The tech was super nice, patient and understanding. The Vet was very knowledgeable and took her time with Brownie. They weren’t pushy at all about services and they took very good care of my dog.

We were faced with the very bad news, our 13-year-old cat Gizmo was experiencing kidney failure. It seemed to come on very suddenly which made it very emotional and painful. Dr. Sarah, Dr. Victoria, and the whole staff were extremely compassionate and loving during a very difficult time. Thank you very much.

Cost me thousands of dollars and stress, and my mother cried. They said they could do routine paperwork for dog travel, and but they refused to do it correctly or read the instructions for it, but kept leading me on that they could do it. The incompetence and hubris of the doctors here caused a lot of delay and thousands of dollars. I was traveling internationally and could not arrive at my destination until my dog’s travel arrangements were set, causing me to spend weeks in hotels and having to pay additional fees to change my dog’s travel arrangements. I ultimately found another veterinarian who was able to do the paperwork without any hassle.

Just got back from an appointment for my snake, spent so much time trying to find a reliable vet for her, and i found exactly that! Very professional, quick, and affordable! The vet and nurse were so nice and helpful, will definitely be back! Thank you for helping me with my snake!!

I am so thankful to have found Marion Veterinary Hospital. Our young male cat LiteFoot MOUSE ripped open the skin on his hind leg exposing all the muscle. Starting with our first contact with Miss Angelika ( U ROCK Angelika ! ) we were treated well and offered immediate help. The hospital was itself was very clean. The staff-smiling and pleasant. Our next interaction was with Johanna, who listened to everything I said and handled MOUSE with gentleness, yet self assured firmness which I’m sure helped Mouse feel less stressed. I am also very grateful that the best Vet ever, Dr. Sarah Quigley-Buckley is @ this hospital looking after our young cat. She, Dr.SarahQ-B. is,without a doubt, one of the best vets I have ever interacted with. She is intelligent, thorough, and professional all while being personable. She has a calm and confident demeanor, putting both MOUSE and myself more ease in this emergency type situation. Right now I am planning on bringing our other young cat ThunderPaws KHAT in as well. Our experience was nothing but positive, and I would recommend them without a moment’s hesitation.

i loved the personal attention each vet dr. showed and the staff was very helpful and professional especially since i have a 15 yr old chi that's half blind, with a fractured leg that didn't want to be touched. the entire staff is super!!

Everyone was very friendly, both the tech and the doctor were attentive to my dogs, and the doctor even called to follow up on our visit. The vaccines for life program is an amazing value!

There was no way to make my experience better. I was so nervous bringing my bird to a new place (no other place took birds or had availibility.) They were quick to get me in, and I knew I was in love with them when they informed me that my bird comes first, that if she wasn't comfortable with having her beak trimmed they would stop then and there. That spoke volumes to me. I will probably be bringing all of my other animals to them in the future after that appointment. They had so much knowledge on my sweet little avian pet and they treated her as if she were their own. I am seriously so impressed with ALL of the staff, even the front desk receptionist was just an absolute joy. My bird is a GOOD judge of character and she loved them too. They were so gentle with her that she didn't make a peep during her check up and beak trim. I am still so happy with the service and will be telling everyone about the wonderful staff at Marion Veterinary Hospital.

Made an appointment for my dog and gave a $30.00 deposit. My husband is having surgery tomorrow and was called in to see the doctor today, same time as appointment. Called to cancel this morning and was informed because I did not cancel 24 hours ago I could not get back my deposit. I could reschedule for Tuesday but have no way to get there on Tuesday. Oh well.

Here is yet another “system shop” that cares more about its revenue stream than your pet’s health. The signs are easy to see. Any vet that makes you sign a “decline” statement for their overpriced meds… VS a cheaper online RX… should be considered a con artist, not a doctor. Took my dog in for diarrhea, after $700 in unneeded tests, and a needed, cheap fecal exam, a parasite was detected. But… they didn’t have the proper meds in stock so I had to go back home and order it from THEIR proprietary, overpriced online store. Now, I accepted the fact that I was going to pay DOUBLE for the medicine… but the problem is…. My dog is sick… he is uncomfortable… he has diarrhea… but Marion Vet’s overpriced, online store doesn’t offer fast shipping. So, I have an RX, I go to PetMeds, I get the overnight shipping… I order the meds and put in Marion Vet Hospital as my vet… PetMeds calls Marion Vet… and they DECLINE my RX! I find this out, after two hours of valuable shipping time. No one from Marion Vet bothers to call. I call Marion Vet. They say this… “Oh yeah, you will have to drive back here and get a paper copy, then you can go wherever you want. We don’t work with any online pharmacies. Only our own.” So… here is the bottom line… I can’t get my dog’s medicine here ASAP because Marion Vet Hospital cares MORE about GETTING THE SALE than my dog’s comfort or health. This is not my opinion... it is my experience! And that’s not just irresponsible… or cruel.. it’s an absolutely twisted and diabolical way to run a business that claims to offer care and compassion. Using fear and psychological manipulation is not uncommon in this industry, just obviously present here. I wish I could say they are the only Vet who does this. Also… their acupuncture is suspicious as well. They load your dog up with B-12 so you think the needle treatment is what made your pet improve. So deceptive.

This is the ONLY vet in all of Ocala, Gainsville, and the surrounding areas that had any interest in helping my family save our little kitten Butterz. The ONLY vets that spoke to me with concerned, compassion, and care. 5* all day long.

Very impressed with friendliness of staff and Dr. Quigley. Very clean place and easy to get to. Would recommend them to everyone who needs a Vet. They take very good care of your animals and are great people, really like everyone I have met there. Love the care and friendliness of all the people there.

Although I drive 45 minutes to get there, I will not take my fur baby anywhere else to see a vet or for grooming. I have never been inside (due to Covid) but EVERY person whom I've had contact with has been exceptionally friendly, professional and truly love animals!

I bought a feral 8 month old kitten that my wife and I have been gaining the trust of the last couple of months in as an emergency visit, we noticed he had started limping 4 days prior on his right hand leg, that had become progressively worse, and was getting quite swollen, the staff was very caring and professional, it was decided to bring him back the next morning to sedate him and lance to drain the lerg, the next morning he was actually calm, and after an x-ray it was determined that wasn't necessary, he was given a shot of antibiotics, and vaccinated as well, and we were sent home with some pain medication for him, he responded very quickly to the antibiotics, the swelling went way down by the next day, he was able to walk and run without a lump, and is doing great, they worked within the budget we had to spend on him, I highly recommend bringing your pet here for excellent care, we'll be bringing him back in a couple weeks for a follow-up and to be neutered, Dr Piccone is awesome is awesome as is her staff.

We just had our first visit for our puppy, and the whole experience was great! They were able to get us in same day for a small injury and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg! The ladies were all so sweet and Penny seemed to enjoy her time with them. 100% will be coming back and recommending to others.

I can’t imagine my experience being any better. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience, both for me and my adopted cat, the best it could possibly be. Should I own another pet or know of anyone else in need of veterinary care, I would highly recommend Marion Veterinary Hospital.

We have been using Marion Veterinary Hospital for my dog for about 1 1/2 years. The doctors are very thorough and really care about your pet. The girls at the front des, as well as the techs are great. I couldn't ask for better service.

I would highly recommend Dr. Sarah Buckley for all your furry friends. She was very kind and gentle with our older golden retriever (Honey). She listened to everything I had concerns about and addressed them with practical and useful information. She is extremely knowledgeable and truly loves her job.
