Thank you to volunteers at Beyond Nine Cat Rescue for helping us bring our rescue into our home. We fell in love at an adoption event at Petsmart and within the week we fostering to adopt our new cat. The process was great and everyone we worked with was fantastic. We'll be recommending Beyond Nine for anyone looking to bring home a furry friend.

Warning... If your cat goes missing and ends up in this “rescue” I hope you get him/her back. This person Nicole Degrace got possession of my cat after he escaped our fence. On the phone with Nicole I was told this was not my cat since the one she has is female and scratched her while mine is a boy and declawed. Long story short after Coral Springs police got involved we have our beloved family pet back. SMH

Great rescue group. They do more for cats that most other cat rescue groups combined. The founders have financed hundreds of cats out of their own pockets and they are always ready to help anyone in need. Wonderful place to adopt cats from.

Why is the City of Oakland Park kicking a cat rescue like Beyond Nine out? Seems pretty heartless.

I realize when I stopped there they were in the process of moving but I have to say I was disappointed in the way the place was kept. No place really to sit down to get to know the cats except on a few plastic chairs. For most this might not be an issue however when you have a problem standing for a long time it becomes an issue and I did not want to take a chance on a plastic chair especially when it was mentioned they had had several break recently. They do have some beautiful cats and if you are looking for a new companion I would say go check out the cats they have you might just leave with your new family member.

The wonderful women who run this shelter truly care about the cats. They go above and beyond to give the cats a great life and of course their success also depends on the help we provide as a community. I am so happy I adopted my two cats from here!

People think this is a large corporation with unlimited money and vet resources but it’s not. It’s a group of volunteers trying to prevent bad things from happening to a lot of cats. Every month they get dozens of calls from people trying to re-home a cat. People won’t take their pet to animal control from fear that they’ll get euthanized, often dumping and abandoning is their final choice, and too many of the most at risk cats end up here as well as other rescues in the area. All the rescues are full, just call around. That speaks volumes about the people who live here. The complaints you see here and on other sites don’t help the those who are struggling to make things better. If you can adopt or foster a cat, please do! It may be in great shape or not. If not, then help it, nurture it and do your best to make things right for one lucky cat! If you can’t adopt, volunteer or donate. My experience with the people at Beyond Nine is that they truly care about cats and they are doing their best with the little resources they have. I think they’re heroes. Any help you can give them selflessly goes to the cats, not a CEO’s salary, and together we can all make a difference in our community by supporting our local rescues and shelters.

An absolutely great cat rescue run by genuine people. We adopted our little nova from this organization and had 0 problems. Cat was healthy up to date on shots and I didnt feel pressured to adopt which I have felt at other places. They understand not everyone can adopt right now but if you can look into Beyond Nine and I promise you wont be disappointed

Beyond Nine Cat Rescue is a non-profit organization that is a no-kill shelter. They depend on volunteers (I know several very well) that work very hard. They come in and clean for several hours each day. For those complaining that it …

We met a few of the volunteers in PetSupermarket and they were so helpful as we determined if we wanted to bring home a cat. They let us have some time to bond with our cat in the back to make sure we’d all get along. Totally answered all of our questions, gave great insight and followed up with us. Needless to say, we adopted Rudy (we now call him Blue), and it’s been such a blessing! They take good care of their cats & their volunteers are knowledgeable and very caring.

The place on Dixie is wonderful. The cats are not in cages and they roam around. They get plenty of food and love from the volunteers. I wish every single kitty will be adopted soon, so I hope everyone who reads this will call to donate, adopt or volunteer.

These people keep their cats in a terrible and unhealthy abandoned home. Most cats in their are sick and not cared for. This place needs to be reported.
