I am a crazy cat lady, I admit it! My kitties are my babies and I spend lots of money on them. Dr. Shannon knows and understands cats not just physiologically but on an emotional and behavioral level. If you're like me and want the very very best cat care for your cats call her! She comes right to my drive with her mobile very truck and it's much less stressful for my cats. And the prices are much more reasonable than driving into a vets office. My cat has a strange swollen nose and she has been only get to actually help it without charging ridiculous money with NO results...Love them! Highly recommend this cat vet! The nicest vet! So convenient. Schedule and they show up right on your doorstep. Full services including surgery offered. My cat needed surgery. No complications at all. Very helpful with getting medications. Definitely recommend!!!

I have seen reviews that mention high prices. I have used several vets for my kitty. Dr. Shannon seems to charge the same amount as other vets. The service and facilities are way better than any other vet. I do not have to wait in a room with dogs barking, like with other vets. They have actually saved me money. They make suggestions for products that I can go to the store and buy or order from Chewy. Recently they took my kitty in for an emergency and charged me normal rates. They drop off supplies that I need, free of charge and without me asking! Dr. Shannon, Diane, and Allison handle my nervous kitty, and his nervous fur parents beautifully. I love, love, love 10th Life Mobile.

As the name suggests this is an exclusively cat practice. The hospital has cared for 6 (or 8?) of our cats over the past decade. The facility is well equipped and the vets and staff are highly competent and caring. It is typical after an annual or other exam for one of the vets to call to discuss the results with us. They do not hesitate to recommend a specialist when appropriate. We have been pleased with our association with The Cat Hospital.

I am excited about the mobile services. The worst part was getting the cat(s) there...problem solved. Dr. Shannon is an excellent cat specialty veterinarian with the most caring staff.

I am so thrilled with the care and love this staff provided to my fur baby, and the helpfulness they showed to me during the process. I booked an appointment the same morning and came in immediately with no wait. The staff was so kind and reassuring. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone with a cat. The prices were reasonable- of course any visit to the vet out of pocket isn’t cheap. But the quality of care and overall experience is worth every bit.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, my cat is crazy and needs patience when handling him, the staff does a great job at saving me money and not to mention its less than a mile from me, but I'd travel an hour to come here best vet to bring your cat.

I recently brought my cat in as a new patient and received the best care. They did a very thorough examination and explained everything. The entire staff and Dr were very friendly and both my cat & I were very comfortable there. They requested my cats file from my previous vet in tamp before arrival and new exactly what vaccinations were due (feline leukemia and rabies were due). I never felt any pressure for anything and the costs were in line with my other vet. They gave me different options & explained all the prices shard of time. I am a very happy client and will continue to take my cat to this facility. I came home & told my husband how impressed I was!!! ????

What an amazing experience we had. Our 2 yr old cat was in for her first ever grooming. The Doctor and her staff took such great care and patience with our less than calm cat. We didn't think anyone would be able to handle Allie but they did a fantastic job. Though we thought it would take her days to calm down. When we got home she got out of her carrier and was ready for a nice petting. Great job!!! Thanks again

For the last month we have brought our newfound friend to the cat hospital and have had the absolute best experience ever. The staff as well as the doctors have been extraordinary in their efforts to nurse my cat back to health and to make sure she was always taken care of. I rescued a kitten & her mom right after Thanksgiving (couple days apart). When I called The Cat Hospital to get them checked out before taking them home, I was able to get the new additions in the same day. Both mama and baby have received excellent care since day one. The doctors and the staff are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and always gives a lot care to both kitties when they go for procedures and follow ups. The waiting area & kitty rooms are very clean. Sometimes I struggle with understanding some of the charges but I know it's in the best interest of their well being. I look forward to my continued relationship with The Cat Hospital.

Professional and always ready to help

Several years ago, my little five pound Burmese kitty, Coco, SUDDENLY started to lose weight and was unable to jump or play at all. She could not stand up without falling over! I contacted my local vet and after several visits, blood work and other tests, she still continued to fail. To make matters even worse, the tests concluded there was NO medical problem. However, anyone could see there was a problem when she dipped to three pounds. Hysterical panic set in and I could not wait for Divine Intervention to help. I immediately took her to Dr. Shannon at the Cat Hospital, where she examined Coco and ran a more thorough diagnostic protocol than the other vet. It was quickly determined that Coco had a severe lower ear canal infection! Coco was immediately medicated, kept for observation and within three/four days had begun to gain a little weight. She wasn't out of the woods yet, but Dr. Shannon, and her especially wonderful Vet Tech, Diane, taught me how to syringe feed her and educated me on the instructions for extensive antibiotic care. I firmly believe Dr. Shannon literally saved Coco's life. I have continued to have complete faith in the Cat Hospital and they care for my two Ragdoll Persians, as well. The other vet, Dr. Lee, has also been involved in the care of my three, and I have complete confidence in her abilities, as well. I will tell anyone who will listen that the Cat Hospital is the absolute best in feline care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cat Hospital of Tampa Bay.

Dr Shannon & Allison are a great team. I've brought my special old cat, Sandy, to them multiple times. As the prices are HIGH, the care of service received is wonderful! Just decide for yourself what you can do for your cat per the quote. Start with the needs over extras. If special products are needed, check Amazon or a store first for better prices to save money. They are specialist and have always been spot on with Sandy's medical attention. I appreciate the kind vet care and all their hard work on my fur baby.
