Just moved to Florida from the West coast and totally lucked out to be living within walking distance to my new favorite vet clinic. Easily the friendliest and kindest staff I have ever had the pleasure to experience. They love my pups as if they are their own. They really care. And in today’s world, that can be hard to find.

Fantastic experience!! Made my cat feel very at ease and loved!! Will definitely be going back if we ever need anything!!

BIG DOG APPROVED! We have been bringing our 140 lb Great Pyrenees mix here for a little over 2 years and cannot say enough positive things about everyone here. They have guided us through allergies, 2 ACL/TPLO surgeries (not done at the office, but excellent recommendations), laser therapy, and all of the other issues that arise in owning a dog. We love both doctors equally and the office staff is always so kind. They treat our big boy with so much love and care. If you are considering coming here, make the move and do it!

Dr. Abadia is the best at what he does, and genuinely cares about his patients. I've brought all of my fur babies to him for everything from check ups to serious emergencies and he handles everything with a calm and comforting manner.

We recently moved to Stuart and found that Surfside had some of the best reviews in town. So we took advantage of the new patient free visit. We needed heartguard and a once over. The tecks took time to make our fur baby feel comfortable. (She can be skiddish) Then the vet came in to see her. Everyone was very understanding about her past trauma and didnt push her to do anything she wasn't ready for. Fast forward to Saturday, we needed more preventative meds and the world is on lockdown.. They made every effort to get us in to have her heartworm test so she could get her meds, and took care of the shots too! We were not allowed inside do to social distancing, but felt she was well cared for and shown compassion without us present.

Dr. Abidia and his office staff are the best !!!..We met Dr. Abidia when he practiced in Riverview, FL. Its been over 10 yrs now...and we love him . He is honest and kind and stays away from giving drugs to your animals as much as possible . Our Samantha is close to 17 years old..has arthritis..hip issues and with the supplements and exercise that he suggested years ago..she is still walking 3 to 4 times a week and is in good shape because of his guidance. He helped me honestly and with kindness about having to put down one of my beautiful cats...and gave me guidance and info in keeping my Barron who is FIV positive but has brought us so much happiness and laughter.. and again with supplements Dr. Abidia suggested..Barron has been strong and healthy for over 4 yrs now and now our Prince ,the latest walk up and who is has feline AiDs..yes we keep the cats apart...Lol and how to care for his issues...Dr. Abidia takes time with you and will answer all and any questions you may have...No matter how long it takes . We drive from the Tampa area to Stuart to see Dr. Abidia..yes almost 3 hours one way ,but we trust the way he practices and handles our animals..it is so worth it...and we would have it no other way . Thank you Dr. Abidia and staff for all you do.We love you all.

Love the welcomed feeling everytime I come here

Our two beagle children are very well taken care of every time they need a vet visit or stay for "vacation". They are treated like family and both Dr. MacNamara and Dr. Abadia are excellent vets. The staff @ Surfside is always so pleasant & professional! We feel welcomed here and our pups actually enjoy their visits - wagging tails and all! Both Dr McNamara & Dr Abadia are devoted to our pup’s well-being. They take their time and address all my questions & concerns and do this all with kindness and respect. The small office is actually conducive to less stressful visits as we are not sitting in a waiting room filled with too many furry children.

Compassionate, friendly, excellent care. All of the staff are wonderful. Dr. Abadia took lots of time with us to talk about our elderly cat’s issues And we did not feel rushed at all. This was our first visit and we are so happy to have found this veterinarian practice.
