Shady business practices. Unwelcoming and incompetent reception staff. I called on Day 1 to get some basic information and a price/quote - even approximate - that the receptionist refused to provide, arguing that only the vet would know. I was told I'd get a call back, however when I called again on Day 2 for a follow up, another lady was also unable/unwilling to give me any price estimation and said - read carefully - that I'd have to "book an appointment first in order to get a rough estimate". Booking an appointment with them isn't free and you need to make a deposit beforehand.

Love this vet, they are amazing

I am new to this vet office and can not tell you how amazing they are here! We are a bully household with one pittie and two frenchies. Everyone is so friendly and caring. I moved to the area in December and have been looking for a great vet, and I found them! I was worried that I could not find a place that knows my breed of dogs so well. But boy o boy do they know there stuff and treat you and your furkids like family. We are here to stay! Thank you Starky ranch animal hospital you guys rock!!

Called to get information about establishing a relationship with this veterinarian for my two chihuahuas. The receptionist acted like I was a complete imposition and gave two word responses, doing NOTHING to engage me as a new customer. I was making very basic inquiries. Thank you, I think I will keep looking.

Dr. Sheridan is great!!! He takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions I have. He is very knowledgeable and patient. I feel my dog is very safe with him and his staff. I highly recommend this animal hospital!

We absolutely love this vet!! Finding a good vet can be difficult and also finding a vet that doesn’t overcharge can be even more difficult. We feel like their prices are amazing and they really love and care for your animals. Thank you for treating Howie and Hank so well!!

Dr. Sheridan and his staff are so wonderful! They always manage to fit me in, in a pinch and they don't brake the bank either. They are very affordable. He is very thorough and explains everything about my dog's condition or illness. I used to use another nearby vet for years and although they were good I just couldn't afford to spend hundreds of dollars for simple visits, especially since I have 5 rescue dogs! Thank you Dr. Sheridan and staff!

The veterinarian himself is a very nice man, gentle with the animals, great communicator, and not into the bottom line. We are very pleased that we found him.

Close to home, friendly staff, liked the vet and his work. Fair prices. Didn't have to wait long for an appointment, nor to get in to see the doctor. Definitely recommend!

My Maltese, Bella was over 15 yrs. old and she had always been very healthy. Recently she was having trouble walking, was limping, couldn't get up a small curb without falling, she was disoriented a lot and eating less. But the last 3 days she hadn't eaten anything. I knew it was time to let her go even I didn't want to. I was very afraid something would happen when I wasn't home. She was getting worse quickly and losing a lot of weight. Dr. Sheridan and his staff - everyone included - did everything they could to make this easier for me. They thought of everything and made this as painless as possible for me. I just want to thank Dr. Sheridan and his staff. I would definitely recommend Starkey Ranch Animal Hospital for any of your pet needs.

Love the Doctor and the staff

We have switched all our dogs to this vet. They are great. My dogs all love them and have no problems going in. They are less expensive and they dont try to over charge or add unecessary procedures to drive the bill up. Very happy so far.

My 16 year old ShihTzu Chunk was a part of the Starkey Ranch Family for many years until his recent decline. We always knew he was in the best hands & the staff knew the quality of life we wanted to give our little boy. Feel at peace knowing you and your loved one will be treated with compassion & given all the time you need to understand your pet's condition & plan for treatment. Doctor is very special at this! As for his staff; they're like members of my family. Melissa, doctor's wife, is a wonderful listener & she probably remembers more about the current happenings in our life then we do, because she always asks how things are going. Kathy, at the reception desk, can read what's in your heart before a tear or a smile becomes evident. Shay along with all of the other vet techs offer your loved ones their gentle hands. Please don't miss the opportunity to stop in for a visit here & you will see & feel exactly the way we do. Maybe one day, as our hearts heal, we'll introduce them to a new fur baby member of our family. Till then, we can only wish them continued success, happiness and health...... so they can offer the same to you.

Caring staff and clean facility

This place is awesome, great staff, great Dr. They dont push everything at you. You ask and they answer. So nice not to be solicited. I am going to bring my other 2 dogs here as well. I'm glad Animal Care Vets on Little Rd. wouldn't express my dog unless she had a rabies shot and wouldn't administer one at the time without making an appointment. They did me a favor. We are so glad we went to Starkey Ranch Rehabilitation veterinarian. Great staff. Thank you

I am so impressed and incredibly grateful for this vet! My cat hasn’t been eating, my normal vet told us she needed to be seen immediately but they had no appointments available. Starkey Ranch Animal Hospital got us in right away on Christmas Eve and stayed late to run tests and make sure everything was ok. The staff was caring, knowledge and all around amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We will be taking the rest of our fur family there from now on!
