Continual long waits for hours. With the same excuses.

I brought my cat, Macaroni, in today to be seen. Everyone there was so kind and so wonderful. They were great with Macaroni, even though he was pretty nervous. Dr. DeStefano was awesome. It was really nice being able to go inside with Macaroni too, that made the whole experience better. Thank you all so much! I definitely recommend Bay Moorings! (Also, a photo of Macaroni)

We moved here with 3 senior dogs, knowing that they were going to need extra special care, but trying to accept that only so much can be done sometimes. However, Dr. Trevz and his amazing staff has vastly improved and possibly saved all 3 of our furry kids over the past 10 months. One beagle had elevated panting, appetite, aggression with food, and was restless. They discovered thyroid problems that went undetected by her previous vets, but must have been present for several years given her behavioral issues. SHE IS A NEW DOG. At 9 years of age, she just found out that she loves digging and chasing squirrels! Her panting and food aggression have also resolved. Our second beagle was found to have a tumor on her cheek that was successfully surgically removed and metastases were ruled out. Our rescued daushaund needed several teeth removed, even though he had a similar procedure shortly before we moved here. He has been more playful, not so quick tempered, and is back to giving kisses. While each pet is individual and not all situations are the same, we have had nothing but the most professional, competent, kind, and courteous service of any vet we have ever trusted with our pets. Very pleased with them I did bring both my animals to them for a while unfortunately I had to put the oldest one down just a few weeks ago and I'll tell you they made it so pleasant for me just a great staff thank you for being so supportive

Dr. Casler is great. He truly cares about your furbaby. Very professional and compassionate. He examined my kitty, Stella, then explained everything in detail, offered his professional opinion and options. As he provided me with options, he was honest about the outcome. He answered every single question of mine. No question was left unanswered. Everyone there is respectful and professional. Great place!

I arrived to pick up some medicine for our dog. When I called the number to get my dogs medicine, it stated the clinic was closed. In fact it wasn't closed but the clinic was having a staff meeting in the middle of the day! They didn't change the voice mail to state there was a meeting. There were a total of 9 people in their cars waiting in the lot, confused and upset, as was I! Why would you have a staff meeting in the middle of the day!! This could have taken place after work! Shutting a business down in the middle of the day, is by far a terrible choice! We waited in our vehicles for 40 minutes! As, I walked up to the door after noticing an individual moving around, she opened the door and asked what the purpose of my visit was. I explained to her the reason. As, she looked out and saw everyone else waiting, she stated: Everyone is here all of a sudden as she threw her arms up, in the air, like it was an inconvenience that we were there! After waiting another ten minutes for the medicine another tech came out to ask what I was waiting for. I explained again the reason for my visit. It, seems some of your staff has poor communication skills, and look at those who are there to patronize your establishment are an inconvenience! Disappointed in the customer service. Disappointing in the fact a business that looks very busy would have a staff meeting in the middle of the day! Not impressed at all! You get a zero out of ten!

Time and time again I am sick of being made to wait for over one hour just to see the vet. This seems to be common practice for the past 7 years I have been taking all of my dogs to this place. The last visit I waited an hour and a half …

I'm new to the area and hadn't established my pets with a veterinarian yet. But my Lab got an ear infection and Bay Mooring Animal Hospital got us in the same day and took excellent care of my fur baby. Highly recommend

I feel like it's easy to find a cheap pet clinic or an over-priced vet but not easy to find great, reliable vet for a reasonable price which is EXACTLY what I have found with Bay Moorings. When I moved to St Pete and was heart broken to leave my vet back home, we found a clinic to do the routine, annual things but when our pets have been sick we didn't get the care we would hope for from them. After a misdiagnosis in a rush I had to find a vet and thankfully Bay Moorings was where we ended up. They are amazing - they understand the panic and remain calm when I cannot. They always discuss pricing before they just treat and shock you with the bill after. They always give you options and reassure you when you aren't certain about what choice to make. Awesome service. Clear communication. Doc called to give me a run down on our dogs check-up, he had to be nicest sounding guy. They are still offering curb-side due to covid. 2 women came out to give our dogs a quick shot. It was the fastest, easiest, best experience.

I can not say enough good things about Bay Moorings. We took our Pug Bosch there for boarding over Thanksgiving. This was our first time leaving him and felt very uneasy. Well Mark was great. He sent us texts on how Bosch was doing and even some photos and video's. That gesture made us feel at ease and we knew he was in great hands. To say Mark went over and beyond is an understatement. He was amazing. We also use this wonderful vet as well. I love them all. Thank you again Mark and Bay Moorings group you are all awesome.

I recently moved to the area and am thrilled to have found Dr. Trefz and Bay Moorings. The selection of a highly credentialed vet was very important to me. My vet back home helped me through his channels with this decision and within a few days, he guided me to Dr. Trefz because of his 36 years of experience, he is well respected by his industry peers and known for his comprehensive experience, advanced medicine and surgery skills. I requested him for my first visit and he was amazing! The front desk and my technician were sharp and friendly. They have a kennel and grooming here too so my pet bases are covered! Their fees are very reasonable and lower than I anticipated given the vast experience across doctors here!

These people are amazing. previously have had 2 dogs pass on. They were just amazing. Compassionate, caring, helpful. They were so great taking care of our pups as they aged and went on hard times. Now we have 2 younger pups and the amazing care continues. Dr. D, Melissa and everyone else there... well they take care of us. that simple. We are well taken care of. My dogs love going there... and we are always happy to see them when we go too. Great people, great service. You have to try them out!

Bay Moorings is the best!!! I have been a client at Bay Moorings for over 7 years. I have always had the utmost trust in Dr. Trefz, Dr. Destefano, and Dr. Plummer. As a nurse I know what to look for in a quality doctor, and Bay Moorings has them!! All the staff is super friendly and know be by name when I come in. Their prices are fair and reasonable. They have high quality service without the high fees! From start to finish my appointments always run smoothly and my pets enjoy seeing the staff because the staff truly enjoy caring for my pets!

Love love love love love this place. They do all they can by fitting pets in as soon as possible. They listen to all your concerns, explain everything they are doing and why, they are mindful, just overall amazing people the second you walk in. They genuinely care about your pet and YOU! I am so grateful for this place and the people.

Great care for your animals.... Everyone is very professional!!!!!!

Friendly service and decent care. Overpriced on flea/ticks meds. I don’t mind paying a tad more to support local but same med online $50 there it was $75. Wish I checked online first. Also was double charged for something awhile back...not on purpose I’m quite sure but best to doublecheck bill before you pay and get a receipt.

The quality and treatment provided makes Debo's experience feel right at home and loved. Thank you all.
