Dr. Simmons has treated all of our dogs, and now our cat, with compassion and excellent veterinary care for close to 15 years. I would recommend anyone establish care with Animal Wellness Center if you have a dog or cat.

Dr. Simmons is an excellent veterinarian! He is always wonderful with our two cats. The front staff is awesome, they always pick up when we call and can fit us when things are dire. We’ve been taking our two cats here for a few years now and intend to do so as long as possible!

We love Dr Simmons and his staff! We have taken all of our pets to him for over 15 years at 2 different locations. He’s the only vet for us.

We have had a lot of vets, but Dr Simmons is a real find. He is knowledgeable and intuitive yet science based. Clearly loves animals (most vets do of course) and has done a remarkable job keeping our three senior canines not just alive but enjoying a reasonably good quality of life. When I see the occasional bad review the subtext seems to be that Dr. Simmons didn't tell the human client what they wanted to hear.

First visit on 3/6/21 and the staff was friendly, helpful and professional! Dr. Simmons gave my Pomeranian a thorough exam and answered all of my questions! He also gave me useful tools to help our fur baby, Leo, lose the extra COVID pounds! Very pleased with this Vet and have peace of mind that Dr. Simmons is over-seeing my pet's care!

Dr. Steve and his staff of wonderful pet caregivers have cared for my current and previous dogs with expertise, compassion, and caring! All my current dog has to hear is that we are visiting Dr. Steve and he jumps in the car in excitement.

My absolute favorite vet! We’ve been seeing him for 7 years now and they treat my cat like family. They aren’t pushy with treatments like most vets. They have the pet’s best interest at heart. The staff are complete gems! Would never go anywhere else! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.

My 14 year old dog was panting heavily. I had to wait three days for an appt. Dr. Simmons told me to force feed her and give her antibiotics. I did what he said. She did not get better. He never addressed the issue of dehydration which is what killed her. In addition, towards the end when I insisted on intervenous antibiotics because she was throwing the other ones up and intravenous hydration he told me he doesn’t do that. He sent me to an emergency center because I insisted but by that time my dog’s kidneys were completely shut down and I had to put her to sleep. This is a well baby vet. . This is not a vet you want to go to if your animal is sick.
