We have had Dr. Kluth as our veterinarian for many years. Both she and her staff are absolutely AMAZING and provide the utmost care and compassion for every stage of our fur babies lives. Her practice does a fantastic job of providing excellent quality care, professionalism, accommodating on an emergency basis and experience unlike no other!!! Thank you Dr. Kluth and staff for all that you do to care for both your patients and their families!!!❤️

I am gratefull they were able to accommodate my same day visit, as my 18 year old cat's back legs suddenly gave out on her earlier that morning, and I really needed to get her assessed. It was very concerning. They weren't able to get me in right away but were able to see her about three hours later. The Dr seemed knowledgeable and nice, she asked to take blood pressure and blood work. I agreed as this seemed typical.. Dr wasn't sure what caused issue with legs but agreed to discuss blood work the next day. Dr called next morning and said no abnormalties shown except very high thyroid level, and prescribed daily medication. Dr said not likely the cause of leg issue, but certainly needed to be addressed. I'm still unfortunately very concerned why her legs gave out, as something is wrong, and it will most likely happen again. Dr said to video next time, which I will try to do. However, I was very surprised that they charged me almost $100 for the office visit and $52 for blood pressure. So about $150 for basic visit, plus blood work of about $160. I believe they charged me almost double price, and charged as a walk in emergency. Which I was not. I am not a new patient to VCA, however this was my first time at the PO location. Needless to say, I was shocked and broke after my over $300 bill. After a very stressfull morning, this was unbelievable to me, but I had no choice but to pay it. I feel that this was excessive and I was a bit taken advantage of due to my situation, and disappointed that no fees were explained to me prior.

I recently took my 20 year old cat speedy to them. It was i think the best experience at a veterinary clinic i ever had. They were awesome, very professional and had reasonable pricing.. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

Love the Dr.and staff..they treat my animals as they would their own.. 4/13/21 ..Once again they are awesome..thank you so much for making Buddy feel better.. 10 stars !!!!

I can’t say enough kind words about the staff at this place! I brought my dog in as an emergency and he needed to be put to sleep, unfortunately! They gave us all the time we wanted and let us be there every step of the way! ???????????????? Update: when we picked up the cremains, it was in a soft blue bag, with tissue paper in the top! We got it home and when we opened it up, our hearts exploded with gratitude! They made a paw ???? print, took a nose print (like you would someone’s finger print), cut us a lock of his hair (he was a sheep dog, we have plenty left over) lol, they also put a brass coated name plate in there, along with his “death certificate”. Such a beautiful thing for us to have to remember our boy! ????????????

The best Veterinarian that I have ever been to. This is a Vet that you can actually talk to you in between visits if your pet has a problem. Staff is awesome and very knowledgeable.

Called to schedule new patient, unfortunately they were at full capacity - they gave me the info for another one of their locations in ormond (which I appreciated but too far for me) very friendly and professional staff!

Dr Kluth is the greatest.

We took our cat in that was losing weight quickly and was concerned. Kitty was diagnosed with fatty liver disease after a blood test. The only thing Dr Kleuth said was that it was fatal, and kitty had a shortened life. Nothing else! According to information we found online, the Vet is supposed to provide a specific diet to help recover the liver with "aggressive feeding" of easy digestible food (wet food) with high protein, fats, and antioxidants to reduce stress on the liver. Depending on how severe, the Vet is supposed to offer hospitalization and an implanted feeding tube until the cat can eat on its own and recover. Dr Kleuth is terrible at giving helpful information you need to save your pet with any life threatening disease. You have to do research and demand specific services. They will not tell you anything other than the obvious, this goes with most vets I've visited, and its a disgrace. We even ordered Denamarin from them, a supplement used to help the liver recover itself, and even she didn't recommend it from the beginning! Do your research first if your pet is diagnosed with any disease, if you don't know anything about it, don't rely on Vets to tell you anything.

We are new dog owners and we were so pleased with our experience at DeLand Animal Hospital of Port Orange. The staff and veterinarian were so kind and she talked us through our shelter pup’s behavior issues and reassured us the whole visit. I highly recommend this practice!

Did not go to VCA . Went next door to Weight Watchers.

I started using Deland Hospital of Port Orange about 6 years ago. A good friend recommended Dr. Kluth. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. I trust her for all of my pets.

I'm thankful that my husband was referred to this clinic. This is our first time here. They are a small clinic that seems to care for the animals and their humans. With the pandemic, they are operating on a curbside service detail. It is a different experience but the vet techs and the doctor were very nice and helpful. My pup is needing a dental cleaning and I feel they will treat him well before, during, and after.

I called yesterday to get my golden doodle in for an ear infection. Twice phone disconnected with user busy so I went online and the first available appt for an ear infection is November 25th (2 weeks for an infection ????) so I kept trying til I got them by phone and the earliest was Nov 18th (which is better than the 25th) but seriously ???? 5-12 days my dog has to wait with an ear infection????? I pay a couple hundred dollars for a yearly visit and 40+ every month for heart and flea meds and they have no compassion for my dog and think it’s ok for him to suffer for 5-12 days with an ear infection!!!! That shows me they truly are NOT AT ALL about CARING for our pets. This was the 2nd time we have needed them for the well-being of our pet. The 1st time we needed them was an allergic reaction to something he ate that made him very lethargic but it was on a Monday and we drove there to find out they had no Vets available on Mondays so we rushed him to the Animal Hospital on Nova and Madeline. THIS IS NOT A VETERINARIAN YOU CAN COUNT ON unless it’s just WANT to pay them for yearly healthy visits. I give them O stars!

Dr. Kluth and the staff at this location are always so wonderful. Dr. Kluth is by far the most knowledgeable veterinarian I have ever met. She seems to stay up to date with new research and findings. I am always impressed with what she knows in regards to breed specific conditions in dog breeds that aren’t the most common. She takes the time to explain what is going on with my dogs, and every question is answered. We never feel rushed with our appointments, even if they were made last minute. All of the employees there are gentle and patient with our dogs. This is very much appreciated, as our dogs come from abused backgrounds. We always recommend this location to our friends, and will continue to visit them as long as we are in the area.

They were so caring and gentle with my sons dog. What really impressed us is they called after a few days to check how how she was doing. Will definitely recommend!!

Due to the Covid-19 situation our visit turned out better than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful and when the vet called me to give me her findings she was very clear explaining everything to me. I would highly recommend them.

We have a rescue who was nervous of others. They handled her very carefully and she now loves then.

During the tome of COVID 19 Maleficent and I were lucky enough to discover DeLand Animal Hospital in Portland Orange. They were both kind and efficiently researched Maleficent’s issue. They are our new vet!!

This Vet Office makes you feel like you are their only customer. Wonderful caring people work there, never rushed and crazy, and they take as much time as you need to discuss your pet's issues and concerns. I was referred by a family member and I am grateful to have had such a great experience.

Our Alaskan Malamute had a pesky wart removed. Their friendly care and professionalism was genuine. Not to mention, affordable. Thanks for the great care!
