Glencoe Veterinary Hospital New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Called with a general question about bringing my cat in. Asked if there were any same day appointments the receptionist is very dismissive and said nope. Then I asked if there are any openings on a Saturday and she said they weren't open on Saturday. She was short and Curt with me didn't make any suggestions didn't offer any sympathy and did not suggest other times that could be available. I will go somewhere else

I brought in 3 large breed dogs. They are a handful. The staff there was very professional and happy to be there. Best Vet ever!

Definitely don’t recommend, continuously called the wrong number for updates, did bloodwork prior to neutering too early, and moved my scheduled neutering surgery twice before I said enough. I’m never coming back and I told everyone who recommended this place to me of the horrible experiences I’ve had here

Dr. Bryant is THE MOST compassionate, empathetic, accommodating, veteran of a veterinarian I have ever met. If there was a 100 star rating, I would give her a 101! And all the staff are excellent as well. They definitely exceed expectations. -Rocky Hill

Thank you guys for taking care of my boy Blackie Chan. He Loved all the scratches an cuddles he got while he was there. Also, thank you for going the extra mile and sending me to see the great folks up at the Emergency Animal Hospital to confirm his condition. Like you guys they treated me and Blackie very well and made every effort to make him feel loved and comfortable in his last moments.

Absolutely find another vet! When this place was actually run by Dr. Hutchinson (and she was there) it was very good but this place has morphed into one of those corporations that care for pets with a completely clueless and incompetent staff. The office manager is a nitwit (halfwit is too good for her) who just has a bad attitude. The only thing this place is good at is padding your bill and wanting to get paid. On two occasions they had difficulty drawing blood from our pup. In one instance, they handed us our baby while her paw was still bleeding with no bandage. That’s only the beginning of this nightmare. I’m not going to get into all the specifics but they had us come in for a spaying when Hutchinson was not available to do the spaying because she was on vacation. Hutchinson does laser surgery while the clown assistant doctor does not. Rather than reschedule us, they were going to butcher her with another doctor to do a regular spaying but failed because they were once again unable to properly draw blood. In fact, they drew blood from our pup’s neck; not on one side but both sides which is very dangerous. Just ask any vet. If you love your pet, find another vet as there are many in the area. This place is only interested in billing you and is totally incompetent and in fact a dangerous threat to your pet.

Very caring doctors and staff. Dr. Bryant cares about all her patients and their families. The best veterinary clinic in the area. She wanted to clarify a diagnosis so we needed a referral to a specialist. She found the perfect person in Ormond Beach. Dr.Brown is new to the practice, but is very knowledgeable. Definitely a place to take your 4-legged family member to be treated with medicine and love.????

I will start by saying several years ago I was singing the Praises for this veterinarian office. My wife and I really appreciated the doctors and the occasional house calls. But then my 21 year old cat became very ill and I needed to do something I did not want to do. So I called Glencoe because we have been there multiple time before with all our other cats. Call at 10 in the morning and they said the vet would call back. You guessed it no call back. I called back and made sure they had the correct number. Still no call back. I called the following day they told me the same thing that the doctor will give you a call later. Yep you guessed it no call at all. I had to use someone else to put my cat to sleep. Still have not got a call from them. I have always paid my bill with cash or debit card never crying over the price don't know why I was shunned like that. But please remember I was telling everybody to go there several years ago. We always had a good experience and our cats were very healthy. Won't be going back now.

Have been using Glencoe Veterinary for over 29 years. Very friendly staff and all the vets are very caring. Would recommend them highly.

This is by far one of the best animal hospitals around! Dr. Bryant is so knowledgeable and will diagnose your fur baby and do whatever it takes to help them. The staff is amazing and they always make you feel like your family! Keep up the great work ladies!

I had to put my best buddy "Cherokee" to rest as a result of Cancer. Dr. Bryant and her staff (Michele and others) were very compassionate and gave us the time, privacy and support that was needed. I got to hold him and pet him through the entire process. This enabled him to pass with the least amount of anxiety and allowed me to see and support his peaceful transition. Thank you Ginger. I miss and love you Cherokee. See you again one day.

I have been using Glancoe Vet for years and will continue to do so. Dr. Bryant is wonderful and so is all of the staff. Very sweet, caring environment. They really take time to give pets the BEST care... I have had to have 2 dogs put down in my time using Glencoe, and they made the process and transition so gentle and loving. The facility is clean and organized, and they do great at getting you in for an appointment as soon as possible. I would reccomend anyone with a pet that they love to use Glencoe for their vet needs.

Best staff and Dr. Bryant we ever had for our dog , our dog came from an abused home so he will be afraid and aggressive when going to the vet or groomer. We made our first visit and from the very moment we entered the staff made us and our dog welcome. They showed him kindness and treated him very gentle they worked with him through entire check up first time we never used a muzzle by the time we were leaving the examining room our dog was wagging his tail ! I would recommend Glencoe Veterinary Hospital to anyone , great staff great doctor . We just moved to Florida and we very happy to find such a great team.
