I made a terrible mistake..the care here is horrible. If you love your dog go elsewhere please! Richard has been arrested several times. You can check it out.

Best boarding experience. Tere and Rick took great care of our Charlee for 9 days, engaging her with other dogs but being sure she didn't strain her recovering knee. No cages. Personal attention. Medication given. Great place. Definitely will use again.

Thanks to Tere and Rick - our Luna is fully socialized and great with other dogs. We leave her for doggie day care once a week, and we board her there whenever we travel. Over the last 20 years with a few different dogs, we have used numerous boarding places around Florida, and Dancin Dogs is hands down the best one we have ever used. I don't know what we (Luna included) would do without Rick and Tere. Thank you!!!

If you’re looking for people who genuinely love and care about your pups, this is the place to go! Great people, huge property for your dogs to play, and plenty of love from the owners.

They steal dogs! Also very dishonest. Please take your dog some place else before it's too late. Richard was charged with a Second Degree Felony. Be careful he doesn't corner you and beat you up too. He and Tere lied to the State Attorney to get their charges dropped but if anyone had checked they would have known they lied and would both be behind bars for a long time. I can prove anything I say!

They have always been so good to our pup! I love knowing she is loved on, well taken care of, and socialized when we leave her with Tere and Rick!

This is the best place in the world to bring your dog. We just moved away from the area and no kidding this is in the top 5 things we will miss most. Terry and Rick are like second parents to our best gal. They are so loving and amazing to our girl even though she can be a handful. The place it's self is great too! It's perfect. There are multiple large fenced in areas so the dogs all get to roam and run in large areas with other dogs they get along with. Seriously nowhere else like it. We miss you guys already!

My dogs love coming here. I'm very cautious with who cares for my pets, so finding this place was beyond perfect. Cage free kennel with playtime along with knowledgable and kind handlers. Could not ask for a better place.

I’ve been bring my fur babies here for over 3 years now. They are my pups away from home parents. Armani loves Rick so much sometimes he doesn’t want to come home. ???? my girl Dottie just loves Tere. I don’t have anything to worry about when my kids are here. They have fun, play and when they come home they are tuckered out. Hard to do with a Dalmatian and Catahoula but they do it. Oh did I mention both of my babies 6 & 2 yrs old are deaf. Excellent daycare parents!!!

We have been taking our dogs here for years. They are always so happy to go. It's a great feeling to know the furbabies are safe and are having fun. Definately recommend to those who want a piece of mind knowing they are being well taken care of when you drop off your pups.

This boarding place was top notch!!!! Such an amazing, genuine place. You can tell they love animals very much! I have a high anxiety dog and this was the best he has EVER done! Top notch air conditioning, T.V. for your dog, lots of love, and tons of land to run around in. Great prices and piece of mind!! I would not go anywhere else!!!! He even got a cute bag with his name on it at the end. Wonderful place!!

It's dog heaven. Tons of space for our dog to run and play safely. Rick and Terry treated her like their own. It was peace of mind to be able to leave her with them!

Iv taken my boy here multiple times and he loves it! Its one of the very few cage free places in the area and my Lodi never goes in a cage and requires A Lot of affection and attention, and they absolutely adore him and he comes home so happy every time! The dogs get to sleep in the house, he always comes home healthy and not even, Dirty. They offer cleaning and nail clipping and other grooming services as well. They are real dog people and I fully trust them with my boy. I had an emergency need of them this time I left town and called and they said they could take him right away and even offered to go pick him up so he wasn't alone any longer! I highly recommend these people and will always take my baby here :)

NEVER TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!!!!!!! This was the first time I've had to board my dogs and what I first imagined would be a great experience quickly turned into a horrific nightmare when I picked them up this morning. They failed to administer one of my dog's Trifexis the day it was due and Tere said it was "no big deal missing it since it was just Trifexis", "it was Christmas day a lot of dogs were on medications, so she got busy and sorry, but she just forgot". I expressed my disappointment as explicit instructions were left for medications and they failed to adhere to them as instructed. She facetiously commented, "well I can give it to him now!" She began accusing me of being rude when I promptly reminded her I have every right to be upset as a disappointed customer whose instructions left with them were completely disregarded. We got around to payment, which she had no invoice or receipt for as I requested before swiping my card and she again facetiously commented, "Well, we're not Pet Paradise!" I simply requested a receipt verifying payment, which she assured me the card swiper on her phone would send email receipt...which it didn't. While I waited for her to go inside and print out a paper receipt for me, I noticed one of my dogs (Leyna) licking at her front paw again. I had noticed it earlier when I arrived, but thought nothing of it until now when I found a huge GASH on the side of her right front paw pad, causing it to hang open (see attached photos). I inspected the rest of her body and found several other scrapes and cuts, but those appeared to be just from rough-housing with other dogs, so only the massive gash caused me great concern. After calling me vet to get her in ASAP, I rushed to the front door to confront them about this gash and Tere said, "Well I would've seen blood if it happened here." Mind you...we haven't even left the premises, so clearly this took place on their property. There is no speaking to this woman rationally, so as soon as I got me receipt, I rushed to the vet. I'm now home anxiously waiting for the call back from the vet after her procedure is complete. Her sedation and procedure begin around noon and is estimated to be completed around 2 or so. The estimated cost for such a procedure will be $552-667, which will be determined once they get in there to operate and see how severe the damage actually is. This has been the worst experience and it is only just beginning for Leyna and I. If you love and care for your dog's, DO NOT, I REPEAT...DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOG'S TO DANCIN' DOGS!!!!!!!

Great experience. They treat the dogs like they are their own! Our dog always has fun and loves being able to run freely and not confined in a crate.

Took my dog for a grooming, the owner and groomer came out to meet me and were friendly. My dog was groomed quickly and looked great!

