BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND SPENT THOUSANDS OF $$$$ BESIDES THE FACT MY BABY GOES FOR A MONTHLY INJECTION AND THEY WERE UNWILLING TO COOPERATE. I ASKED FOR ALL MY RECORDS WHICH I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED, I TOLD THEM THEY LOST A CUSTOMER, THEY DIDNT CARE . I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS HAPPENED TWICE AND GAVE THEM A SECOND CHANCE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS VET TO ANYONE THAT LOVES THEIR FURBABY AND YOU ARE AT RISK OF WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED $$$$

After my Veterinarian passed away. I was left looking for a new Veterinarian. My rottweiler started peeing in the house and drinking excess amounts of water. So I decided to take him to Welleby Veterinary Hospital. Once I took him to his visit. The doctor decided to do a urine culture. After three days I got a call from the doctor's assistant. And was told that his urine culture results came back negative. Then his assistant continue to tell me that the doctor recommended. To give my dog anesthesia for they can get blood and do a radiography exam. That would cost me a little over $800 dollars. I decided to get a second opinion. I took my rottweiler to another veterinarian. And showed the doctor a copy of my dog's urine culture results. From Welleby Veterinary Hospital. Once the doctor saw the results. She told me my dog was Diabetic. Looking at the results the doctor saw that my dog's glucose levels were elevated. And put him on insulin immediately. So after the experience I had with Welleby veterinary hospital. I would not recommend anyone to take there animals here. You can not trust what they are telling you. Please do your research before taking your fur babies here. My dog is doing well now. I give him insulin twice a day. I'm very fortunate that I found a great Veterinarian. That I can trust with the treatment that they are giving my rottweiler.

I’ve been taking my kitten here and I’ve had exceptional care each visit. The staff are SO friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The vets are so kind and take their time speaking with patients. You can tell that they all love and are passionate about the work they do. Would recommend to anyone looking for consistently great care for their pets!

I am a Veterinary Nurse at a local ER so my standards are quite high. I know nothing about dermatological issues working ER so I went to Weleby for help. Within 24 hours his skin looks amazing and he stopping tearing himself apart scratching! I will be going back 100% the staff was amazing and so was the Doctor! My favorite was the nurse with the blue hair I wish I got/remembered her name when I was there but she was the best!!!

Dr. Zimandy and Dr. Hausammann are so caring and wonderful. I couldn't be happier with the care my dog and cat receive.

Everyone is nice and able to deal with my nervous cat. That's good enough for me!

We are so fortunate to have found such caring vets that always go above and beyond. I’m a director for a rescue and I can tell you that their team is just as passionate about the lives we save, as we are. And it’s not rare that you will find Welleby doctors, techs and staff staying well after their work hours… they work through fatigue and heartaches and keep going, never turning away the animals who need them. We are lucky to have such dedicated partners!

Our hamster had a sore on it's back and we brought him to the Welleby Vet. They have a very clean facility, friendly staff, and the vet was very helpful in diagnosing our hamster and recommending treatment. They mixed all of the medications for us on-site and the price for the appointment and medications were fair. The following day, they even called to check up on the hamster. I highly recommend this Vet and the friendly staff there.

This was the worst experience ever. They have hidden fees. I bought my dog in for a procedure they informed me that it will cost 464 total. I paid 204 the first visit. The day of the procedure they went and told me that I have to pay them 474.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. now I’m afraid that they did something to my dog.

Had a doggy emergency and the staff was so empathetic and caring. Definitely recommend.

As far is I'm concerned the best veterinary hospital you could possibly ever find take your pet to. The staff and doctor Hanna Hausammann were amazing they save my dogs life on my daughter's 18th birthday what an amazing birthday present.

I 100% recommend this place if you have a ferret. I bought 2 ferrets from work that were sick, one more so then the other, and the staff was able to schedule me an appointment the next day after I bought them. Staff and vets were beyond friendly and I will definitely be bring my other 3 ferrets here.

