Very kind staff and Dr... He knows how to care for animals. My dog has bad anxiety and the ladies are always kind and caring for her. Thank you all! I feel my pets are in great care here... Dr Smith is not out to take your money and is intelligent!

Very unprofessional. They don’t listen to what you are asking for. They just take your pet in the back and inject them and then tell you afterwards what they did. Worse Vet experience ever. Will never take my car back there again.

If you intend on using trifexis and ordering online go someplace else. They are really annoying to deal with. Aldo if you don’t order the medicine right after your first visit you will have to come in again and get tested. Most places pet meds calls and you get your stuff but not here. Also leaves you with the feeling that they are trying to push the products the do sell for preventative. Definitely going to find another vet next year.

Ashley, was so caring professional all-around wonderful young woman. They sent their condolences and beautiful flowers to my home after Lizzie past. They are very compassionate very good at what they do and would I recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much for your kindness God bless all of you.

Both our dogs are excited for the first time to come to the vet. They know our dogs name as they come in the door and greet them. Curlew doesn’t pack appointments on top of each other, so you don’t have a waiting room full of dogs and cats. Dr Smith spends a lot of time helping you understand your pet and the situation.

Curlew Animal Hospital is by far the BEST for all your pet(s) care. We've been going to Dr. Smith for over 25+ years for our animals care. You will truly feel like part of the Curlew Animal Hospital family with the compassionate care and genuine love they show to all their clients! I took my new puppy to Curlew Animal Hospital for his 1st vet appt. this am and I couldn’t be any happier! The girls in the office were very nice when I 1st called and the Techs today were sweet as well. Most importantly, I have NEVER met a Dr. nicer or more informative than Dr. Smith. That goes for MY Drs as well, not only my Fur Babies! ;0)

I would never take my fur baby to anyone else. I’ve trusted Dr Smith and his fabulous staff for over 25 years!

Today was my very first visit. Both Minnie (my pup) and I felt welcomed when we walked through the door. The paperwork was very quick and not hard to understand. They were super nice at the front desk and showed me my estimate before even being seen. The waiting room is super nice and I overall am super happy I made the switch from our old vet.

One word...AWESOME! The staff is wonderful, as is Dr Smith. He takes the time to explain everything. He and his staff make you feel that your pet is the only one that they are concerned with. UPDATE: 2020 STILL AWESOME! How many other businesses can you name that maintain a consistently caring attitude when dealing with worried pet parents and has an amazing depth of knowledge when caring for their patients?

We brought our two pugs into this office . They were recommended by a lady we know. So kind and professional. No doctor visit yet, Cindy and Michelle are super. Girls are seeing Dr smith tomorrow. Praying their issues will be resolved. Have a lot of faith in this clinic. So very grateful.

My cat is currently dying in my arms, but thanks for the atibiotics and aids/leukemia screening I didn't ask for.... Maybe the viral/bacterial screening I DID ASK FOR and didn't get could tell me something?

Worst help ever worker was yelling at me and my son changed me 1300 for a iv for my puppy I will not go there again for any of my dogs do not trust them with your family dog

We moved from NYC with a very allergic pit bull to the Tampa area and after many different Vet’s who were unable to fix his problems , we were referred to Dr. Smith by a neighbor . Honestly, we didn’t think he would really be able to resolve my babies issues but we thought it was worth a shot so, we made an appointment. We were so glad we did, his staff is amazing , these girls are so kind and caring and it wasn’t just a show. Our dog had frequent miles with our old Vet in NYC , I mean it wasn’t from the lack of effort we really tried to get his allergies under control but, without success until we came here under Dr. John Smith’s care! We are so happy that our dogs allergies are under control and we owe it all to Curlew Animal Hospital! Brodi is one happy dog now, Thank you Dr. Smith!!

WOW. Just Wow! But that's not enough. I felt like I was leaving the office with a different dog- a healthier, spunkier dog. And reasonably priced! Same day visit, exam, meds, etc for about $250! I'm dog-sitting and there is no greater fear when doing this than when the dog seems off. I just felt there was something wrong with Peaches and the owner's vet was out of the office. I called 2 other vets and they couldn't take her today. I called Curlew Animal Hospital and they said they had a full schedule, but then said they could squeeze her in at 2:45. What a relief. Turns out she had a fever, her tooth is decaying and possibly causing serious problems. The staff was amazing and caring and took time with me to explain things and called the owners who happened to be flying home tonight. Dr. Smith spent time with them on the phone and withe me in the examination room explaining in detail what was happening and treatment options. Ashley and Ola talked me through things and made it a pleasant visit. I'm so sorry I didn't get the other Tech's name-she was great, too. I have to say, I LOVE my vet. But if I get a new dog, I'm seriously considering going here. Great facility and staff and doctor!

The staff is excellent and ALWAYS accommodating. Dr. Smith is a great veterinarian with a really kind heart, good intuition, and a lot of experience. My Aussie is my baby and these folks treat her like she's their baby too!
