DO NOT RECOMMEND! Dr Alexandra R. signed my dog's document “official certificate of veterinary inspection” on 12/21/2021, by the time my dog was Giardia and Coccidia positive. Puppies plus ( pet store at the Melbourne Mall) added manually a date of negative test on 12/29/2021 My dog was sold on 12/31/2021 I was hopping that Dr Alexandra and VCA were not aware about it and decided to call them today Unfortunately they are aware and they work together with Puppies Plus providing this type of non sense document. The negative result has not been provided to me And do not want any document from VCA How can I trust them ? I can’t By the way I took my dog to other Animal Vet and she got Giardia POSITIVE My new dog contaminated my other 2 dogs that had contact to her during the past days Nobody cares about pets anymore Sad story

Took my cat for a pain issue and odd behavior, when the vet assistant came in she was cold and no smile, when the doctor came in it was the same no empathy or smile. When we were done they tried to charge me for close to 800 dollars for a simple X ray and blood test. NEVER take your cat here or they will charge you hundreds and hundreds of dollars for simple things HORRIBLE SERVICE

Took my pet there and was very pleased. Dr Redmond was extremely thorough and explained what my pets condition was, how she got it and what they could do for her. The staff was kind and very upbeat. Great place to bring your pets.

I've been going to Village Animal hospital for the better part of 17 yrs while still on active duty in the military. I moved here with 3 dogs and 2 cats, all rescues. Now, I'm down to a different dog and 2 different cats (rescues too). I trust and rely on the advice, care, and attention to detail from the whole team. Between all the wonderful ladies upfront especially Jackie (has since retired), vet. techs, and Dr. Bauman and others, past and present, Village, in my opinion puts the pet's welfare first! Thank you!

They were very rude when I ask a question . Talk to me like I was stupid. I have 2 dogs and I went ahead and had 1 of my dog here and they charged me $285.i took my other dog to a different vet and same shots was only $88. Terrible

Took my 10 year old dog, Bentley there after he started a hurling yelp/cry whenever he moved. Took him to hospital after enduring a 3 day Labor Day weekend helpless seeing him in pain. Called on Tuesday and they couldn’t get him in until Thursday. Get him in, Bentley was totally acting normal in the exam. Doc couldn’t elicit any pain from him to determine diagnosis. Sent me home with 109 mg Gabapentin. Pushing forward, Bentley continue to suffer and in pain. Could barely walk. I called back on early Saturday morning like 4:00 am, leaving a message on their answering service that I needed to bring Bentley back in to be seen again because he was getting worse. My worse fear was my husband and I having to make a decision if we were going to have to put him down. Moving forward, the hospital called and got us in at 1:30 that Saturday. We get Bentley to hospital. Again Doc examines him and cannot elicit any pain. Bentley is totally acting normal, but his time we came with video. Doc watches video and then suggest a X-ray. X-ray returns and there is nothing broken. Doc sends us home with stronger pain pills and anti-steroid anti-inflammatory medication methocarbamol generic 500 mg and pain med Carprofen (Rivera) 25 mg chewable tablet. Took Bentley home. Started the pill regiment. I am not lying, within 3 days, Bentley was back to himself. Took him off all medication over two days to make sure he was healed and it wasn’t just him doped is on medication. We are now 24 hour of Bentley being off medication and he’s doing great! What I loved the most is that, I received daily phone calls from the hospital where Doc wanted an update on Bentley’s recovery and wellness. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Although Doc could not actually find out what was wrong with Bentley, he was able to find a cure to get my little guy out of pain and in healing.

The People at this Animal Hospital are very kind and clearly love pets but we have been taking our 2 year old Tabby Cat Zoey there for more than two months now with an ear infection. Yup two months later and about $1200 later, the vet is still guessing and our cat is getting worse. I'm going to another vet.

