Dr. Elligott is a very caring vet. She's very thorough in exams, and gets down on the floor if need be!~ My 5 dogs love her!~ PS, and Jen, I think she's a vet tech, is also awesome!~

Do not go to these people. The quality of the service has declined tremendously. I paid $96 for a fecal sample to be sent out to the lab. 5 days later no one has contacted me! I called the vet today and they said THEY LOST IT!! The receptionist Tracy was silent and didn’t care about the situation at all. She said well bring another fecal sample! Why would I trust them again? Terrible. Looking for another vet now

I had good experiences with the vets and techs. However, the receptionist Cindy is so awful she makes me not want to come back anymore. Terrible attitude when I called to ask for exam options, she answered all my questions with a condescending tone. Even raised her voice when I asked if I was going to get the results on the same day. You dont have to be rude to say no. If you don’t like to be a receptionist, find another job

Dr. Elligott saved my kitty's life! I always knew that she was amazing from the first time that I brought my dog and cat in over a year ago, but today she caught a murmur in my cat which led to an eventual diagnosis of a diaphragmatic hernia. She was thorough and quick to help me get him to the specialist where he could have emergency surgery. If she hadn't caught that small detail or been as proactive as she was who knows what would have happened to my baby! Both my pup and kitty love her. I would recommend her as well as Lakeside Animal Hospital to anyone!!!

Amazing. They accommodated us at late notice when our dog took a turn for the worse and we had to put him to sleep. They were extremely compassionate and went out of their way to make us and our dog feel comfortable. 5 stars all the way.

If i could've given them 0 stars I would have. I was shopping around for a decent priced vet to extract a couple of my dog's chipped teeth and my neighbor recommended these guys. First off i expressed to them that my dog is slightly nervous at the vets but if they just brought her back with excitement she wouldn't be nervous. After they took her back for blood work the vet called me saying she highly recommends sedating my dog every time i bring her to the vet because she was nervous, i told her what i told the vet tech that she is nervous and to just be excited and she wont be, and she kept pushing sedation on me and i have NEVER had a vet do that to me or even suggest it and i've never had a problem at the vet as long as they get excited with my dog instead of just stick her with needles and not care about making my dog comfortable. second... they came out and asked for payment and mumbled the amount so i couldn't even hear what they said, charged my card for BLOODWORK i looked at what they charged me when i got home because i wasn't given a receipt and i was charged $187 for bloodwork..... never have I been charged nearly that much for just bloodwork so i called around to my normal vet, and several others and Harmony Vet came back with $35 for the same bloodwork test that lakeside came back with.. i called lakeside and spoke with melissa i believe her name is who is the manager and she said that if i could get her physical proof that i can get bloodwork cheaper then she would refund or match it. i did just that and sent her over proof of the $35 bloodwork test and she went dark on me.. i called , i emailed many times and she refused to get back to me for weeks and weeks. at this point i have been robbed of $187 for simple bloodwork that i got done at HARMONY VET*** for $35 and even the tooth extraction itself was about $700 or so cheaper than lakeside. i will be posting every day until they do something to fix this and actually do what they said they would do and give me my money back after they charged $152 over what Harmony vet charged me. I do not recommend them to anyone .

They are absolutely awesome! Dr. Elligott has taken great care of mine and my families dogs. We always feel so welcomed!

The care and support from the Lakeside team is second to none! Dr. Elligott and her team go above and beyond to ensure a high level of care is met with a personable feel.

I have a plan to international flight, so I was looking for being help to get titer test, and searching for USDA Accredited Veterinarian. On the first call, they gave an advise professionally. And on the first visit, the staff and Dr. Elligott was truly kind and friendly. My dog has an anxiety but they looks like high skilled with that also. I feel so comfortable with such a wonderful animal hospital!

The entire staff and Dr. Elligott are all so caring especially during this pandemic. They take the time and effort to take special care of our animals all the time, but especially now as we cannot be with them while they are inside the facility. They take the time to talk to you after and always follow up with an email or phone call to check in a day or two later. Awesome group. Thank you.

Over the past 8 years, we have scheduled our pugs exclusively at Lakeside Animal Hospital. Why? Because our (total) 5 pugs have consistently received the highest quality professional care and personal attention from Dr. Elligott and her staff.

My 6 month old westie LOVES driving up with me to the office. He always come back so happy and tired. I know he's in good hands whether it's for his well-visits, daytime playtime or boarding him. Also, the staff is unbelievably kind and friendly. That's a big deal to me.

We have been a patient with Lakeside Animal Hospital for many, many years our dog now is 12 years old and has arthritis in his hip...it's very hard to get him in and out of car without it becoming a tramatic experience for him...we have always got his flea medicine which is prescribed by like Lakeside animal Hospital all of a sudden now they can't prescribe it to him unless they see him once a year… Dr. Elliott said it is the "Law" I have never heard of such a law... I asked for a copy of the law from the person who called and said that Dr. E will no longer prescribe the medicine ...I am still waiting for a copy of this law.... Never had a problem when Dr. D was there.... I think we need to put the care of the animals before the "law" ..I Will never go back to this Vet.. And would highly recommend that clients go somewhere where the care of the animal is what is important that's the bottom line profit ????????????????????

My name is Lucy Lentz and my Mommie took me to Lakeside today for a bath and hair cut. When she came to pick me up she said I looked so cute and smelled so good. We drive over 30 minutes to come here because Dr. Elligott and the rest of the staff are truly the best, and they treat our dogs like their own!

If You practice euthanasia do not go here. My pet was suffering pacing the house drinking tons of water standing at her water bowl crying all night. I gave her pain medication because I couldn’t stand to see her in pain. Then I went to see Dr. Elligot at Lakeside Animal Hospital. She kept my cat with the promise she wanted to monitor my cat at no charge. She told me to go home and get rest she didn’t want to be to hasty. I understood this and was somewhat relieved and left my cat. I was there at 7am to pick up my cat the terminal agitation started again. I called hospice on my way home. The were at at my home by 9:30 am. My cat was severely agitated at this point and less than a shell of a cat. Dr. Elligot called my phone and left a message on her so called “success “ with my cat. Renal disease in cats is horrible and there are vets who will try to get you to spend a lot of money keeping the cat alive with no quality of life. McKinley was pacing going back and forth to the litter box and crying. The Hospice Dr gave her pain medicine and something to calm her and soon the agitation had left her body. The company is lap of love the empathy she showed my animal was amazing and her kindness was amazing. I later that morning found out I was charged for all the care that Dr. Elligot said was on the house. When I called the clinic about these charges the woman at the desk said the manager is the only one who could reverse the charge. I am a hospice nurse 10 years I know terminal agitation and I also know renal failure in cats is deadly.

The doctors and assistants were all amazingly nice and explained everything to us clearly. When it came to the bill, they added the free first visit without me having to ask. They also sat in the floor with my dog, at his level and very respectfully checked him over.

First time with Lakeside. Dr. Colleen Elligott was incredibly knowledgeable. Friendly. Helpful. And HONEST. How many times have you walked into a Vet and been overwhelmed with options and large prices? She tells it straight. Finally, she was very calming to my little Yorkie. She loved on her to calm her before the exam.
