Love the vets and their staff

I took my 3 rabbits for an overdue "wellness" check....and decided it was time to drive the 30 mins to see the "best" ( as touted by the rabbit savvy community)....Dr. Ferris. Not cheap but definitely the most thorough check up they've had. Caught an ear issue in my lop that hadn't made my attention and it's now time for a molar grind on my lionhead. (It takes magic to see inside that tiny mouf!) The lop also has arthritis issues and I was impressed with the options presented for treatment. Being a holistic rabbit Mom, drugs aren't my go to and the options suggested show that this Vet keeps up with current research and technology. Pain meds have a time and place but also have side effects. I appreciate that this Vet offers solutions for the very best wellness of an animal that notoriously hides illness.

Not a good first time experience for my bunny. Wanted to get it spayed but got a pneumonia diagnosis, x-rays, and tooth shaving instead. First was the "pre" visit charge, then the surgery...was told the bunny had stopped breathing during the procedure so they had to revive her. Then they told my wife she may have pneumonia and that they need to have x-rays to check her lungs. We get her back and her eyes are all matted down with tears...broke my heart...in total close to 400 dollars, and she's still not spayed. It'll be another 200-300 dollars if we go back to finish.

What an amazing vet office! Dr. Ferris is hands down the best vet I have ever encountered, always thinking outside the box for my dog. She has tons of digestive, allergy and back/knee issues. Dr. Ferris takes care of all of them with patience and kindness and a whole lot of experience. We even went today for a chiropractic adjustment as my dog had a rib out of place and Dr. Ferris and our favorite tech, Ashley, handled her with care and compassion. Love this office!

I brought my cat in for an emergency. I liked how the doctor explained all of my options and the reasoning behind each treatment path. The doctor listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions in detail. Over the course of my cat's recovery, they called several times to check on his progress. I'm happy to say that my cat is better now. I know what to look out for in the future if this problem occurs again. I'm so thankful to Coastal Animal Hospital for their knowledge, thoroughness, and kindness.

The staff here take such wonderful care of my cats! Polite, kind, and they always go above and beyond!

It's on the expensive end, but if that's okay they're as good as it gets in the county. Dr. Ferris stayed with us late at night when we had to put our dog down, it was very nice of her.

This is the best animal clinic in Brevard county, (I would say all Florida), hands down. The doctors and the technicians are great, they take the time to talk to you and explain what's going on. I've had several problems with my older Maltese, and they pulled them through. I trust them completely and you will to.

Our experience with Coastal Animal Hospital couldn’t have been better. From our initial phone call, speaking with Eileen, to our scheduled appointment this afternoon with Kaya, the technician, and Dr. Juliana Cafiero. We’ve lived in Melbourne Beach for many years. It’s been extremely difficult to find a veterinarian that was not only knowledgeable but caring. We encountered a potential health emergency with our 15 year old orange tabby, Gracie, last Thursday. An appointment was scheduled for this afternoon, but we received very helpful information and a plan in the event her condition worsened over the weekend. Today, we were warmly greeted by everyone. It was apparent that everyone truly cares about animals and we felt their concern for our little baby! Kaya and Dr. Juliana took so much time to gather information, listened to all of her history and our concerns for her present problems. They referenced information they received from her veterinarian in North Carolina. We were thrilled with the medical expertise and the diagnostic plan that was given to us. We were certain that we made the right decision to visit Coastal Animal Hospital. We were impressed and appreciated the kindness, concern and care of the entire medical team! Many thanks to all!