Horrible experience, incompetent Doctor. Refused and xray on my injured dog and immediately referred me to an ER vet for an $8k neuro surgery after a 5 min exam... Got 2nd opinion next day, they did an xray, prescribed pain meds and steroids and my dog was back to normal less than a week later. The doctor had no concern and only assumptions. She was dismissive and preferred to pass me along, assuming my dog couldn't walk and insisted she would become paralyzed in days if I didn't go through with surgery. The 2nd opinion doctor also said the meds she prescribed were too much for my dog to take and adjusted the dosage and added steroids. My dog is now good and I don't have to beg or max out my cc for an unecessary and invasive surgery. Very disappointing experience.

Initially, my review was very negative. One star. But the office reached out to me to try to make it right and give them another chance. As a dog mom of only rescue pups, I’m a big believer in second chances. I did go back for a second visit today. Doctors were switched, and my experience was beyond expectations. Now, a fair thought would be that it should have been right the first time, and while that’s true, this vet respected me and my experience, listened to what I had to say(it was an intelligent, respectful conversation) and went above and beyond to address my concerns. They did not have to do that if their reputation wasn’t important. But it is and I am so happy I went back! Dr. Spyropoulos is wonderful!! Andrea, the vet tech is wonderful!! The front desk staff are great!! Lisa, the practice manager was outstanding! My dog is in great hands thanks to the love and care rendered. Thank you VCA for doing the right thing and turning a negative into a positive!!

This was an overall not good experience. I brought 2 puppy's for their shots. That turned into being told that my female had a heart murmur & she shouldn't be bred. They pushed to spay & neuter. I took her for a 2nd opinion & that Dr said no murmur existed and she was in perfect health. Also, according to the lady that saw my dogs, they had invisible fleas that caused worms.

Anywhere but here! Let me repeat, anywhere but here! Please save your self the time, trauma, and money you’ll fork over at this place for no reasonable reason. Very disappointing an upsetting experience taking our new puppy there. After taking our puppy else where and talking to other professionals we realized our experience with the Vca was completely unprofessional and was completely taking advantage of being new puppy parents. Save yourself and your beloved animals by taking them anywhere, anywhere but here.

They will do everything they can to raise your bill. They 100% WILL prescribe your dog Clovamax for almost anything, which is $5 a pill for chewable amoxicillin, which is super cheap to make. They’ll prescribe it for anything and everything. I took my dog in for shots and they tried to prescribe it.

Today I was in a crisis before my Malt-Poo, Sherman, was clamped down on by a pit bull. Then the sky fell in!! The staff at VCA Village Animal Hospital LITERALLY put my world back in order. When I thought I couldn’t take anymore, they held me up! They fixed my Sherman. You needn’t look any further. These people are AMAZING.They do what they do for living, yes, BUT they do it with ALL THEIR HEARTS!! THANK YOU!!!’

Dr. Baumann is the best vet out. He truly cares and always makes sure us as parents and our animals are happy when we leave.

I wasn't impressed. They 100% try to up-sell you on services your pet probably doesn't need. I went there for a couple vaccinations for my pups since my vet was booked full, and they tried to get me to spend over 900 for two healthy 3 year old dogs. Could there be worse ways to spend your money? Absolutely, but I dont think its right to push services when there aren't any medical issues. Not to mention you have a new client who just is asking for vaccines. Ill be sticking with my current Vet for sure, and won't be returning to VCA village.

Best of the Best Dr. Peterson at VCA. She truly cares! She always calls me to check on my dogs. My dogs are seniors now and Dr. Peterson takes awesome care of them! Also, the vet technician's are real good to me and my dogs and the ladies behind the desk are as sweet as they can be. I want to Thank Dr. Peterson for all shes been doing for my babies. Everyone there are just awesome people! Thank you!! Updating my review: 7/31/30 I’m still very pleased with Dr. Peterson. She is the best Veterinarian I’ve ever been too. Very thorough and there health is her #1 concern. If I forget something shes sending out reminders or calling me. I believe there age speaks for her because of how well they are doing havingCushing’s and heart disease and kidney problems and they are still doing really well on the medications she has prescribed for them. They are 161/2 and 15+4mo.

The doctors at VCA Animal Hospital continue to impress me with the care they provide my fur babies. They go above and beyond anyone I have ever used before. Dr. Bauman and Dr. Peterson have both called me after hours to keep me up to date on the health of my babies. Thank you everyone at VCA for being the best!!!
