I made an appointment for some lesions on my dogs behind to be checked out, I let my mom take the do to the appointment. Total waste of time, they did not even take a sample ..... worried about upsetting my dog? Well I would think a professional can get a sample from a dog. Thanks for nothing but a waste of time and money.

For the last 12 years, my cat used to be a patient of the Vet clinic of Palm Harbor . While going there , He was always labeled as a “temperamental cat” or “mean cat”. which I wasn’t happy about it. Labeling people or pets usually make me very upset. My cat is sweet to me , he has a personality, he is funny sometimes and he loves my family. Because my cat was “special”, They always wanted to sedate him during appointments and charge me more money . I kept on going because it was convenient and I considered them like my kid’s pediatrician. I kept hating when every time I went, the first thing they told me was … “well you know he has his temper” . 6 months ago, my cat got sick , and they finally told me “ well you can give him this pill to relax him before his follow up appointment“ , and finally by miracle he did great during his follow up appointment . So, in conclusion, it took them 11 years to relax my cat with a single cheap pill before his appointments, instead of reminding me that he was sassy - spicy or mean , and it was hard to check him out. On top of that, front desk has been rude lately . The last two times I was there, staff at the front desk had an attitude. And, I don’t go there for free , I paid my bill in full and It hasn’t been cheap . Well, my “I am done” moment was last week, when I call to schedule an appointment , and Staff being rude again told me that there were no open appointments on “week days” for the next 3 weeks. Ok people , I asked this staff to give me an app any hour during the week because I have few days off. Yes, I didn’t call three months ahead, but who does. I am not sure. They simply told me “Nothing was available”- “We are busy” !!! . I am guessing they probably didn’t like me because I have the “mean” cat. Sadly, I was done on that day . 20 min later , I found an appointment at another facility. Staff was sweet and has better reviews. So, sorry Labeling is not a good practice. Everyone is unique and my cat is precious.

I have a 4 year old havanese who suffers from allergies. It is a battle each time with this vet to get my dog treated. Initially due to covid you could not go in with your dog. Now you have to argue to get not only an appointment but to go in. In medicine with humans it would be malpractice to not have appointment or courtesy. So good luck here they don't care about your pet just your wallet. And good luck if your dog is sufferings

All of the staff and the doctor was so kind and gentle to our dog faith I definitely would recommend this veterinary office they care about your pets this was the very first time my boyfriend and I took our dog faith to this veterinary clinic

I have taken my dogs here for years and they have never been anything but kind and compassionate. Take the time to explain everything and answer questions

What a great vet clinic. I called my regular (and now previous) vet because my dog Sydney had a serious problem that was urgent. They said they were very busy lately and i would need to make an appointment for the following week. If my baby needed her nails clipped no problem, when she is bleeding from a hole in her side not gonna happen. Called VC of palm harbor and got it in a couple hours. Sydney got checked in promptly and was pre checked by technician Autumn. She listened to everything little thing I said and relayed this information to Dr. Bollenback . The Dr. Was so comforting to Sydney and the whole team won her over within a few minutes. Dr Bollenback left no stone unturned and has gotten my girl on the way to a quick recovery. I don't know any of the other vets or technicians at VC of palm harbor but I'm sure they are just as great. You can't go wrong trusting these great people with your loved one ❤

They took care of my Golden retriever Frankie for 3 yrs. On June 1st of this year we had to put down the sweetest, kindness and most lovable dog God ever put on this planet. They were very kind and compassionate. I just pray that we get only Frankie's ashes. We did a private cremation. My wife and I are frozen with heartbreak and sorrow. We love you forever. Thank you very very much for your kind words ♥️???????? it' means alot. Doctor Hawthorne was awesome. I will be forever grateful to you. We picked up Frankie's ashes today. We would like to thank doctor Hawthorne for her kindness and compassionate way we were treated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Frankie forever. I just wanted to add that we received our beloved Frankie's paw prints today. There was a beautiful card inside signed by everyone that works there. It is so beautiful to see that there is still people in the world like you guys. We will never for get your kindness and love for Frankie.

I can't say enough about the staff and doctors at The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor. We've been taking our dogs there for 4+ years and have worked with Dr. Hathaway, Dr. Garcia and Dr. Turk. All are so professional and truly compassionate about your pet. We recently had to put down our beloved Stella due to cancer. Dr. Hathaway and the vet tech were amazing. It was such stressful and emotional time for us but they were so caring and compassionate. They made our pup comfortable through the whole process. Thank you from the bottom of hearts.

