Dr. Lantry, Technicians Andrae and Ashley and Amy and Manager Amy were incredible when my dog needed mast cell growths removed. They were so kind and compassionate and treated my dog like their own. I will forever be grateful, my dog is my life and I depend on her for mine. Thank you all so very much.

Dr Lantry is caring, and extremely knowledgeable. She's a consummate veterinarian. She takes the time to review results and effectively communicate about pet. Staff is efficient and great to work with.

Wonderful Vet Clinic. When my darling cat had to say goodbye, they were so compassionate and handled it in such a caring way. I'll be forever grateful. We also got a proper diagnosis on our cat after we switched to the Animal Medical Clinic. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

One of my dogs was over vaccinated and stared at the wall for several days and was unresponsive because of their negligence. I also took my female Chihuahua for x-rays because the veterinarian told me she had a heart murmur. He asked me to get in touch with him if she had any symptoms. Today when I called because of her coughing and symptoms they claimed he didn’t work there often although he was there today. I asked that they get a message to him that she’s having a problem. They refused to get him a message about Ella’s condition and they refused to let me get an appointment with the veterinarian. They try to get me to use another veterinarian who had not seen her. I asked for a copy of my dogs medical records but they made an excuse and did not send them to me. I sent an email requesting her records which they NEVER SENT. UPDATE: still waiting and no x-rays, because it appears even though I paid for x-rays they charged me and intentionally did not do x rays. My wonderful new Veternarian did x rays and found my dog is in stage 4 heart failure. He was shocked My dog was not on heart medication, which did completely resolve the coughing. He was aware of the poor and negligent practices of Animal medical Clinic. I remember back a few years ago when my employee and I saw one of the vet techs kicking a dog on the premises of their medical clinic. Even though we reported it to them they never did anything because they just don’t care about the animals.

I had the pleasure of bringing Dolly, one of my fur babies to the clinic for a second opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by how well we were treated. The staff are courteous, professional, and caring. The vet is knowledgeable and compassionate. It is evident that they really care about helping. I would highly recommend the Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate.

Kind and thorough staff and doctors

Been taking my dogs there for 47 years without interruption and this morning at 8am (Saturday- open 8 to noon) I called to ask to bring my dog in who has been throwing up for 24 hours ( no home remedies worked) and they told me they could not see her and go to an emergency clinic. This clinic lacks the basic understanding of what they are supposed to be. You only know how good your vet is when an emergency occurs and I just found out that this clinic is happy to take all your money when you have scheduled appointment but can’t be bothered when you really need them - IT WAS NEVER THIS WAY WITH DR. NICK, may he Rest In Peace. SHAME ON EVERYONE OF YOU WHO WORKS THERE !!!

They are punctual and very gentle and loving with the dogs when they come out to your car to get them.

We are new to Sarasota and received a very high recommendation for AMC for our two Australian labradoodles. Reggie had an ear infection, and even though we had to meet "remotely" in the parking lot given COVID-19, the entire staff was fabulous, calling us every step of the way and brought Reggie outside a much happier pup. I moved to the area recently and asked around my neighborhood for referrals and read the google and yelp reviews (all excellent) in order to select the best vet for my precious feline. Dr Lantry and her team are awesome. Dr L has been in business for a long time and is very experienced. The practice has won many local awards. I am extremely picky so know that I would never recommend anyone who was not excellent. The techs are all nice and make a huge fuss over my cat which she loves. The front desk personnel are both curteous and efficient. Recommended!!

I love this vet!! The veterinarian we see for our kitties is the best! She is quick and takes her time with you. Going over all your questions and checking your pet and explaining meds and flea treatments and such with you. Giving you all the options. They are so accommodating too. The girl at the front desk is very sweet and the techs are knowledgeable as well. Very happy to have had my cats treated there.

In the past eight years my three cats (and recent addition Labrador retriever) have consistently received the most professional and compassionate care at Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate. Dr.Lantry is excellent—knowledgeable and very kind to my pets and to me, their sometimes anxious owner. Everyone in this practice treats both pets and owners with this same kindness and respect. I am very grateful to share in this caring community.

We have been going to Animal Medical Clinic (AMC) for years. When we first started out there we lived in the neighborhood. Over the years, we moved away and we still travel for vet services at AMC. The staff is attentive, caring and they take the time to explain how to administer medication. We feel Dr. Lantry is compassionate and loving. Also important to me is that the clinic itself is clean and efficient. When we needed to see Doc. Lantry for a urinary tract infection in our cat, and did not have an appointment, the staff managed to squeeze us in. In our opinion, you could not ask for a better care! Nancy Grenier

Dr. Lantry is wonderful with animals! She cared for our last dog and now our new one. She is patient and takes the time to make sure you understand and ask questions. The staff there is ultra nice and helpful, as well. And they offer several ways to save money on your pet’s care. It’s a great place to take your pets! .

I trust Dr. Lantry and staff with all my animals, even the injured, wild ones in my path. I have been a client for more than 20 years because they are so compassionate , knowledgeable, and supportive. In the business arena, my loyalty is usually hard won, but being a client of AMC is a no brainer. My animals and I are devoted to them.
