Magic Pet is an amazing groomer and boarding service. I’ve taken two standard poodles and they always come back looking like movie stars! Most importantly, this is the only place I could take my timid rescue pup for a repeat groom where she didn’t start shivering as soon as she realized where she was. That was an obvious sign that they take really great care of the pups during and after the groom.

We love Magic Pets in Baldwin Park! They have saved the day several times having the special kind of food our pups eat! Great customer service!!!!

Amazing daycare! very clean and prices are great. it was only $25 for the full day and they take the puppies for a 15 min walk around Baldwin Park twice a day. they are free to play inside all day, and the fed my puppy lunch for no additional charge. The young girl that works the morning shift is always playing with my Bella she even gave her a toy for her birthday!

Magic pet is a great place for daycare and boarding. I started with 3 days of daycare for my Yorkie, I wanted to make sure he got along with other dogs before my vacation. The experience was wonderful! They have a young girl in the front with the small puppies and the other half for the larger dogs. My puppy Henry was happy and excited to go back the following day and after boarding I asked the groomer to give him a summer shave down and he looked great even though I know this little guy moves a lot.

I’ve been taking my dog Atlas here for three years and have always had a wonderful experience with grooming and boarding and the daycare. Samir is always more than accommodating and does an excellent job with grooming. Highly recommend Magic Pet!

We have two large german shepherds and Magic Pet boarding has been a life saver! Whenever we go on vacation we know we can trust Janaien and the team to take amazing care of our dogs. My biggest GSD Marshall (95 lbs) absolutely loves it there.

During CoVid it's been extremely great to work with Magic Pet. I live near the store and every time I've ordered they've been to deliver day of. I will continue to buy Fromm's from this place. Great experience.

I will only go to Magic Pet for dog food, supplies and grooming. They deliver, the staff is incredibly friendly and great location. I've been a regular for about 5 years. Thanks for taking care of my dog and providing me with excellent service and products.

Locally owned shops are the way to go. One of the only places around I can get Fromms from. They just opened another location and grooming shop as well. Certainly a repeat customer and will be from here on out.

My family loves to travel and unfortunately can’t bring our puppy babies with us as much as we’d like. Magic Pet Boarding has completely changed our vacation quality by knowing that they will always make themselves available and take the absolute best care of our boys! The owner is extremely accessible and always texts with me regarding availability and even sends me pictures of the boys with updates during their stay. They have even come in early to check in the boys when we’ve had early flights or last-minute change of plans! As a business owner myself I know that customer service is key to any successful business… However Magic Pet and their family always go above and beyond my expectations! I Rarely take the time to leave reviews but this family does it right and deserves the recognition. Thank you Magic Pet for being the best and taking such incredible care of our babies!!!

I will never step foot in this location again. When we walked in not a soul was there working. After walking around alone for a few minutes a woman ran in. She said hi to us, a few minutes later she barked at us “do you need help finding something” we said “no thank you”. We found a dog toy we liked, however the price was not marked anywhere. We took it to her and asked for the price. It was 18 dollars for a fabric dog toy; I said “no thank you” she looked upset so we left. We walked out of the store...seconds later we saw her leave the shop and run across the street to CVS. The prices are insanely high and the staff would rather shop at other stores than help customers. Hospitality is a dying art form.

We have been taking our dog to magic pet for over six years, and buying her food there too. Great selection and even better service! I do miss the Aloma store, but I'm happy for the success they have had as they have added stores and continue to grow.

Awesome place I took my yorkie to be groomed and she did a fantastic job they got themselves a new customer.

Don’t trust the prices on the website or if you call in. I was quoted $38 then charged $50. They wanted to charge me $75. Not even a full grooming, just for a mini. Plus the woman at the front desk was about as cold and unpleasant as roz from monsters inc.

They did a great job grooming my poodle mix. Very reasonable prices and same day service.

They did a wonderdul job grooming my little havanese who tend to be dificult to groom. I have been taking my dog to different groomers, but Magic Pet was the only place that was able to properly give my dog a very nice haircut in a very long time. No stress and very patient groomers. Great service, brought my poodle in last year and have been looking for the number to bring him back. Yes the owners dog is a great greeter! But I loved the friendly service, the price for grooming, the work, and the fact they let my dog be free in the back. He looked and smelled wonderful. I coming by today.

Samir, the owner is an extremely helpful and friendly neighbor who cares about the neighborhoods his stores are in. He'll deliver within Baldwin Park. If there is no parking in front of the store, there is a HUGE parking lot in back of the store (Publix parking lot) and there are always spaces open closest to the walkway to the pet store. Samir knows the names of both of my dogs and has always had great pet care answers to questions I've had over the years. If he sees us walking down the street he will run out of the store with a treat for my four legged kids. I've also used several of the groomers he's had over the years and have always been very satisfied with the service and value.

I am in the process of sending a formal complaint. Their groomer shaved my dog WITHOUT permission and he is unrecognizable! The owner was NOT apologetic and handed me off to the groomer via phone call which was combative and rude. NEVER get your dogs groomed here! There is terrible communication. The groomer told us our dog would need to be cut short to get some mats out, but NOT shaved! We have before and after pictures and it’s heartbreaking. We have a cavachon and he looks like a poodle now. We are disgusted! Only dogs that are severely matted should be shaved and permission should be granted from the owners! I have been out of the State but this is not over, not even close!

Go there twice and they'll remember you and your pet as well as anything you needed to help your fur-baby.

I’m honestly upset to be leaving this review because we’ve been customers here for about 2 years now. Our dog had her first groom here and we were very pleased but recently the operation is going down hill. In the past we’ve never waited longer than 1.5-2 hours for her to get groomed (she’s a 65 pound labradoodle). But today for some reason we’ve been waiting for 3.5 hours at this point and still don’t have our dog in our possession. I don’t know if it’s the owner’s wife or sister or whoever working in the shop today but her communication is absolutely horrible. I had to call her after waiting for 3 hours to find out about the status of my dog and she told me I could come get her. When we arrived we were told that she wasn’t finished and we needed to keep waiting. I’m writing this review while I sit and wait because I’m so upset with the service that’s been delivered today. Every time we walked into the store today the woman was sitting on her cell phone chatting with someone and if she had gotten off the phone long enough to take a look in the back, she’d know the actual status of my dog’s groom. Aside from her, the man in the back is working on 3-4 dogs at once and switching back and forth between them randomly. If I had an appointment at 11 am, I expect my dog to be groomed all at once and not bathed, set aside, shaved, set aside, and then trimmed..... this is especially important for a dog who is TERRIFIED of loud noises and random people. Magic Pet has failed me today and I’m sorry to say I will not be returning in the future. I’d rather give my money to a big name brand like PetSmart because at least there’s some assurance of when my pet will be done.

I’ve lived in Baldwin park for 5 years and love Magic Pet! Samir is great and will even deliver your food to your door if you live in the neighborhood. If he doesn’t have your food he will order it and get it there ASAP. I also like that they are a family owned business. It feels good to show support !

Been bringing my baby (5 year old black lab) here for over 3 years now- so friendly. Amazing groomers. They are so great with special requests and concerns. :)

My pup and kitty go here at least once every other month or so. The owner is so nice and professional. Even if I've been out of town a long time, I'll wait til I get back for my pups cut.
