Dog Dayz Inn New Smyrna Beach, Florida

Diamond and I stopped in to say hello and visit prior to her stay while we are out of town for the holidays. Diamond is a rescued female black lab who was abused prior to our family adopting her. I had to wait for two other dogs to go in for day care and did not mind. Diamond and I walked around the front grass/entrance area and were also able to speak with a dog dad who is a regular at the Inn. The staff is very good about having you wait for the entrance to be clear before exiting or entering with your dog. I am new to boarding and daycare so I don't know all the rules. Diamond and I were made to get relaxed and comfortable once inside the office. We started with one staff member meeting and getting to know us. She offered Diamond a snack and then proceeded to sit down on the floor to interact with Diamond. I did the same. As other staff members and the owner came in they did the same! Diamond was very calm and comfortable. We were not rushed, all questions and concerns were answered by time we left. I instantly texted my husband and let him know that I had been guided to the proper facility for Diamond ????. We hadn't planned on needing to board her but plans changed within the past few weeks. I am feeling comfortable and confident that Diamond will enjoy her vacation and be well cared for during her extended stay. Follow review when we return home after boarding.

Best dog watching place around. Great to your dogs. They come home happy and tired

Just called to see about boarding my little morkie was told he could not be boarded there they 100% put all dogs together not for that so to everyone who wants your fur babies to be treated VIP this is not the place

Best dog daycare I've had.

I have taken my beagle to DDI for 9 years. The staff have fun and get to know each dog and its personslity, i now also take my 6 month old puppy there weekly to play w other dogs.

Great place to socialize your dogs!

I've been to several dog daycares around the country and this is the best one. I've got 2 shelter dogs and the larger one (90lbs) is a fear biter. Don knew exactly what to do and now both my dogs love going here. I recommend my friends and will never go to another place.

I love Dog Dayz Inn. Don, Lois and Crystal are very patient and accommodating with my unfriendly, quirky dog.

Donald, Lois, Crystal, Beth, Lola and all the staff at Dog Dayz Inn treat each and every pet like their own. We have brought our family dogs and cats here for 5+ years. The dogs have come for daycare as well as extended over night stays. My diabetic cat stayed with them while we went on vacation too. Off leash, doggie pools, ample shade and plenty of pasture to run. Dogs are separated according to size and demeanor. Brought inside to AC for cooling down time on hot days & sheltered during storms. Complete attention is given to the pets at all times. After a sweaty fun day, you can opt for bath time for a reasonable fee. Professional grooming is available as well. My mastiff would move in if I let him.

We found this AMAZING place for our sweet Lab puppy Jack by accident & my Lord God lead us there. Our puppy just had surgery & needed special after care * Dog Dayz provided that care! Cant thank them enough.. and Jack's doing great ❤

Highly recommend this place. It's a Dog Sanctuary there, and the staff seems to truly love the animals. This place came highly recommended to me and I see why. Thank you guys for taking care of Tinkerbell and Tank!

I finally stopped by to check this place out. I was very pleased with what I saw, as well as the friendly and helpful person who greeted me. We have not, as yet left our dogs there. But based on my experience, and the recommendations of others, I'm sure all will be well. Everything looked to be clean and safe. Dogs are segregated by size, with more than adequate space to enjoy a day here. I'm anxious to see how my dogs reaction to the place. They both love people and other dogs, so I expect a good outcome.

The website shows happy dogs and gives the impression of a clean facility. When I showed up I was a little skeptical. Dogs were barking and howling. It stunk something awful. Owners/workers had no control of the dogs. They shoved my girl out into the yard. She didn’t want anything to do with it. Her head ended up getting slammed in the door. I didn’t like that, obviously, but I figured she would start playing with the other dogs and she’d warm up. NOT THE CASE AT ALL! My girl is a sweet lover that loves the dog park and says “hi” to every human. When I picked them up my boy was ok, just tired. But my sweet girl was traumatized. Ears folded down, tail between her legs, a fresh gash above her eyebrow, and terrified of the owner. Her left shoulder is injured, hopefully just sore. Aside from the lack of control and compassion for new dogs I also asked for them to be bathed before I picked them up. We discussed price and I agreed to pay for it. She even asked if a little doggy cologne was ok, which I said yes. I called an hour before we planned to pick them up to make sure they were bathed. She said she thought I meant a different day...? Seriously? We were running 15 minutes late and I called to let them know. The look that lady gave me when I walked through the door could cut through silence. She charged me the extra price listed on the website, which I paid without question and got my babies out of that prison as fast as I could. So my dogs were left to the wolves in a stinky yard without proper supervision with rude incompetent owners and they smell like s***. Needless to say I will never be back.

Nice place treat your dog as there own

I have to say I am more than please with 'Dog Days Inn'. I bought my two dogs over a month ago for the first time ever boarding them at the age of 8 and 10. When I pick them up after 10 days, they were happy as ever. I just drop them off again last weekend and I had to smile as one of my dogs was 'smiling' as I drop them off. They were both happy and tails wagging to see everyone there. I went thru many reviews for many different places but you need to weed out the bad ones. I will say prior to my boarding, I had just stop by to see the kennel with no appt and was warmly welcome to see the kennel. I will agree with the owner's statement in one of the more recent reviews that they do not take any individual's dog bowls. My dogs have been groomed and bathed and I was extremely pleased!! This is a great place if you need a kennel as I feel they go above and beyond.

Dog Dayz Inn is the only place we leave our beloved Great Dane! Don and his staff are excellent caregivers! Chief loves his time there and getting to play with the other Great Danes. Dog Dayz Inn is kennel free and has the play yards separated by dog size. The staff is hands on and dedicated to the dogs’ safety, health, wellbeing, and overall playtime. I ask for (and receive) regular photos of Chief playing and I even get video clips! Chief always gets to enjoy a ‘spa day’ before we pick him up! I regularly recommend Dog Dayz Inn to other dog parents! It is THE ONLY place we trust with our big boy! When we pick him up he's thoroughly spent from playing so much! Once home, he sleeps so soundly that we know he enjoyed some fantastic playtime! Thanks, DDI!

It is a wonderful place we love it!

We are insanely protective of our standard poodle, Dexter, and the only place we feel comfortable leaving him when we travel is Dog Dayz Inn. The staff is friendly and caring - they always give me a rundown of Dexter's stay. Lois does a wonderful job of giving Dexter a 'spa treatment' before he goes home, so he looks and feels great. They listen to feeding instructions and let us know if Dexter ate, or (as he sometimes is) was finicky. Dexter jumps out of the car and runs into the office when we arrive, and that is very unusual - he loves it! We are so thankful that we found Dog Dayz Inn!

Great staff and facility. My dog loved it there. Dogs are free to run and play with each other which was very important to me and my dog Jersey. Intake and pickup were easy. I will take him again.

Just love it wound not put my dog any other place. Phoebe loves to play with other dogs and also have fun with the staff.they are very kind to her

Dog Dayz takes such great care of Chloe! She comes home exhausted and clean! She sleeps for a couple of days, haha. They love her like I love her :-)