What a wonderful experience working with this team and our new kitten. We will always bring our Rosie to this location! The entire staff is awesome! We just can't say enough about the whole experience! Thanks guys!

The doctors and vet techs are very caring and knowledgeable. If you have any concerns pertaining to fur baby, they always take the time to address them.

I had used the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor to take care of my pets for 10 years.When I was going through the process of ending an almost forty year relationship at the end of last year my ex agreed to my having visitation with my dog Griff who was legally licensed tome and the contact on the chip.after the process was closed The Vet clinic of Palm Harbor along with its staff would not give me information although knowing I was the legal owner. They including Dr Mann sure knew the real owner of the pets that they treated over the years and how I had recommended them to others. Dr Mann never contacted me instead allowing the front desk staff to take charge of the whole thing. After finding out that Griff was way over due for care I said I would pay. Even though they would not tell me when the appointment would be. In the end I just gave in and allow the ownership to be changed for the good of the dog. This taught me that someone’s word is not worth anything. Make sure you have everything including your visitation of your pet sewed up. Thank you Jack Spirk and Dr Mann for all you did not do.

Great caring doctors and staff, truly are caring and compassionate . I am so thankful to have found them to care for my 9 year old Maltese who I consider my 4 legged son.

Best Vet in Town! I drive a little further just to make sure my pup is well cared for. The staff is great and Dr. Bollenbeck is great. They care about the pets they see.

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. From the reception staff to my vet tech Carrie to Dr. Turk himself, everyone went above and beyond to help my cat when I brought him in last minute for urinary problems. Hes very anxious at the vet, and everyone took extra care to make sure he was calm and comfortable. They were very thorough during the exam and made sure I understood his condition and what to do for him. This is not my regular vet, but the difference in care we received from this clinic and my usual vet was night and day. I'll only be going to the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor from now on. I hate that my little guy isn't feeling well, but so glad it led us here.

This is the BEST vet office. The clinic has stayed open later than their usual hours before when we really needed them back in 2016. They helped us through a difficult time with one of our cats needing surgery. Since then, they have always found a way to get me into their office when I call at the last minute and I'm so thankful for that when my husband and I both work full-time. They are extremely nice, caring, helpful, and want the best for my cats. As with every vet office, sometimes I have to wait a little longer than I'd like to, but I'm okay with it since I trust the vet and know that they are doing everything they can. Also, there are other vet clinics out there that are cheaper, but you get what you pay for!! This is the best vet office in Palm Harbor! We moved a little further out about 2 years ago, but I still make the commute because I do not trust any other clinic with our cats!

I've been going to The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor for years! I drive over 20 miles to bring my fur babies for great care! I have tried local places closer to my house and they are not even remotely comparable. The staff and doctors and amazing! They are professional, knowledge, listen, and provide excellent recommendations. My fur babies love it there and are treated so well! They are great at communicating and even call after appts to check up on your fur baby to make sure they are doing well! Excellent customer service and truly caring and compassionate people! Highly recommend!

My Harley came in barely able to walk and hadn't eaten anything in two days, I was scared to say the least. The staff and Dr was amazing, fully explained my options and what they thought was going on based on the info we had at that point. One UTI and Three days later my main man was back to himself, thanks for everything you and your team did!

I actually ended up here by mistake. I was looking for the ER clinic we took my daughter's dog to, but it had gone out of business. These girls got Lilly in and the Dr. was great. They will be Lilly's new vet.

I cannot put into words how amazing this staff is! my baby girl was rushed into the vet about a week ago because she wasn't breathing very well. the doctors were very patient and informative. in the time we were waiting for results on her tests we were able to go be with her. while we were with her there was also another doctor there by her side comforting her the whole time. at the end we had to make the most heart wrenching decision to let our baby go, so she wouldn't suffer anymore. the doctors brought us in a private room with Shadow and let us take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. with that being the worst day of my life I can't ignore the fact that the doctors were incredible through it all. we ended up cremating here and were told we'd get her back in a week. she came back a few days after along with a card with personalized sympathies from everyone there and Shadow's inked paw print which I really wanted but never got the chance to ask. they just knew. still very hard everyday but just a huge thank you to everyone here!

As a pet owner, I highly recommend this vet clinic. Every staff member is very caring, they keep you informed of everything discussed during the visit, they have same day appointments when you need one, and always call to follow up when needed. Truly awesome, thank you!
