Just Paws Animal Hospital Pembroke Pines, Florida

What can I say I am super excited about having a new puppy. I just recently moved to Pembroke Pines and I was looking at local veterinarians. I came across “Just Paws” and I decided to give it a try, hence the reviews are pretty good. I wasn’t very fond of the shopping center however I did not let that discourage me. My fiancé and I parked vehicle and I noticed a sign. The sign was quite an eyesore I wouldn’t expect to sign like that considering this a medical clinic. The sign reminded me of a bad science fair project. I will attach photo as well. My fiancé calls the number on the sign and the young lady brings us the paperwork that we need to fill out. As I proceed to fill out the paperwork she approaches my vehicle. She asked me was I done with the paperwork, mind you not even five minutes had passed of me actually retrieving the document. I assume she was just eager for my business which made me happy. I’ve finished my paperwork and handed it to her. She told me you can give me the dog now. I was quite flabbergasted, I was not aware that I was going to be giving a Stranger my pet without even being properly introduced the Doctor Who will be handling the health care of my puppy. I thought that it was very informal and not professional. I understand the chaos that the pandemic has caused us in the past year and a half however this should not come between me meeting my potential vet. I would’ve loved to be properly introduced to the doctors handling my pet. I don’t know about you guys but I wouldn’t just hand my pet to someone. Do doctors just consult peoples pets/children’s without properly being introduced I don’t think so. I asked the young lady to please ask whoever is in charge that if I can come inside to see what was going to be done to my pet. She gave me a sarcastic remark and told me she would let me know, her attitude already rubbed me the wrong way. I politely asked her if this was a regular protocol and she responded don’t you see everyone in their vehicles with their pets? Obviously not lady especially considering that I’m a new client. Were you hired to scare off new patients? If so you’re doing an outstanding job. She went inside I’m guessing to “ask”. She took about 10 minutes and my fiancé and I made the executive decision to not proceed. We asked one of the other staff members to return my paperwork and we left. I’m sure the doctors here doing outstanding job however your staff or that specific staff member really turned me off. Not only am I a veteran in the United States Army, I work with people on daily basis. Approach and customer service is very important. Horrible experience. Get your act together front desk lady. ????

Once again I can say this is the best veterinarian I've taken my pets. You can be sure your pet will get quality care and not overpriced.

This veterinary office was stellar. The staff is very compassionate. Safe Covid practices. Though my dog passed away (at no fault of theirs) ... they explained his condition very well to me, how it affected him and the process to put him to rest (which we ultimately decided on due to his suffering). I couldn't have asked for better care for our dog.

I have recently started to take Faith my 15 year old Jack Russell to this Vet and so far they have bend over backwards to help without charging an exuberant amount of money. They are passionate on helping Faith that has several problems at her elevated age. The doctor here has been curious and you can tell they care about their patients. Oh yeah and they have taken Faith in on last minute notice. Thank you for all you do.

Amazing team with real professionals who know what they are doing. My dog loves to come to this place. They really make the impossible to provide you with the best service.

I love this Vet! They are honest, super kind and caring and never try to guilt me into anything unnecessary for my pets. I find their prices very reasonable as well.

The best vet on the planet! Seriously. Dr. John really shows he cares and the added bonus is that the price is always fair. I will NEVER take my Chewy anywhere else! He will treat him till his dieing days. Thank you Dr. John and th4 staff as well

The staff and the Veterinarian were very kind and professional handling my senior dog all the way until he passed.

After a bad experience with another vet last week, this place was the answer to my prayers! I came with itemized list of 3 things I wanted to go over. Nothing major- shots needed to be updated, a prior medical issue I wanted to discuss and a behavior issue my cat has. Dr. Stacey called me while waiting outside (standard procedure now) and she really took her time to speak with me and answer all my questions. She recommended some calming spray for my cat and really made me feel at ease. The staff was gentle putting the carrier in and out of the car for me, it was purring rain that day and I didn't even have to get out of my car. I hope to meet Dr. Stacey at some point!

My go to vet, friendly staff and prices are low when compared to other vet offices.

My whole life I have had pets and gone to many vets, but none like this one. I rescued two newborn kittens who I needed help with and Dr. John Eccher, along with April, helped me so much! By far this is one of the best vets I have ever been to. The whole staff really cares about the animals, they are wonderful individuals, and they do everything they can to help you. I’m very grateful for everything they have done for me and I highly recommend everyone to go here because your pet will be in great hands.

My Mercedes was diagnosed with kidney infection after she vomited 2days ago and was weak from not eating. She was given IV fluid and antibiotics. The next day she started to recover. Now she looks 100% better.

A regular here for 8 years. Dr John and Dr Staci have been so good to all our animals. They truly care and recommend good treatments. Thank you!

I’ve dealt with many other animal hospitals, and just paws is the best. Although nothing serious, others charge ridiculous amount of money every time you visit with your sick pet. There are many shady animal doctors. Not with Just Paws. Doctor is extremely knowledgeable, and wont bombard your pet with unnecessary procedures and medicines. I trust them 100%