Amazing, friendly service!! I spent all day calling all over to find a vet to see my turkey that had a sinus infection, which can be deadly untreated. after a short couple questions a brief hold they found they had time for us immediately! Although dealing with a sick pet is heart wrenching, their friendly, caring service was a pleasure!

I will forever be going here. I went for a neutering for my male rabbit Dove. They reassured me about everything and the sweetest staff you could ever imagine. They did an exam before confirming he was ready and let me know the whole entire process. I trust her with my baby and I don’t see how nobody else could. The Doctor (and staff) was the sweetest and really puts in the time and effort to make sure you know she cares just as much as you do about your baby. I’ve never been here before and feel like definitely found the best. They took me in the same week for the exam and the following week for the neutering. They called right when the surgery was done and gave me the great news that my baby made it and did amazing. I can’t thank them enough. My bunny is my life and they took such amazing care for him and he looks like nothing even happened to him! He’s still his happy self. . Unfortunately this happened during corana virus but they made the experience just as amazing as they could. The prices are very reasonable for how much care and love they put into your pet. They all continued to tell me how cute he was and nothing makes me happier than that. They call and make sure everything is good even after. They answer every single question as clearly as possible and I will never take my bunny or any of my other animals anywhere else.

I just want to say this place was a God sent! I was going to another Exotic Vet for the past 2 years and they have changed their tune. Unfortunately, they have become more money hungry now, and with a lack of interest to help us out with one of our pets. Welleby was willing to squeeze us in their booked day when we needed to bring in our snake. They went above and beyond! The girls at the front desk were very sweet and kind! I highly recommend Welleby!

I love this vet. I had to take my leopard geckos in because they were sick.(sadly one had to be put down that day) they were so caring and professional. Today they sent a custom sympathy card signed by all the staff members. In tears right now. I want to thank all the staff members for everything they did to help my geckos.

I chose to bring my ball python here for his first vet visit because there was a lot of good reviews and it was nearby. I have no complaints about their staff. They seemed kind and professional. However, I do have one complaint about the amount of money I spent there. My ball python was only there for a full body exam and a fecal testing. It took them at most probably 15 minutes to come in and out with my reptile. I was charged a little over $100. I have no idea why I was charged so much. If my snake had a huge injury or illness that needed to be treated, I would understand. But he was perfectly healthy and I was told that nothing was wrong with him. I would spend thousands of dollars for my ball python if he had something wrong with him that needed to be fixed, but $100 seems like a bit too much. EDIT: They have contacted me and explained why it cost as much as it did. Regardless of price it's a really nice place and I recommend you go there. I will definitely bring my pet there again but I'll have to ask how much it would cost before anything.

I have seen both Dr. Zimandy and Dr. Hausammann. There are TONS of exotic vets in south FL, but this is the best one you will ever find! The doctors are excellent and all staff is kind and extremely knowledgeable. They helped save my snake. 10/10 would recommend going to Welleby!

I am very picky when it comes to my dog’s care. I used to travel 40 miles to a vet I liked but he became so busy we couldn’t always get in to see him. I’ve been to many vets in the area and always felt like they were there for the sole purpose of making money with little emphasis on vet care. Then I found Welleby Veterinary Clinic. One mile from the house, great veterinary care, knowledgeable, compassionate people from the front desk to the Veterinarians and everyone in between. I could not be happier that I found them practically in my backyard. Highly recommended!

Having a new puppy during these times is a bit scary. We called at minimum 8 different places in the last 3 days to try to figure out where to take our baby. We decided on Welleby. It started with my conversation with Mecca. She was knowledgeable of the practice and what they had to offer, kind, and did not rush me off the phone. She answered all my questions. Yesterday was our appointment day...we were a bit nervous because we weren't able to go inside with Ruby Mae then Mighty (Vet Tech) came and got her. Our worries disappeared. Ruby Mae was seen by Dr. Zimandy, we waiting in the car (due to this pandemic). Once the examine was complete we received a call from the doctor. She answered all our questions (even the crazy one)! She was patient, full of knowledge, and very reassuring. We are looking forward to long relationship with everyone at Welleby!
