Don’t take your beloved pets there, unless you want them to die! Dr Tony and staff killed my dog. They are the worse!!! Dr Tony said after he put my dog down, look on the bright side on how much money I will be saving on Vet bills and medication. -They refused to get my dog in five days before hand and told me unless blood was coming out of her nose I can’t get her in sooner. The day of, I called and tried to get her in, only to be told to give her pain medication. I called back again and said she can’t wait any longer something is not right. Instead of them instructing me to take her to the emergency room, they told me to drop her off, “but they were busy”. I found out later they did not work on her until hours later and by then it was too late! On top of that, Jackie is the worse, she is highly unprofessional, rude and even scratched my hand, pushing me out of the office, saying I didn’t have a mask on, yet hers was underneath her chin. Beware!!!

They’ve been taking care of my dog for 5 years now , they do a great job!

Our first encounter with MWVC was when we discovered a newborn kitten who was obviously ill. We took her in without an appointment and Dr. Tony graciously agreed to evaluate and treat this sweet, little girl. We have taken all our pets, old and new, to them since. Dr. Callahan and all the Staff have been wonderful and we look forward to a long and happy relationship!

The receptionists are both amazing. The staff overall are very attentive. The vet explained things in a very detailed way and took his time . I would 100% recommend this vet clinic.

Dr. Callahan and his staff are tremendous. They are kind, caring and professional and I couldn’t be more pleased. A few months ago our cat suffered an injury in the middle of the night that paralyzed her back legs. My wife and I took her to an emergency clinic where the doctor didn’t have much hope that she would recover. We then took her to Dr. Callahan when the office opened and after looking at X-rays his prognosis wasn’t nearly as dim. He didn’t see any damage to her spine and thought it was premature to put her down. He gave us medication and told us to restrict her movement. Long story short, our cat has recovered thanks to Dr. Callahan’s care. The paralysis is gone and she can now jump up on her favorite chair for a nap with no problem. We are so grateful to Dr. Callahan for his care and his kindness. and told us to restrict her

They are the best and above all caring

This is the place I have boarded and taken my pets for check ups for the past year and they are awesome. Very caring, professional and reasonably priced. I feel safe leaving my animals with them when I go on vacation and I am a worrier when it comes to my pets. Thank you Metro West staff for all of your hard work :)

My puppy had a good experience here. The vet was incredible with her! I do wish they would allow people in the waiting room as it is so hot in Florida. Especially as masks are not mandatory anymore at most places.

Great team that treats us and our dogs like family.

We recently changed vets to be closer to home. We were given a recommendation for MetroWest Veterinary Clinic. Having a little dog with serious attitude issues, I was very nervous. The staff was understanding and did not want me to feel that I was a bad pet parent because of my dog's issues. BTW As a rescue dog it took a whole year before he let me kiss him. Now he gets on my lap and presses his head on my lips. I want to thank everyone at the clinic because they were so patient with both of us.

My dogs are members of my family and MetroWest veterinary clinic treats them as such. The entire staff makes me feel that they are their for me and my dogs. I have gone elsewhere and I did not feel this way. I trust them completely and they have never let me down.

I left Orlando over five years ago but I will never forget Dr Callahan and his wife Dinah. My west highland terrier Tyler developed diabetes then cancer.... he was the love my life..... Dr Callahan called me multiple times after hours to check on my boy and as horrific as letting him go was, Dr C was so caring and gave me precious time with him to say goodbye..... I cannot recommend this practice enough. Genuine, educated staff who TRULY care about your fur babies

The whole team at MetroWest Veterinary Clinic truly cares about all of the animals (and their humans) that come in. They continually keep me informed and educated about the best health options for my cat and help to take the anxiety out of the vet visit process.

Excellent care for our pet's, and wonderful staff!

I had adopted a 3 month old Bengal named D'Artagnan, weighing in at about 3 lbs and he wasn't a candidate for his neutering surgery because of an elevated temp and a possible Upper Respiratory Infection, so I was made an appointment with MetroWest to take D'Artagnan in to be evaluated upon the conclusion of my adoption process. Because of COVID Protocols, I took the little man to the facility and handed them copies of his medical records from Orange County Animal Services, which is where I adopted him from, so that they could see what was done at that location., and then handed "D" to the tech and sat in the car awaiting a determination. Sparing all the details of the eval I was allowed to take him home and make sure he ate his kitten food, drank water, got his meds, and used the littler box. We both awoke every 2 hours approx and I made sure the he hit the box, water and food and then we both went back to bed since he liked to sleep on my chest or my shoulder. At approx 1:00 AM he moved which woke me up immediately and noticed something definitely wrong with him, so I telephoned the Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Central Florida and explained and rushed him down to the facility. Long story short, he had deteriorated so quickly and the vet thought that it was FIP which has 95% mortality rate, so it was decided that it would be the most humane thing to do was to humanely euthanize him, which was done. I was contacted by Dr. Tony when he got the report from the emergency clinc and he spent 40 mins with me discussing it. I was heartbroken as could be expected but he reassured me that I had done the right thing. For having only seen my boy 1 time and the conversation we had I knew he loved animals and would do whatever could be done for our fur kids. I highly recommend MetroWest as a primary vet.

MetroWest Vet Clinic has the best front office staff, the best animal care and treatment staff of and veterinarian that I have ever used. Dr. Callahan is the most contentious and caring vet that you will ever find. His love for his patients and their humans is demonstrable and obvious on every visit to his clinic.

I had to bring in my oldest kitty (15 yrs) to have a lion haircut because she was getting terrible hair mats on her stomach and wouldn't let me come them out. She would bite me it i tried to brush her stomach, even without the mats. Metrowest Vet did such a beautiful job with her "shave", I'm happy, Buffy is happy and she prances around the house like a kitten! They take care of my kitties for routine care and rescued Buffy from her hair nightmare!

These people are amazing and the rates are unbeatable!! They made room for my dog who suddenly fell ill when nobody else would, and everyone I spoke to here is just as nice as can be (especially Jackie and Elizabeth). Doctor Callahan is so nice, extremely thorough, and obviously a very caring man. My last vet barely looked at my animals, didn't say two words to me about my animal, didn't ask any questions, wouldn't listen to my concerns, and then charged me upwards of $700 for only a check up and flea preventative. Totally different story here! Dr. Callahan dedicated quite a bit of time to me to speak about my dog's condition, answered my questions, gave me some great advice, and he really made me feel assured that my dog was in the right hands. My visit for a new patient with bloodwork, xrays, and medication came out to only $370, which was way lower than I anticipated! I will be bringing all of my animals here from now on, no question.
