As The Tail Wags Oviedo, Florida

Thank you so much for squeezing my furbabies in for a last minute grooming the day before a holiday. Not only did they get us in, give the dogs baths, nail trims, and a haircut, they dressed them up for Thanksgiving, too! All in a much shorter time than the corporate groomers and for a better value! We’ve definitely found our new groomers!

They always take such good care with my boy. They are always friendly and welcoming!

We and our golden retriever love As the Tail Wags and the great mother/daughter team, Kristie and Megan! The only time my husband ever takes our pup with him on the way to work is when he is going to take her to be groomed. As soon as she sees the leash, she knows exactly what is happening and she literally dances with excitement! When we first got her, we tried a couple of other places, but ended up having to drag her in. It was not only upsetting to her, but to us, as well. Not the case here - not ever! She seems to just sense that they are wonderful people - and they are! More than that, they are great groomers! Highly recommend!

As The Tail Wags has friendly, professional staff who take very good care of your animals. They can also do boarding which is very handy for the holidays. I don't hesitate to send my furbabies their way.

Was able to get an appointment within 3 days. My pup looked great and it took no longer than an 1.5 hours to do a full groom. Definitely worth it. Highly recommend

My dogs have needed a nail trim for quite some time, but I never knew exactly where to take them. Their nails were getting to the point of uncomfortable for them, so I knew something had to be done. I have heard great things about As the Tail Wags, so decided to go in and give them a shot. Boy am I glad I did! They gladly accepted the dogs, took them in, and trimmed their nails perfectly! They comforted one of them when she was a bit scared, and we were in-and-out pretty quick. The staff were great to talk with, worked great with the dogs, and now my furries are walking comfortably again! I'm so glad I found As the Tail Wags, for my sake and for the sake of the dogs! Also, while I was in there, they had other dogs being groomed and looking beautiful! Mine all have short-hair and would not benefit from a grooming, but these other dogs looked like dog-show dogs! The staff was very friendly with them and kept loving and comforting them throughout the process. It was nice to watch. I even saw a cat in there that was groomed! They seem to do it all there!! I'm glad I found them!

The staff at As the Tail Wags have all gone above and beyond to make our fur babies feel safe and loved. They have taken great care of our dogs and have tailored their appointments to their specific needs each time. Above all, the ladies are always so kind and friendly. We are so grateful for their talent and love for our Izzy and Wally.

I have gone here 4 times first time was great plus $65 for a full groom. Then second time I went for a $15 bath special and ask if they could shave anual area, when I went to pick him up they charged $65, I didnt know shaving the anual area would cost me $50. Then last time I went I wanted a full groom I had set an appointment on line and even got two text confirmation reminders but when I showed up t he ey told me I didnt have an appointment took my Goldendoodle anyways and since they were in a hurry they shaved him down completely no hair left except in his ears, they didn't clean ears out but still charged me $87 more than ever before. My expectations were very low. This was my puppy's very first big-girl grooming. PetSmart was not able to handle her high-energy puppiness so I only cared about getting her fur cut back so she'd be comfortable. It's hot already (Florida) …

Kristie took great care of my super furry white husky. He was blowing his coat in the crazy weather and she did a super job giving him a blowout! All that extra fur is gone. His coat feels so much better and I don’t have snowballs all over my house! He was happy, fluffy and clean when I picked him up.

WARNING!!! PLEASE READ!!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ANXIOUS DOGS First, I would like to preface in saying that I NEVER write reviews and this is my third or fourth time taking both of my australian shepherds to As the Tail Wags. My australian shepherds have anxiety usually when entering any establishment as they, like most dogs, don't generalize and tend to be more anxious if there is a possibility of being at the vet. Both our dogs have gone to puppy training and even as adults. They have never been aggressive and were NOT aggressive during the visit just scared/anxious. They lived apart until recent events changed those circumstances and have been together for the past month. Anyway, the owner (Kristie) apparently got flustered trying to get them into the salon from the entrance. My sister was was helping hold the door because she was told it swings outwards into the street. So while my sister held both the door and one of the dogs, Kristie attempted to bring the other one in. Well, this is where she was at her wits end trying to get him in by force, not even petting/allowing the dog to get acclimated to trust her. When he started to resist and pull back, she lost it. Kristie said "I'm not doing this! This dog needs to go home!" and THREW THE LEASH AT MY SISTER while walking away. Luckily for her, a coworker was quick to talk to my sister who was in shock and obviously offended. She calmly helped my sister with both dogs after the owner (Kristie) had instructed her that she wouldn't be able to handle them. I went with my sister to pick up both dogs and the owner was very quick to say the behaved SO WELL once my sister left and no problems at all that it was just the entrance... Then, proceeds to ASK if our dogs had ever had training? If they were litter mates? Finding a way to explain their behavior but completely tried to make us feel like this was because of our lack of education on Australian shepherds, training, etc. KRISTIE NEVER APOLOGIZED TO MY SISTER FOR THROWING A LEASH AT HER, YELLING AT HER, AND ACTING INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE ACTED LIKE NOTHING HAD HAPPENED AND CRITIQUED US INSTEAD. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

They always do a great job! The owner gets to know her clients which gives a great personal touch! We've been using them for two years and have never been disappointed!

Did a fantastic job with my cat! She gets a sanitary trim of her belly and butt. Wonderful staff and one of the only places that grooms cats in the area!

Love the girls at As The Tail Wags I have 2 senior springers and they groomed them perfectly and in a timely manner since their older and it’s hard for them to stand long.

Kristie and her daughter are amazing! We have a pit/lab mix that we rescued and he has some issues with getting his nails trimmed and that’s an understatement. As the Tail Wags is the only place we’ve found that takes the time and has the patience to help us. We could never thank them enough! Amazing service. Highly recommend!

Kristie took such great care of my baby. She bathed her and trimmed her nails. I had brought her in to another location for her nails and she was able to trim them much shorter and smoother. When I picked her up she looked fantastic and smelled so wonderful! I would gladly trust her with my baby again and highly recommend her.
