LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I used to take my dog to different vets around the area because she had really bad skin allergies and they would just keep shoving her pills or shots which have gotten expensive. I found Oakhurst and the staff are very friendly and caring. They recommend I change her dog food and what a difference! Also, they were out of the special oatmeal shampoo she typically uses so instead of telling me they were sold out and to try again, the tech tried to match the ingredients and gave me a similar shampoo. Also, my sister had to put her dog down and they actually sent her a card with written messages from the staff and her paw print. I have not seen a vet that does that! It helps they are open later during the weekdays for those that work. I always recommend this place to everyone!

This is by far the best vet hospital. I have been coming here for 15+ years and they never disappoint. The staff is friendly, caring and always work to get my fur babies in quickly. Recently we have been treating our kitty's eye and chronic illnesses. Dr Tyndall has been fantastic through it all, always taking the time to explain everything that's going on, and showing true compassion for our cat through some tough decisions. She even reached out after hours to see how he was doing after surgery (He is doing great by the way due to her care!). I highly recommend this place and thank them for caring about my pets as much as I do.

Horrible experience. I definitely would not recommend. This veterinary hospital as a whole seems to be overwhelmed. I had too many bad experiences to mention them all but the main bad experience was my dog was misdiagnosed. I was told my dog was clear of heartworms and even spot pills for heartworms that they recommended. Then the next thing I know the next day I'm getting call saying please don't give your dog that medicine he has heartworms. So kind of thought okay everybody makes mistakes and had them treat my dog for heartworms but I really regret it. Too many bad experiences along the way and overall nobody seems to know what the other one is doing basically I feel they are overwhelmed and have lost track of the personal vet experience. So basically if you don't want to spend crazy money for not so great service I would recommend going somewhere else

Our dogs Harry and Jackson are not the greatest patients but the techs and Dr. Raver find ways to make them more comfortable during their exams. We have had good success implementing the advice of Dr. Raver to solve their medical issues. We are very grateful for the quality of care provided by the Docs and staff at Oakhurst.

My dog, Ally, does not get along well with other pets or humans. I'm fortunate that all staff at Oakhurst is very patient and empathetic and do their best to treat Ally with care. I am very grateful for the care and compassion they provide.

Dr. Tyndall is outstanding with my kitties. Even my most nervous cat responds well to her. Always offers ideas to keep my pets safe and healthy.

I will never take my baby anywhere else. Dr.Mahco,has been very good with my Zeus Goose. Her staff is the best anywhere. They all care about your pets. I've experienced several veterinarians and she's the TOPS with Zeus & myself/& his daddy. Technicians are the best anywhere. Hello to Ashlee we meet her this week and Zeus approves completely!! Dr. B was quick to diagnose the problem and performed emergency surgery right away. She saved my dog's life! The receptionist and technicians were responsive and sympathetic to my anxious questions.

Would give a zero if I could! Make sure you keep all your receipts, months after I was there and said my balance was zero, they are trying to collect a balance from me from an unknown charge! Watch what You pay and keep track, don’t loose those receipts!!

Dr. Autumn McKenzie has been caring for my small dogs since we moved to the area in 2016. She’s professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and by far one of the BEST vets I’ve ever known. She’s been treating my Deer Head Chihuahua for seizures since day 1. We tried alternative methods early on and eventually put her on a tiny dosage of meds that has stopped the seizures nearly 100%. Maybe one per year. Which is fantastic! She even came to our home when it was time to let our beautiful American Eskimo cross the rainbow bridge. And her greatest achievement has been getting our Chorgi’s allergies under control. Wow. It took multiple visits and products to rid Mignon of a flared up belly and feet with sores and inflammation. Dr. McKenzie gives her a monthly allergy shot and I stay on top of bathing and treating any flare ups with medicated wipes and mousse. It takes a team— the staff, Jane, Stephen, Debbie, Lindsay, Brin and others are friendly and professional. They treat your babies like they’re their own. Thank You for caring and loving my girls! I highly recommend them.

I absolutely loved the care given to my senior pup today from Dr. Donovan. She offers excellent bedside manner, professionalism, and is VERY skilled in providing a quick and accurate diagnosis. It was so refreshing to hear from an experienced, qualified, and honest veterinarian in the area. I highly recommend Dr. Donovan for your pets. After spending years at a sub-par vet I made the difficult decision to switch, as my service dog is now aging and requires care that the previous vet refused to address with not only my service dog but also with my cats in the past. I was provided several diagnoses and a thorough care plan in writing via email from Dr. Donovan, making it simple to order everything he needs to be comfortable and to understand his treatment plan. Receiving this plethora of this information via phone only from vets in the past proved to be overwhelming and quickly forgotten, especially while in an emotional state. Great experience, highly recommended.

This place is terrible. Will take your money and give you false hope by telling you your pet is okay just send home to die not three days later. They knew he was probably terminal but took our money anyway. Glad our dying dog could help pay off your Porsche

Doctors and techs are helpful and very nice.

We have 2 senior dogs each with different issues. The Vet always takes extra time with each. She always explains everything that is going on with each. You can tell she cares for each.
