A friend of mine recommended this place. She said they were amazing and took real good care of her cat. When I called to set up an appointment for my two cats, the lady I spoke to was very kind and helpful. The lobby is very clean and everyone was just super sweet. Update: they had their appointment and they were taken cate of so well. Super professional but at the same time spoke to me as a person. They were so sweet to my babies. They explained everything to me so well and they made sure I understood everything. They answered every question I had. They most definitely will be the only place to take care of my cats.

Front desk receptionists are beyond rude! I dread having to go or speak to them especially Rachel . Expect attitude and to be hung up . Do better band field . I’ve never had this experience at any other bandfield in any other state .

Started first round of puppy shots and they got us right in (supposed to total three shots 3 weeks apart) then the next appt. They canceled and rescheduled for 5:30 on a Thursday afternoon (week 4) and they close at 6:00. Got caught in traffic (rush hour through middle of ocala) called at 5:40 to let them know I was late and still on my way. Was told not to bother they would not see us, and was told that we should have never been scheduled for 2 puppies at 5:30 end of day. The next appt was for the following monday at 4:30. I called at 3:40 to let them know we were on our way but may be a bit late depending on traffic since we live about 30-45 minutes away. Got no answer just kept going to voice-mail it took 10min to get through to an actual person, then the receptionist that answered was very rude and the first word she said after I told her my name and what time my appointment was. RESCHEDULE. I said excuse me ? My appointment is at 4:30 she then went on to say they had a full schedule that day and I would need to reschedule. When asked for the next available appt. I was put on eternal hold I hung up after 15 minutes. Upon the first visit, the vet tech and the vet were helpful and informative. But the front staff is a total failure and useless. Won't be going back and will tell anyone that asks how my experience went there.very dissatisfied customer for sure.

Trent, the practice manager, was extremely helpful when I was traveling and needed my dog’s prescription. My vet from home was unwilling to help me and Trent went out of his way to get me the prescription I needed. I was so thankful for their help!

Staff was friendly, vet was nice and informative. We had to wait in the car due to Covid restrictions but called us every time to discuss our dogs care prior to treatments.

I have been down on my luck recently, lost my job, couldn't afford my own food, and I couldn't afford to take my babies to the vet. My roommate was supposed to help me out, but she flaked out on me. I only had $66 and the bill was $84. So they applied to have a charity help me pay for the visit, because they knew I was having a hard time, and because I was already paying the majority of the bill. These are wonderful people who will help your animals when they are in need. Your pet is the priority, especially for people who work hard to take care of their pets. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasure. The truly care, I believe, about you personally. I have had several pets on their health plans, both cats and dogs, over the years. My pets have always received top care. I can say nothing negative about Banfield. at Banfield

Not what they used to be. I think the health care of my dog is being taken care of well? We are still not allowed to go in the rooms with the pet and see a vet. Told to wait in car because covid but then get a call to go ahead and bring them in anyway and wait in the waiting room. The rules change based on how busy they are I'm guessing. Customer service is not what it once was. One of my dogs apparently had a bad experience in the back that they take them to and now has extreme anxiety when at this banfield. It's like pulling teeth to get an emergency appointment if your pet is experiencing an issue, you will be waiting for days. Been a Customer of this banfield for several years and as soon as our OWP is up we will be transferring to a locally owned vet that allows for inperson visits and trust me they do and have been.

I am so glad I made an appointment with this place to get my dog his shots and pills and check up. He's 11 yrs old so needs a little extra care and patience and the staff made sure that happened. Our pets are part of the family and we want our family to be taken care of. I brought my dog in for his regular shots and pills but I had some concerns about his teeth due to his age. Dr Vickers did a full check up and reported back some things we need to take care so my dog stays healthy. He was kind and understanding but also sat with me to explain what needed to happen and waited to answer any questions I had. Thanks banfield for being awesome.

I am totally disappointed in the Ocala Banfield. They would not give my pup Otis his flea medication because he's a few days expired from getting his yearly shots. They could have given me the flea medication immediately ... then we could of set something up for the shots but no ... It was about money... they wanted the shots first while my dog is suffering, which I've given them a decent amount of money! Then .... after about five minutes of being in the front office the woman at the desk asked me to put on a mask. She didn't ask immediately. Literally the only place in Ocala that forced me to wear a mask and its B.S! I'm not sick ... haven't been sick this whole time ... and it's my personal right not to wear a mask! This is America ... land of the free! Remember that! I went to another vet and you lost my business.

Absolutely pathetic service!! Our diabetic dog needs to be seen ASAP and they can’t get her in for 4 days! Yet I pay DEARLY every month for these ridiculous rip off plans they have well guess what canceling all three plans and taking my business elsewhere I’d rather pay full price for a reliable vet visit than deal with these uncaring crooks!!! I wouldn’t even suggest these people to my worst enemies pets!!!

I have no words. So very thankful for the ladies here that turned a very sad and stressful visit into nothing but happiness and relief. They definitely went above and beyond with me today. They were so helpful, and so so kind. 10/10 recommend!

I really like this place. But sadly the women that work there are not friendly. They always seem to bothered with I go. Not sure if I'm just to positive if happy for them but there customer service level definitely needs an upgrade. As for the vets there I couldn't be more satisfied with them. They are patient and very informative.