Amazing! Tere and Rick are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They really know what they are doing and will treat your dogs like their own.

I too had a TERRIBLE experience here. I left my 9 month old pit bull for 1 week after reading great reviews and visiting the facilities, which are very nice looking. In hindsight, I should have picked up on Tere's reaction towards my dog when we checked it out: she seemed scared of my pup jumping on her and had no idea how to stop it. After just one day of boarding, I called to check on my dog, Maggie, and the woman told me she had to separate my dog because she was being aggressive with other dogs, which socked me because my dog is passive and will give other dogs her belly when meeting and she was already highly socialized. By the time I was able to pick her up, my pup had been transformed into this hysterical beast, running around like crazy, muscles tense, hair raised on her back and was not able to keep eye contact. Rick even suggested more than once that it was just her pit bull nature to be that way and that it was a matter of time before that aggression emerged (plus a little story of how they told a guy who worked in their house once to put his aggressive pit bull down). They even charged me double because she had to be in a confined place. I was shocked and in disbelief that my sweet pup had suddenly turned into a monster, so that very same day I signed Maggie up for dog training. Within a week and even before the training started my dog was back to her normal self. The training was great to get her to stop jumping, but that's about all the problems she had and NO aggression displayed whatsoever. Maggie is now a year and a half, living with our family and a new baby, and has not had a problem since. I do not know what happened at this place, but my dog was mistreated for sure. BTW, the people who run this place have no training themselves. If you want someone who will care well for your dog try Robin's Country Boarding and Dream Dogz Training.

Tere and Rick are most compassionate about the well being of your pet while you are away. Our dog gets so excited to see her friends there even when we are yet a mile away from the facility! Thank you Dancin' Dogs for treating our pet like your own!

This is the only place we will ever bring our Raina. They treat her like family. Raina loves to go there. I know when we leave her she will be well taken care of. Raina had been neglected before we got her, so she needs a lot of reassurance in new situations, and she gets that here. She comes home happy and tired. The two best things a dog owner could ask for when we pick her up from her puppy daycare stay.

Hands down the best boarding daycare in ALL of Florida. For more than a year now I have been traveling 5 hours (Each way) from South Florida to bring my Border Collie, Sierra, to Dancin' Dogs. I bring Sierra to the dog park 7 days a week. EVERY DAY, I don’t miss a day. She is a very high energy dog that needs lots of room and attention and Dancin’ provides both for her. In the past I have brought Sierra to many other boarding facilities all over Florida. When I bring her back to all these places it is like taking her to the vet to get a shot. Her tail would be tucked and she is always pulling towards the car. On the contrary, when we get near Dancin' Dogs Sierra starts to get excited. The same way she gets excited when we are approaching the dog park each morning. I travel a lot and for long periods of time. This last time I dropped Sierra off for three weeks. As usual she got more and more excited the closer we got. When I opened the car door she quickly leaped from the car and ran directly to the gate to get in. Before Sierra could even see Terri (the owner) she could hear her voice and that is when Sierra's tail started wagging from ear to ear. It makes me so happy to see this when I know I’m about to leave her for three weeks. Thank you Terri for having such a wonderful place that I look forward having my dog stay when I'm away. I miss her all the time, but I KNOW she is always having a good time when she is with you. Thank you very much!!!

This place is the best! they have a bunch a beautiful land that the dogs can run around in (with different fenced areas if any dog needs their own space) and a special couch/ pillow filled air conditioned house for the dogs to sleep in. It's like a vacation for our dogs when we have to leave them behind, so we never feel guilty! The dogs love it- they are so quick to jump in the car for dancing dog time and love the people who run the place. We pick them up and they are happy and exhausted from all the awesome playtime. Very reasonable fees and worth every penny! Thank you dancing dogs for being our dogs second home!

Horrifying. Never bring a pet that you care about here. I saw only the last review on here which was 5 stars and decided to trust it and try it out. I brought my 1 year old dog to this facility for boarding for a few nights while I was out of town and when I came to pick her up I was horrified by what I saw. My dog had been clearly neglected, and most likely abused. When I came the owners tried to tell me that she had run out of food JUST for dinner (though I had provided extra food just in case)- however when I saw my dog she had been starved for what looked like the duration of the time she spent there. All of her bones were showing and she did not even have the energy to greet me when I came. Instead she came to me-tail between her legs- and immediately lay down at my feet. (Again she is 1 year old. Her normal energy level is the complete opposite) She acted very timid, if not scared both towards me and the owners, and upon questioning the owners admitted that they could not handle all the dogs they had on site and ended up locking her away in a chain link fenced area by herself. I assume that after they made that move- it was the last time they went anywhere near my pup. She also came back with wounds all over her snout whether from fighting the fence she was locked in to get out or, God forbid, other and worse scenarios. I am writing this review for anyone who cares enough to look at reviews before putting their baby in a boarding facility.

What a wonderful place! The owners, especially Terri, really go out of their way to make it special. She knows all the dogs by name when they are playing and the dogs all feel very comfortable around her. The dogs have a ton of room to run and play, but also have their own doggy-house. Every time a visit, there are a bunch of dogs outside playing and I have never seen them all boarded up. There are separate areas if certain dogs get more aggressive, but otherwise they are all together. I can't believe I used to pay extra for "extra play time"... Dancin' Dogs in big, long playtime! My black lab, Chloe, can be a little shy and has gotten stressed at prior boarding places, but she seems to feel comfortable when really comfortable when I leave her here, although she is still very excited to see me when I pick her up (which I of course like). Best of all, Chloe is nice and tired for a least a day or two from all the running and playing she gets. The 20-minute drive for me from Gainesville is always worth knowing she will be well cared for, not boarded up the entire time, and will have plenty of fun!
