I could not be more pleased with Dr Russell and his clinic. I agreed to watch my daughter's cat while she was living out of state for a while, but when she returned she would not take Peanut back. My husband and I tried scratching posts, "Purdy Paws," everything - but Peanut just continued to destroy all of my furniture. It was a difficult decision to make, but I finally decided I would find a vet who could perform a laser declaw surgery rather than make her an outside cat. Dr. Russell did an outstanding job! Peanut was simply sleepy (no overt pain) when she first returned home and fully recovered during her one week with the sutures and "halo." She now has no signs or symptoms of any pain - she uses her litter pan, uses her paws to "knead," jumps between surfaces, etc. I love animals, but if it gets to the point of having to have a laser declaw (humans undergo surgeries, after all) and forcing your cat to be an outdoor cat, I highly recommend a laser declaw by Dr. Russell. Our cat is just as happy as she was before the surgery, and she would have been miserable outdoors. In my opinion, laser declaw is sometimes the most humane option and if it you decide it is the best option for you and your cat, I encourage you not allow others to shame you.

I just want to say excellent job on my puppies ear crop!!! Titan looks amazing!!! Dr Miller and his staff are top notch, professional, friendly, compassionate and just all around a great vet. They were very informative from start to finish on the process. I would use them for all my vet needs but an hour away I unfortunately cannot make that trip often. Thank you guys!!!

They literally saved my kittens life today. We had taken our kitten to another vet yesterday because it's breathing was very labored. It wasn't eating. It wasn't cleaning itself. It wasn't going to the bathroom. It was just sitting there. This other vet just took it's temperature and saw it had a fever. They prescribed antibiotics and said 'I think she has lost the will to live she probably only has a day or two left' and just sent my wife on her way. No other testing was suggested or tried. So today, she was even worse. We wanted another opinion, and we couldn't just sit and watch this little girl die. We decided if there was nothing else to be done - we needed to end her suffering at least. They took her in immediately, and the doctor did an x-ray and saw she has fluid all around the outside of her lungs, she was literally being suffocated slowly. They extracted the fluid, and sent us with more antibiotics. But my little kitten who literally wasn't even walking really - was now walking around, she ate a bunch of food, drank some water, went to the bathroom, cleaned herself up, and is doing so much better! Her breathing isn't back to 100% but she at least has some hope now. THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

Love this place Dr.Russel and his staff has taken care of our fur family for 14+ years. Kind to our loved ones from young to the unbearable life experience and on to our new fur babies so hopefully they have them again for another 14 .

Dr Kevin Russell and staff have taken great care of my dogs for 13 years. It is a little bit expensive, but what isn't? I can tell that they really care about their animal's that they treat. Thanks to the entire co workers.

Dr. Russell is an excellent, very competent vet and I trust him. He's guided me through open heart surgery for my dog and a variety of unusual issues with her. As we traveled out of the country for a year and a half, he continued to give me advice and guidance for our dog's health. He's a really nice guy who cares a lot about his patients and their owners.

Dr. Russell took care of my 19 1/2 year old cat for years and my kitty had some complicated medical issues as he got older. I find Dr. Russell to be trustworthy, compassionate, and knowledgeable. All of his staff is friendly too. Recently, my current kitty had hot spots and Joelly cleaned them up so well that I was shocked how much better they looked.

If you go to another Vet you are missing out on hands down by the far best vet in town. Not only is Doctor Russell, knowledgeable but he is extremely caring for your animals. He’s the best vet I’ve ever been too! I have 3 dogs and the care he provides is top notch.

I'm very thankful for the care they provide to my pets since 2005. I consider Dr. Russell and staff to be an extension of my family.

This vet has been with me through the loss of two cats and are always so kind. They don't do unnecessary tests and the prices are decent. The front desk staff are all very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Dr. Russell, He found diabetes in one of our cats right away and it is being managed well. Overall a great vet!

Beware of Pancreatitis! I had no idea what this disease was and how it would effect my best friend. Abby was loved by everyone who new her. She left home to visit Dr. Russell on a Tuesday morning as happy and loving as normal. We were taking her because she vomited 2 or 3 times and we wanted to get her checked out. She jumped in the car excitedly looking forward to her car ride. Next thing I know she has this awful disease and Diabetes. The Doctor recommended she stay overnight and get IV fluids. The following day we called the office to hear she hasn't gotten any better and she needs plasma and we should come to the office and see her. We came after work around 5:15 pm to see her laying in a create not psychically able to move! She was on pain medication to the point that she lifted her head when she heard my voice and it just fell down out of the crate and she couldn't put it back in the crate without help. At that moment I honestly felt that she could die if I didn't get her out of there. I asked if anyone was going to care for her overnight and the answer was NO. But I didn't know what to do or how to care for this situation, the Doctor had already left and she was hooked up to an IV. I left her there against my better judgement and somehow she made it threw the night. We get a call in the morning and was told to come get her and take her to the hospital. She was so drugged she couldn't walk. When she got there her heart stopped beating, the doctor revived her and called us to come back. By the time we got back she had coded again and had an aneurysm which burst in her lungs. She died instantaneously before we could say goodbye. Let me say Dr. Russell has taken care of her and her brothers for years and we have been very happy that's why the 2 stars, but I think they over-medicated her and basically her heart stopped. I honestly believe that sometimes vet's are so concerned about the animal's pain level that they go overboard. Honestly she left my house and neither myself or my husband believed she was in pain, we thought something didn't agree with her tummy. No one knew Abby like I did and there was no way she was in the kind of pain that required pain medicine that put you in a comatose state. Now she's DEAD. I'm in shock I still can't believe it. I NEVER expected her to die, we had no idea. Maybe the Doctors should base the animals pain level on what the owners believe it to be. You can always increase the amount but once given it can't be taken away. I recommend that if your animal gets a serious diagnosis find a specialist immediately if you can, it might save your loved ones life.

I have been going to Dr. Russell since my bulldog Sam was a puppy. He is now 2 years old. My very first meeting of him was when Sam was sick as a puppy and I needed medical attention asap. The clinic has always been willing to see me even when not scheduled. I was able to bring him straight in without any appointment to be seen right away. Since then, I recently had a cat diagnosed with sarcoma in his paw that required amputation of the entire limb. I was a nervous wreck but I trusted Dr. Russell with my whole heart that day in successfully removing not just the limb but the sarcoma. Since then Tigger, has fully recovered and adapted to three limbs. There was absolutely no complications of post surgical infections. I am very grateful for their professionalism, exceptional service, and willingness to take care of my family at the drop of a notice. The staff has always been pleasant and Sam has always been excited to go visit them. I also love to see their family pets throughout the clinic when we visit. It's a family centered clinic where you can express your concerns and opinions and receive great feedback and recommendations for the treatment of you pet. Bulldogs have a lot of needs that other dogs do not have, our biggest issue is allergies, skin conditions, and diet. Dr. Russell has proven himself time and time again with his expertise of the treatment of bulldogs specific medical issues. We are honestly so happy to have him and his staff as part of our family!

Dr. Russell and his staff are the best. We have gone through some significant procedures this year with our two dogs. One a ACL repair and one and foreign object removal (stomach surgery). The communication and service we have received is amazing. We drove them nuts with questions and worry and they always put our mind at easy. We will never go anywhere else.
