This is how my last appointment went… I took the cat in for a dental. Drop off was at 10 a.m. on Friday “surgery day” and I was told they would call me once the procedure was done and let me know when to pick her up. When I hadn’t heard anything by 4:00 p.m. I called to find out her status. They informed me that Dr. Shah had to leave for a few hours and got a late start on surgeries, but they were getting ready to start. By then the poor cat hadn’t eaten in 18 hours and was caged all day waiting for a surgery that hadn’t yet started at 4:00 when they close at 6:30 p.m.! I knew she was hungry and stressed out and I was mad, so I cancelled the surgery. They then offered to feed her because they were concerned she hadn't eaten all day and asked if I wanted to reschedule the dental for the next day. When I arrived for pick up there were people in the waiting room who were there for regular appointments, on “surgery day”, yet they hadn’t had time for my cat’s scheduled surgery.

I was very pleased with my experience at Grand Oaks Veterinarian. I haven't had a pet in many years and especially haven't had a cat. The office staff was great and the vet was very knowledgeable and Annie and I will continue to go back.

The staff was amazing, everyone is super nice. They weren't overpriced.I went in as a walk in and the Dr Shah saw my cat right away,she was awesome and very nice. The whole process,which a full check up with vaccinations took less than hour. I highly recommend Grand Oaks Pet Hospital ????

Thank goodness for Dr. Shah and her amazing team! My 14 year old cat Uma was not eating and losing weight. I was panicked. After bringing her in for an exam it was found to be 2 bad teeth! A dental cleaning and 2 teeth extractions was all to fix the problem! I was so afraid of losing my sweet girl! 10 days later Uma is a playful kitty again making all kinds of mischief in the house! It’s so heartwarming to see! Thank you Dr Shah you are so appreciated!!!

Today was my first time in that pet clinic wi th my 2 years old Cat. I am very please with the doctor and their staff. Excellent service received. Thanks for taking my cat today for an allergy check up.

I really liked Dr. Shah and the office cat. The price was right abd she was cery friendly and gave me aomw great information. I have had some awful experiences at aome vets. So happy this wasn't one. I do look forward to going back

This was my 1st time at this veterinarian. From Alex at the front desk, Shar-assistant to Dr. Shah it was an amazing experience. It was a distressing visit for me as my 4 year old cat had only been sick 2-3 days. After explaining what she found from the exam and x-rays the prognosis was poor and she had to be put down. I never met these people before but they made this experience bearable. They are compassionate and caring. I am so grateful I found them. Thank you.

Extremely compassionate Vet, we have had nothing but great experiences through the years.

We have been going back and forth and spending so much money with different vet visits . We have a lovely Great Dane, 16 months old, with a very sensitive pancreas and stomach. We have been battling to find someone reliable to finally take the time and find out what was wrong with our baby. It’s been a tough time, spending so much money and not even receiving a call back from doctors nor getting an answer. All they do is to make you spend money and prescribe so many medications. We were hopeless and exhausted until we found the fabulous, amazing, outstanding and fantastic Dr. Shah. She really took the time to listen to me, with the passion she has for what she does, and she was the ONLY ONE able to find out what was going on with our baby. We were so blessed to have found her????????. I write this with tears in my eyes just to think how much we were suffering together, and nobody was able to put some love and patience in order to find out the issue. Dr Shah has the knowledge, the patience and the love for our pets. I have no words to describe the gratitude that fulfills my heart. Thank you very much Dr Shah for everything that you do! You are truly amazing! God bless your heart. Keep doing what you are doing with dedication and love, and I know for sure that the universe will send many blessings in your way. Dr. SHAH is the best! She is very compassionate and provides the best care for my almost 18 year old doggie. Her service is unsurpassable. I wish I had come to her sooner. She also has very supportive and caring staff! I would give her a million stars if I could!

I've been with this vet for a few years now, and have only had one poor experience with a worker who is no longer with them. Everything else has, honestly, been pretty stellar. No vet is cheap, sadly, but Dr. Shah is very understanding when it comes to financial situations and works with you on your bill payments, which makes it much less intimidating when your furry loved ones are in need of help. The doctor and her staff are absolutely wonderful with my animals, they handle them with such love and care, and speak to and about them as if they're little mutual friends. I especially love that Dr. Shah expresses gratitude and appreciation for the pets themselves. She often comments about the strength of their spirits and their various mannerisms, which shows me she definitely sees them as individuals. I'll keep going to this vet as long as I'm able to!

