Well my initial to visits didn't end too well because I couldn't get past the receptionist, who determined if my cat had a blockage I needed to go at the emergency, which then in turn cost me $1, 024 , and it wasn't a blockage. Finally I got the appointment I wanted with Dr Ortiz ,which is an absolutely incredible human being, oh my gosh Tinker really, really ,loved him from first meeting him and is shy with most people,poor boy the results,I sadly had to euthanize my sweet boy. Dr Ortiz and the other staff that they will honest with me and could not have been any kinder, or respectful to both me and my boy, talking on with nurturing touches, this was why I wanted to see Dr Ortiz from the get-go, life is not being so kind lately so this meant the World to me ✌️????.

People are really kind and really nice and really like a malad little pricey but you pay for what you get.

Have been a client for 25 years. They use a combination of Eastern and Western medicine and accupuncture. They are very caring and very responsive. I live in Port Saint Lucie and there are closer vets but I drive the 30 minutes to get here. They all know me and my pets and treat us like family.

We unfortunately had to put our Lucy dog down. She was very old and it was time. The office staff and Dr. Ortiz were incredibly kind and understanding of how difficult this was to do. They took care of everything possible to ensure comfort was established for all. We wanted her ashes, what we received was over the top well thought out and incredible. We have a paw print, a beautiful cedar box, a rainbow poem, and more. The staff mailed a letter of sympathy. Thank you, thank you Page

My dog Fred came to Stuart Animal Hospital after his cancer diagnosis. Because of the skill of his surgeon and the care provided by Dr. Ortiz, Fred outlived his prognosis by 2 years! Dr. Ortiz and his staff were so kind and compassionate. When I have properly grieved and can open my heart to another furball, I will definitely bring them to Stuart Animal Hospital.

Dr. Ortiz and his entire staff are amazing and helped us through a very difficult time with our senior dog. They were extremely responsive and caring to our needs, and we are forever grateful for everything they did for us. Best vet office in Treasure Coast!!!

Doctor's Ortiz & Hendrix along with the great staff provided tender loving care for our dog Bella. She was suffering from heart failure. They were very supportive & caring throughout her illness. We are thankful for them all.

5 Star service here! We had left Banfield/Petsmart and were seeking a new vet to take care of our pet and we went to Stuart animal Hospital and we noticed the level of care immediately was top shelf as soon as we walked in. Everyone cares there! Dr. Ortiz noticed thru testing and exams that my dog had liver cancer. It was in a very difficult spot and did not think the dog would survive the surgery so we agreed to let him go out like a rockstar. We just recently had to put my dog to sleep and it was heartbreaking for me as a pet owner but Dr. Ortiz was in the room with me and he cried more than me LOL. And that meant something to me, that he is a very special person. I felt from the moment We started attending Stuart animal Hospital that we were in the right place! Thank you Dr. Ortiz & Staff

The doctors and staff here are so caring and wonderful. The care they have provided for my senior cat has been excellent - he is never afraid to go see his friends at Stuart Animal Hospital.

He not only cares about my Sophia but actually takes the time to listen to me!! The staff is excellent. Always caring and efficient. You will be happy with the care you receive.

I have never felt so loved and had my animal loved so much by this wonderful Vet and his staff.. Through my trans istion from a Vet I had for our 30 years to a new one. I know my babies are being well cared for and me and my husband well informed.

You will never meet a more caring, compassionate and down to earth person to care for your babies as Dr Ortiz. Whether it's a general check up, an Illness, or unfortunately the worst, he is always there to answer your questions, never rushes, takes his time thoroughly explaining everything. I think the big difference is he actually cares about animals and not just a paycheck, like other so called Veterinarian's I've been to. I'll never go anywhere else.

My husband and I rescued a puppy about 2 years after we moved here, we've had her for about 10 months now and we've been back and forth to the vet multiple times for similar issues. Needless to say, we were frustrated and at a loss for what to do. Luna had a skin infection on her belly and legs that kept coming back. It caused her skin to become red, inflamed, itchy, and patchy. Her previous vet would put her on antibiotics, the infection would clear up and she'd have bald patches where the infection had been, but not even 2 weeks after she completed antibiotics, the infection kept returning. We were never given a long term solution, and we were never given simple things we could do for her to make her comfortable and help prevent the infection from returning. So I went in search of a new vet. I was referred to Dr. Ortiz by a good friend who has 2 big, beautiful and healthy dogs. I've never been more thankful in my life. Luna is a very excitable dog, she has a lot of energy and she gets very loud and very excited when we take her to the vet. She loves it, a little too much. Dr. Ortiz was patient with her, and he spent a tremendous amount of time with my husband and I. He gave us a lot of ideas and a lot to work with to help her from getting the infection again. She's a happy pup and I'm a happy dog mom. I cant wait to take our other angel Ellie to Dr. Ortiz... who is no where near as excitable as Luna, and nowhere near as big. <3

Dr Ortiz and his staff are beyond amazing. I have an older puppy that has went through cancer removal, chemo and now has heart problems. They have been more than accommodating helping me deal with her many health issues. I honestly can’t even put into words how caring this entire office is and I am beyond thankful for each and everyone one of them. I just want them to know that they are appreciated and have much such a huge different in the quality of life my Nala has. I wouldn’t take her anywhere else :)

If you have a sick animal this is the place you want them to be the staff is Fantastic and they know what they're doing they take very special care of any animal you bring to them they go up and beyond the Call of Duty the girls in the front office are just wonderful and caring this is a great place

I have been taking my dogs to Stuart Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The vets always take a lot of time to discuss the health of the dogs and any issues. The wait is minimal and they don't double book. When I'm out of town and need medicine, they will mail it to me. I feel like family there.
