If I could give zero stars I would… I was booked for a grooming on Jan 1, 2022 with Crystal B. I drove all the way from Parrish, FL. to South Sarasota for a 9am appointment. When I got there, Crystal was present and told me that my appointment was cancelled because another groomer had “called off”. I was also offered 15% off, but I just had to rely on her to give the next groomer my name. I saw it was questioning that my groomer was present but could not groom my dog. I was asked to reschedule with a different groomer so I rescheduled with Genell S. for Jan 3, 2022 and Genell was not informed of the situation that had occurred nor of the discount. After my first appointment was cancelled and having to reschedule for a different groomer, I was over it. I do not know the situation of the groomers or their schedules, but I do know the miscommunication and being asked to reschedule without proper documentation of the incident is extremely inappropriate. However, Genell is taking care of my standard poodle for her grooming and advised she would advocate for my hand in the situation.

I brought in a dog toy gift given to me from my mother-in-law. Low and behold, she purchased the toy from another store as evidenced by the receipt, but it was in a PetSmart bag for whatever reason. After having a good laugh with the manager and the employee, PetSmart still unexpectedly provided an exchange of toys. With customer service like this PetSmart has won some of my future business.

Had my senior shepherd mix groomed at Sarasota store by Genelle. She was awsome! He has allergies and trouble with his ears. She did an exceptional job cleaning his ears. Best groom job he's ever had. I would highly recommend her. Very friendly and helpful.

When we got there for our grooming appt, the groomer was talking forever with one customer about her dog and someone was already waiting in line behind her. Our dogs get super nervous so the longer we had to wait the more anxious that they got. When the first customer finally left, the groomer talked to the next person in line forever. Fortunately, a second groomer came and took one of our puppies back but then we still had to wait for the first groomer to come and get our other puppy. I think we waited there for at least half an hour after our scheduled appt time waiting to get the boys in for grooming. The groomers were nice though and they had them finished in three hours time. The boys looked great after their appt. The groomer let me borrow her leash to walk one of my puppies out to the car because I forgot that our leash was in the car from where we dropped them off. The cashiers at the front were super nice. I would recommend this location.

Thank you for still having curbside pickup. Our family has several covid vulnerable people, and it is incredibly helpful to be able to get our order curbside. Thank you so much to the employees who mask when providing the order.

Went in with a new barking puppy ask a question, and I guess I wasnt a young thing the attendant didnt offer to help me. I did ask where something was n he did show me, but I wanted help to see if my pups coller was on correctly, he just kept saying train him. Then sent me back to trainer , and shes no where to b found. Went back up front another attendant ask the same guy if she was working, told her to tell me she suppose to be back there. 2nd time back of front I told the young lady there was a dog back there but no human. I told her the dog must have eaten her cause he was there laying on floor looking relaxed. I paid for my stuff n left. Tha I you RICH for losing me as a customer. I think u are rude. Off th another store. By the way Rich I'm doing well with my new puppy no thanks to you.

Banfield Hospital it's nothing but a group of greedy people who only try to upcharge you on everything they do for your beloved pet they play on your sympathy and and perhaps ignorance they play on people's emotions to get them to spend more I'm done giving them my money

Dog trainer Donna is great. Had my dog groomed. They did a very average job. Grooming was not a five star experience.

Grooming customer service is terrible. They refused to groom my dog because of her age. I have been a Petsmart grooming customer for 12 years. They just groomed her two months ago. When I called to make the appointment they had her age readily available to tell me they would not be able to groom her. I had my three-year-old child with me as well as all three of my dogs. I was on my way to a meeting and had to cancel my plans because Petsmart refused service. I will never go back.

I thought I was going there for a good deal. but the people were rude, and the animals in the shelter looked like they were Being abused, Neglected. They jacked the price of cat litter up To 19.99 for a 15 bound bag of cat litter so They can profit by saying,, It's but 1 get 1 free ,when you can get the same pounds at Walmart for 7.99 a bag. Plus they do not have any selection of cat treats, toys, outfits , or anything,Even though they're advertised in the paper.and when you ask they always say we'll get them shipped in tomorrow. I just hope they're not as rude to the animals as they are the people.

Arrived for a 5p appointment and the grooming clerk states she called over and over to come in at 4. How in the hell could one come in at 4 if a 5p appt was selected. I will never be back to this petsmart and will find a good grooming salon.

Keep your receipt and your dead fish carcasses! We are new fish owners. This was our very first fish tank. We purchased several fish from this PetSmart, the employee who sold us the fish instructed us to do weekly tank water switch outs because “fish are dirty.” We knew nothing, so we changed out all the tanks water and inevitably, all the fish died. I just called to speak to the store manager but got someone who insisted she was “a manager” who argued that none of their employees would have told us to do this BUT if we bring in our dead fish carcasses, she will be happy to replace them. Ugh wut? Thanks PetSmart - never shopping here again.

Do NOT use their grooming services. Specified the length we wanted our dogs coat, they just shaved him insanely short all around. LAZY! Go to DIY dog instead don’t waste your money.

They have at least 10 bags of cut open dry dog food in their dumpsters, and instead of at least donating it to an animal shelter they decide to cut them all open and feed the birds....makes sense