I have come to this location twice and the first time was wonderful but my experience this past week was so horrible that I will not be coming back. I made an appointment to have my cat shaved because when I adopted him his previous owner had never brushed him and he has long fur so his matting quite bad, down to the skin almost. I knew that this would be expensive and prepared myself for such. When I called Monday morning I made the appointment for this Friday to their recommendation due to it being surgery day and he needed to be sedated to do all the shaving, I was told that drop off would be at 9am and pick up would be at 5pm and I was complete okay with this because I know it takes time. Come Friday I dropped him off and was told the same thing pick up would be 5/6 pm. Okay. Well come around to about 5:30 pm I have not heard anything and received no call so I decided to call just to check in and see how things were going and the receptionist had to call me back because she wasn’t able to get me an update right away again, they called me about 5:45 to ask if they could keep him over night to do the work because they hadn’t gotten to him, the entire day. I asked if there was any way to get him tonight and they said I could pick him up at 7pm which was great because I’ve never boarded my cat before so I was very uncomfortable with it if it wasn’t necessary, I went to pick him up at about 6:45 and I missed a call from them, when I arrived they asked again to keep him over night because they sedation. I asked to see him first before we made any decisions and they said it would be fine and to wait a few minutes. A few minutes turned into half an hour and when I went to see him they had completed the shave and he was awake but lethargic. The vet said she would prefer to keep him over night but would be okay with him going home. I decided so long as he was okay then I was okay with him staying over night. It was that time that I was quoted $45.00 due to all the issues they had they didn’t charge the exam fee or the nail clipping, which I thought that was extremely nice and they stated I could pay when I pick him up tomorrow. The voicemail from when they called me stated the $45.00 price as well. I was happy with this after a stressful evening. When I got to pick him up this morning and I was told it was actually going to be $69.00, now it’s not the price that I was mad about because that is still a great price what I was angry about was the sheer incompetency to communicate with me and each other. The receptionist/vet tech stated that she would call the vet to see if I can get a partial refund since they quoted me $45.00, I paid the $69.00 just to be able to bring my cat home but I awaited the call regarding the refund. When I got the call I was told that the price I paid was right and that I can not get the partial refund and that if I had gone anywhere else it would have been much more expensive. Are you kidding me?! You’re going to not only go back on your word but to make matters worse you are throwing oil on the flame by trying to guilt me into accepting this new price. I am not mad about the cost, I am mad because of the experience and how inconsistent your team is. I have the voicemail stating that it is $45.00 and was told this price in person. If there is a miscommunication that is not involving the customer you need to work it out yourselves. Completely inconsistent, terrible experience. I will not be coming back to this location, not because of services but because of the team itself.

We had to put to sleep our beloved Attila almost 2 weeks ago, the saddest day of our life. Dr. Shah guided us thru the process, it was the 1st time for me, and she was very compassionate, brought her into tears when Attila passed away, that shows she really does care about animals. We live in Clermont and we make the drive to this place, 100% recommended. She also has treated our other dogs, and again very professional. Thank you Dr. Shah ????

Dr. Shah is an amazing veterinarian. She is honest and caring and doesn’t take advantage of people making emotional decisions about their pet. I drive an hour from the other side of town because I trust her. You should too.

All the veterinarian offices were closed, including my normal vet office. I called Grand Oaks and they were closed but still offered to see my cat. The level of dedication to their pets is phenomenal. Because of COVID, I had to sit in my car and wait for them to call me about how my cat was doing. I wasn't worried in the slightest and knew they were going to take great care of him. The vet was extremely thorough with her information and understanding. They just gained another patient.

During a recent trip home we left our 11 year old lab, Jeffrey, who had cancer in the care of Grand Oaks Pet Hospital. Unfortunately, the cancer got the best of him while we were gone. The veterinarian, Asma Shah, and Alex at Grand Oaks took the most wonderful care of of our dog during his last hours. They were all equally supportive and empathetic. Even allowing our other dog Ranger, who was upset, to visit with him in the end. Since we could not be with him we are so thankful to everyone there who made the end bearable for us as well as Jeffy. RIP Jeff you will be missed. Again, thank you for your wonderful care.

Dr.Shah genuinely cares for the animals she treats. Her entire staff is geared toward making the client comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and caring.

Dr. Shah is the best vet I have ever had for my two dogs. I will never change to another vet again! She takes her time to discuss things with you and she genuinly cares for your pet.
