A local very sweet feral had been bitten on the leg and he wasn't using it and the swelling was only getting worse. Even though I "live" below the poverty line I couldn't bare to see him suffering. Took him elsewhere and they basically did nothing since there was no improvement. Then I was told about Ocala Square. They saw him the next day and omg they took such great care of him, even got his shots and neutered. I enthusiastically recommend them! And because I had to take from my dental funds, I kept him. We were traveling thru the area and visiting a National Park. Our chiguagua started limping and foaming at the mouth, we tought she hab been bitten by something. We walk into the clinic with no appointment, the staff was curtious and responsive. Dr. Lopez, Was extremely thorough she did a number of exxams to diagnose our sittuation. She took her time and explain everything. Thank God it was only a sprained leg. We were very happy with there compasion and service. Thank you to all staff at Ocala Square Animal clinic, Lisa and Miguel.

Diagnose my Son dog wrong for 3days saying he had Pravo. $1500 later animal Hospital I need to find out he has bookworm.One simple test of his feces gave us the answer. They had me bring him in day after day and charged these out rages prices for all types of different as they was saying Critical medication and hospitalization he never stayed over night I brought him there everyday from 9am until 5 pm because they said that did not have anyone to stay there with him over night. They ran blood test very painful for the puppy but the Dr at UF hospital simply checked his feces to make the determination no pain at all for him unlike these ppl. Now the puppy is doing so much better after one day when in fact the 3 days and over 1500 later he was still the same no improvement while going to this Vet. I don’t recommend this vet at all

Highly recommend Ocala Square Animal Clinic and here’s why, I had a feral cat that I feed get sick and was having trouble holding his urine and had blood in it. I called several vets in local area to me. They either didn’t want to take him because I had no history on him or vaccine history or quoted me an outrageous price for just an exam alone not including tests/ wanted to schedule me a week-week and a half out. I called Ocala Square Animal Clinic they got me an appointment the next day, the staff and vet Dr. Lidya Albano were professional, attentive and worked with us since we had limited info on the cat. Upfront on pricing of potential things he may need done and very informative on his needs and what he may or may not need. And took great care of him. Highly recommend Ocala Square Animal Clinic, not only for the great care but if you’re on a budget or a limited income like myself, they’re reasonably priced and affordable!!!

These people are the epitomy of rude! This was our second visit for a routine check up ( we were contacted and asked to reschedule, which wasn't an issue after arriving 10 minutes early we waited for over an hour to bee seen) , our dog developed a lump and discomfort in his left hind leg that evening, where the vaccine was administered, I called the following morning to be told the vet was out of town, upon asking if there was a covering Vet, I was told by Debbie, I should contact another Vet, because it's not her business and she doesn't know why there's no one to cover!!! I spent nearly $200.00 for that visit and ended up at UF Health spending another 200.00 for him to be seen! Disgusted by this practice!!!!!!! They don't even deserve a star!

There is no better place to take your beloved canine kids than to Dr. A and her fantastic staff!

Great service considering covid 19

Dr. Albano and her staff went above and beyond to help me when my cat had to be euthanized. They accommodated me on short notice, they were professional yet incredibly warm and compassionate. They have a heart for animals. My worst nightmare as a pet owner was made a little less terrible because of their excellent care.

Took Leo, a partly feral TNR'd Lynxpoint Siamese, with an attitude, to Ocala Square, after TLC did a marvelous job with testing, vaccinations, etc. after they sedated him. Leo had a mass on his shoulder and TLC said they didn't do surgery on masses and he also needed a dental. Instead of Leo having to be sedated again for Dr. Albano to do pre-surgery exam, I was able to send photos of the mass. Dr. Albano removed the mass and did the dental which included a hard extraction of a canine tooth. Everyone was very nice at Ocala Square and Leo recovered nicely. Thank you. Someone at TLC recommended Ocala Square.

i love dr. albano and her staff and have loved em for years now. dr. albano doesnt overcharge and rake you over the coals. she ALWAYS has the best interest in helping the animals. she's spectacular and trustworthy. she always goes the extra mile and is sooooo complete and thorough. when you see her for the first time you will agree. love love love!!! i drive an hour to get there and always will too!!!!

The ladies in this office are simply fantastic! I had to take my dog there for an emergency and even though they are not an emergency hospital they still took my pup and treated him.

Dr A.. is such a great veterinarian! Her knowledge and compassion is over the top. The staff are also VERY knowledgeable and helpful along with kindness. I highly recommend this place.

I have been with this vet for years and she is the best. She has a way to properly diagnose the problem and always treat my dogs with care. I highly recommend this office.

My cat became very sick and I am very glad I took him to this vet! Dr.Albano is fantastic and makes me feel that my little Otis is well taken care of. And he loves going to the office too!

Excellent Vet, I've used a few vets in town for the many animals that show up to my door. The most reasonable on spade/nuter but BEST OF ALL treats you like a person not just another client. Very caring vet and has earned my business !

Dr. Albano and her staff are the BEST! They truly love animals (and it shows) and care that your furry baby gets the very best care at reasonable prices. My furry kids have been patients here for 10 years or so, and I have had zero bad experiences. Heck, I recently traveled from St. Petersburg so that my elder kitty could be seen by Dr. Albano. I love her and her entire staff!
