My name Dyan Brandon I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and 1 horse Dr Angela Compton takes care of my big fellow. After my daughter passed away I brought my 2 little grand puppies in and her cat. They were amazing helping me get everything together and a program one has cardiac problems and had surgery at uf. Which after her exam from uf last year said she is doing remarkable. They are friendly and loving there were times I totally broke down in front of them and they help me pass the moment. 4 years ago we lost our beloved gizmo they heart and humanity they showed was unbelievable as well as the Furneral home Haisley in fp. I am blessed to have both in our lives. Your more than a number your family here

Great place! Called for an appointment and got in the same day. When I got there everyone was so nice and compassionate, you could tell everyone really likes animals. They kept me informed and comfortable. I will be going back.

Friendly. But very pricey for a standard dog neuter

My 2 dog's had to have their annual check ups done& they were wonderful! Very caring. Then I had to remove 4 of my Chihuahuas teeth on this past Monday they were wonderful again highly recommend them!

I was so happy with the staff and for getting me in same day, my dog was so sick and I was able to bring him here even though I had never been to this place before. I just moved here and don’t have a vet set up yet. Thank you!

Great care and knowledge was exemplified by the staff of Prima Vista Animal Hospital. My dog Midnight had to go in for a cystotomy. I felt safe knowing my pup was in good hands. She's home on the road to recovery.

The vets and techs, even the receptionist, are all exceptionally friendly and professional. I really feel like they care about me and my pets. They took great care of my cat, even with curbside service. They were personable and empathetic and the vet came out to my car personally to let me know what she thought and to listen to my concerns. They took into consideration what I had to say and looked into my concerns. They were thorough and quick to jump onto any concerns they had to get ahead of any issues, especially since my cat is older now. I’m so glad I chose to come to Prima Vista for my cat’s care.

Brought my high anxiety semi aggressive dog ( hit by a car a few years ago) and they were great. They were able to hold her so she could get updated on all her vaccines. They were extremely professional and knew when to call it and say they were not comfortable doing another part of the exam because my dog was getting too anxious. Overall my dog didn't like the place for obvious reasons but I would recommend this hospital for anyone

Dr. Alexio is the best vet we have ever had treat our pets. Her staff is as competent and compassionate as she is. She is the reason we go to Prima Vista. Our beagle babies KAHLUA and BLUE and big cat HARLEY D ❤????????

They Love Buddha and Chai, and do everything they need at every visit. Everyone is Great with our dogs. We get the best treatment there???? Thanks Carolyn and Adam

Dr was amazing. I had been praying for my sons cat bc she was sick and it was going to be expensive...10 minutes later they called and said she has asthma and it was treated for a lot less than originally quoted. They were so kind and understanding. I don't know what i would have done if something had happened to his sweet Pika. I love that vet.

We had an appointment because our dog was bleeding a lot. We took our dog here and after the appointment they didn’t patch him up or wrap up his wounds. They gave us to him back the way he got in. He still continues to bleed because the Vet didn’t simply put a bandage on him. Never will bring my dog here again. Not professional.

Love the doctor and staff

They were the nicest people. They diagnosed my Dog with allergies. The Dr came out to talk to me. Even called the next day to see how Dingo was. A new wonderful bet for my dog

We had a good experience with Prima Vista Animal Hospital. We were new clients. They were efficient and handled our sometimes-difficult German Shepherd with love and care. We will keep going back there

Good Vets, HORRIBLE grooming. I've been taking my puppy here since we got him and I've had no issues until I made the catastrophic mistake of making him a grooming appointment. I brushed him out before I took him in and let the groomer know he had a little knot around his collar. She agreed that he didn't look matted and it shouldn't be an issue. An hour and a half later she called to inform me that his fur was super matted and she would have to cut his hair shorter than we agreed upon. I asked if she could brush it out to remove the matting and let her know I was aware there was a dematting fee. She said that she couldn't do anything and that the only solution was to cut his hair. I reluctantly agreed and asked her to please leave it as long as she could. When I went to pick up my puppy I was told that I was being charged for a dematting fee, which I questioned since she told me she couldn't demat his hair. She claimed that even though it says dematting fee it's mostly for wear and tear on equipment. Who charges extra for using their own equipment? I didn't want to argue so I payed and asked her to bring me my dog. When he came out he was all but shaved bald. I was so upset that she butchered my dogs hair and then on top of that had the nerve to charge me extra for "dematting" which she admittedly never did. I think she just didn't want to do the work so she just shaved him but she still wanted the extra money so she went ahead and charged me the extra fee. UPDATE : Management has reached out to me and told me they will address the issue with the groomer and issued a refund. I've updated rating for this.

The vet was very informative with my pet's health & treatment.

My shihtzu wasn't breathing properly and after a day or so of watching I followed the recommendation of someone to Prima Vista Animal Hospital. They were SUPERB! They took me within the hour due to the nature of the problem and the service, caring/compassion, and everything about this place was incredible. The vet took the time to explain and map out a plan of action. I was visiting in Florida and they are NOT my regular vet, obviously, but I couldn't have been more impressed by the level of care I received here. KUDOS to the entire staff!!! Your baby will be in good hands here!
