We were excited to meet Pepper's new groomer Sarah. She is top knotch....doing such a fantastic job with him. So pleased. Look forward to seeing all again on Jan. 22nd. For his annual check up.

We are temporarily using this clinic for our pets until we move overseas. They were so kind to our three dogs and to my husband and I on our first check up visit. We will be using them to provide official paperwork when we travel to the UK. They were very professional, kind and helped us with some pending items. Highly recommend this clinic.

After not having a dog for a while we just adopted a new puppy. I took him here to establish a vet and get him checked and I was overwhelmed by the kindness and professionalism. Luke loved everything about his first visit. ❤️ So happy to have them right down the road!

Mia is an older Giant German Shepherd who is now going here and is much happier with life. Our van battery died for leaving the lights on and they even helped us jump start the van. Kind, polite and very helpful. Thank you all!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at the vet! I absolutely loved Dr. Sysel. I was thoroughly impressed with the time she took to explain everything to me. She even put together a diet plan for my girl who needs to lose weight. I’m so happy! :)

I took my over 10 yr old English bulldog yesterday for a nail trim using Dremel. The appointment was 9 am in the morning. First, they didn’t cut his dew claws. I had to send him back. They took care of it immediately. Then on the way home, I notice his right year started to swollen and a hematoma was developing. I called them immediately. Their first response was a complete denial and stated they didn’t touch his ear. The second response was that all their vets have appointments to meet. They doesn’t have time to take a quick look at him. I am very upset because my old baby has to suffer. I have to cancel all my client appointments because I had to send my dog to emergency vet. At the emergency vet, the vet found a red mark on his ear looking like the Dremel had accidentally touched his ear. Accident happens but the response from this clinic is unacceptable. They simply don’t care! Just saw the response under. I just want to point out that no technician visit was offered at all. I was simply told that no one was available to see him. At 4:30pm, a doctor may be available. Who will allow their dog bleeding for 7 hours? The fact that you think it is okay to let a dog bleeding for seven hours just to see you shows whether you care or not!

Jessica does a great job of grooming our poodle, Abbie. She was timely and very professional. Great experience. Our dog loves Jessica and even going to their place of business. ???? I was aware that our dog Lily had come in for a haircut was going to have difficulty as she had for the last two haircuts by other groomers. Unfortunately Lillys experience was pretty rough and the truth is the haircut is pretty bad. We had asked to have a light anesthetic to sedate her but apparently it was not too successful and the groomer had an impossible task to try to complete, so the haircut pretty bad. We are planning to bring her back for the next haircut and we will ask for a stronger perhaps a general anesthetic in the hopes that we can have her calm And get a better haircut. Hey, s—— happens. And we move on and look for the best. See you at the next visit.

I had an emergency with a kitten I found in the middle of the turnpike. They took me right in, evaluated the injuries, kept him for the day and fixed the kitty up. I was very pleased with the service, the friendly staff and the knowledge of the staff. I was hysterical over this poor kitten and they really were a blessing! We will be returning because I now have a new kitten! ????

I was new.in town and my cat was sick. I went to Martin Downs Animal Hospital, after researching and reviewing various options. I am so glad I decided to travel a few more miles because my cat received excellent care from the doctor and staff. My cat continues to make progress and hopefully will be 100 % soon. Thanks to everyone at the hospital for kindness and skills exhibited during our first visit. LMGalera

We have been taking our dogs there for 3 years only because my daughter took her dog there before we took him. When we got a new puppy, they were so nice but as the months passed, it just seemed like they grew angry. The groomers would say they look matted. One of our boys loves to be brushed and the puppy hates it. I’m sure I’m not the only person that has labradoodles and their hair gets matted in areas. They are the most loved dogs. We just took them in for grooming and when we get home they both stood at their water bowl drinking for what seemed like forever. Did they not give them water the whole day they were there? They continued to drink the entire night. This time their were no nicks but previous visits one of them would have some type of scab when they got home. We asked for a different groomer this time, while they looked and smelled nice. We are done with Martin Downs in Palm City.

Our dogs always love coming in - whether its just grooming or a visit with the doctor - their tails are always wagging! We've been coming to Martin Downs Animal Hospital for almost 20 years and they never disappoint. Very caring and loving to animals and humans too!

I only use them if there’s an emergency. Overpriced.
