Mutt Management Doggie Resort Nokomis, Florida

My favorite place to board my energetic boxador! They are wonderful with her. I love that the dogs get to run in pens and have some freedom instead of staying in crates all day. My dog comes home as happy as I left her ????

DANGER! I dropped off my perfectly healthy five-month-old puppy thinking she was in a safe environment. She spent two nights at Mutt Management. Upon my my arrival she was only able to walk on three legs. -Char assured me that it was just a pulled muscle and that she was fine. She stated it happened in the morning, however no one had called me throughout the day to inform me of the situation. Upon inspection I could see that our mid size puppy was clearly not OK. I immediately took her to her veterinarian. He could see that the leg was obviously inflamed. Upon x-rays she had a broken tibula and a separated growth plate. This will be requiring extensive surgery costing thousands of dollars. When I called Char to discuss it she was not willing to offer any solutions. Insinuating it was my puppy's fault had she have known this would happen she wouldn't of let her play with other dogs. I'm still not exactly sure what happened to my dog to cause this traumatic and life long injury? Not only was she not accountable, she gave very bad medical advice, which is outside of her scope of practice to my knowledge. Very sad...

We had to go out town unexpectedly. I was able to bring my baby in on a Sunday for 3 nights. Charlotte was so sweet and understanding. Our little Larry is a jerk to other dogs but Charlotte assured us he would be ok. We called after the second day and Larry was playing with all the other puppies. We were amazed. I think it was harder on us than him. We met Amanda when we picked him up. She was so sweet. Larry had been playing with her chihuahua. Again we were amazed. He tried to eat a chihuahua a few weeks ago. We will always bring Larry here. There is also a daycare for half days that we are going to start to socialize our baby. Anyways. We are very pleased. We felt like family and so did Larry. Thank you Charlotte!!!!!

I was having a hard time finding someone to keep my Mastiff Mix, Joplin, while I travelled for my niece's high school graduation. Charlotte was great, she suggested I bring her by for a couple hours to see how she did & make sure she would be okay there. She did great and was welcomed back to stay. Charlotte took great care of her and I will definitely be using Mutt Management again next time I travel. Thanks Charlotte!!

We take our lab, Clifford, to daycare weekly to Mutt Management Doggie Resort. Charlotte, Amanda, and Bruce take great care of him and have helped socialize Cliff to people and other dogs. My wife and I have been impressed with the staff's professionalism and genuine concern for our puppy.

A wonderful lady runs this place who really cares for the animals and lives on the property! Although our good girl had some severe separation anxiety, she was loved and cared for until we picked her up!

We bring our Tinker-bella. She loves to play with her furry friends at Mutt Management. Ms. Charlotte and Amanda are wonderful with our baby. We have used over night and doggie daycare services without issue. Tinker-bella is well cared for and loved by everyone while shes visiting.

Due to the covid-19 issue, camp bow wow was closed so we used Mutt Management for the first time. AND THE LAST TIME. Our 2 year old bassett hound has been in 2 different kennels with no issues, sometimes up to 2 weeks while we travel out of the country. And she looked happy when we would take her back to those kennels. We left her at Mutt management resort for 2 days and when we picked her up, she was visibly emotional, dehydrated, with an injury on her nose that the business owner could not really explain. The owner had promised a bath but clearly our dog had not been bathed. We highly recommend that if you love your dog, that you don't leave them at Mutt Management Doggie resort.

I have called and emailed this place and left messages for them to call me back with a quote on my 2 dogs for a week. They have not responded to me or returned my calls. Even if they are booked the respectful thing to do is let the person know. Even to let the person know your not interested in watching the dogs. If I could give them no stars for not responding I would.

Buster had a good time I think. He came back looking much better than he did when he went in. It's not fancy but the dogs get plenty of play time.

I would wholeheartedly and gratefully recommend Mutt Management. Lucca was very sad having lost his very old pack mate and moving into a town house. I learned about MM from a neighbor who raved about their daycare program. She was right. The facilities are clean and well taken care of and the owners and staff, Charlotte and Amanda are kind and professional. Bottom line, most importantly, Lucca, who had turned into a timid and sad boy is back to his cheery, bouncy self. Proof? Without being told, Lucca knows when it’s Mutt Management Playcare Day! He’s Ready!

Our dogs always come home so happy after staying with Mutt Mngmnt! Everyone is so friendly! The space is super clean and I know my sweet Yorkies are safe and with dogs their own size! Best bang for your buck in the area! You won’t find better!

When we went to Charlotte last year when we did our first cruise she was awesome taking care of my babies. Will be using Mutt Management next yr when we go on our second cruise.

Most all dogs love to explore and play - Charlotte, Amanda and the rest of their crew indulge dogs to whatever level of interaction they want/need. Best of all, you get maximum play for your dog but not at a higher cost. My two shih tzu's …

I have never been happier with another dog kennel before! My afghan 1 year old puppy is very attached to us and we had never left him for 10 days before. The owner, Charlotte, has much more experience with dogs than most kennel owners, as she has run her own kennel in the Sarasota area for many years. She is knowledgable of the different breeds, hygiene, health needs and social skills. She got my dog the minute she met him. She takes a personal interest in each and every dog that enters her doors. She is present and over-looking the operation and knows when and what each dog needs innately. The place is clean, kept up, and well run. She is aware of which dogs are friendly and lets my dog play with them to enhance social skills and exercise during his stay. Like that is not enough... Charlotte has a groomer, Amanda, who is the best groomer in town. She was able to detangle and bath my dog without pain, making him look like a beautiful Prince when I picked him up. I will continue to use Mutt Management for day care and overnight stays as long as I live in the Sarasota area.

I always have to sadly board my baby Mila for the holidays which are usually 1-2 week stays. I know she gets lots of love and play time and is very well taken care of here at mutt management so it’s always a relief to know she’s not in a crate all day and that someone is loving on her still. Unlike corporate companies, this one is genuine AND at a great cost. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with the care our 3 terriers received here. I was happy to be able to call & check in, as well as receive text updates & photos. We will use Mutt again for future care needs.
