A kind office with kind and incredibly intelligent, compassionate staff. The doctors there have gone above and beyond for the health and wellbeing of pets in their care. Angels with feet work there.

I took my 17 year old dog to get his tooth removed (he had an absess on his cheek) and a wart on his eyelid removed. He got anesthesia and the wart removed, but not the tooth because they said there was nothing wrong there. For that, they charged a lot already. A week later, the absess came back, I took him again, and they washed their hands saying that they couldn't treat him anymore and we should take him to a specialist. So, they charged me for basically doing nothing and they wouldn't help my dog anymore. The wart on his eyelid came back by the way. I ended up taking him to another vet, who mentioned he has several tumors through his body, but this facility never mentioned anything about that either. Horrible experience, would never recommend them.

This office is always so kind and responsive. I love we can do drop off visits and quickly get a phone call back with treatment plans, etc. They respect my choices and are cheerful everytime.

We love Dr. Curtis and the staff. They helped us so much with the care and treatment of our dog with cancer. Prices are also very reasonable.

I can't thank Palmetto Animal Hospital enough for taking my critical cat when his regular vet was out on vacation.I thought I was going to lose my baby and Palmetto was able to get him in immediately and get everything under control and get him back home to me in 3 days.Forest is extremely happy to be home and I am forever grateful to your staff and Vet for helping my baby get better.Thank you thank you!

When I first called they gave me an appointment for the next day. One of my boys don’t like strangers and he did great on his appointment. The doctors and staff are caring and very professional. Everything was on time and they kept me informed every step. Finn and Poe found their Dr.

My Siamese, Nestle, was seen in an emergency condition. Care was given quickly and professionally. I feel very confident of the care given to my pet.

I have taken all my fur babies here for over 10 years. The staff all look after them, and me for each visit. I'm grateful for them.

great staff, but very expensive I spent over $800 on 2 visits 1 with xrays.

I received a written estimate two weeks before the appointment and went over it again with a tech the morning of the procedure. Because my cat may have eaten before the procedure I agreed to an additional $25 shot to keep my cat from vomiting under anesthesia (this was a verbal estimate that was incorrect). When I came to retrieve my pet, the receptionist told me it would be nearly double the original estimate (original was $130, she wanted to charge me almost $260). I asked her why it had changed so much, and she sent a tech out to talk to me. The tech was nice and apologetic but said that they had quoted the price for the wrong procedure. I said that I had budgeted for a certain amount and that I shouldn't be expected to pay for their mistake. And why didn't anyone call me prior??? He said he would get the office manager but came back out with the tech manager who pretty much told me I was out of luck. She also wanted to charge me a different price ($230) but then said she would take $35 off. I was so flustered and upset that I gave her my credit card and got my car finally and got out of there. I will never go back. This is so unprofessional I can't even believe it. Edited to add - I have received expired medication from the vet in the recent past and had to dispute a charge for a blood pressure check after the vet told me that the machine was broken and it was never done. Not good.

I cant say enough good things about the staff and care here!! They care about my babies like their own! I'd never take them anywhere else. Thank you thank you for all you do!

We have been owner patrons of PAHC for 12 years, multiple animals. We’ve been through good and bad with our pets health. I cannot say enough about this office and it’s staff. From our beloved Argentine Tegu to our “worth his weight in gold” dog; routine visits, being hit by a car, eating sand, and even a humane euthanasia- the professionalism, expertise, compassion, and respect we have received time after time is always without fail. It starts in the front and extends to the back. I feel like my animals are/were part of their family. I can’t thank them enough for all the moments over these past years, and the years to come- because we won’t be leaving this office.

Received a phone call from an employee who basically called me a liar, when my pet had been there for a cleaning under no anesthesia. I ordered a medication that was perscribed for her health because of her gum disease by a previous dentist that I transfered from. They claim they did not have the record when they clearly did. The thing that upest me was the staff member hung up on me and was quite interuptive and would not here me out regarding my pet. Not sure now how they may have treated her the last 2 times I was there since I was not able to be with her. Very unprofessional and basically just want your money.

We have been going to Palmetto Animal Health Center for the past 11 years. We are extremely happy with Dr. Curtis. She and her staff are very conscientious and caring. We recently referred our new neighbor to Palmetto, and she was very thankful and satisfied.

We ve received services from Palmetto over the past year when we eventually had two of our senior shih tzu's euthanized after many years in their lifetime home. Employees are top notch. Super compassionate and helpful. Our family thanks you for your help in our times of need.???? Zoe and Duke our loved ones.

Our dog Trigger was in serious pain with a spinal infection they literally took him in immediately got him on antibiotics muscle relaxers some painkillers and had a recheck today is doing much better but he's going in for a much-needed teeth cleaning I cannot tell you how important that is for the health of your dog. They have been amazing understanding compassionate and Dr. Curtis is so sweet and understanding. All the staff were great, as our furbaby can be a handful. Thank you!!!

Totally got ripped off! $1000+ for an ear infection, $250 for an allergy shot and I never met the doctor. I have to sit in the parking lot like a dog while they take my credit card and charge whatever the hell they like! I hope nobody gets caught up in this scam! Be careful!

I thought my girl was dying...we just moved here from Ohio in October and they got us in and i get to keep my copilot more years! Forever grateful

We have taken our Marley Meatball here for dental services. They are top notch! My son also brings his dog here because they treated our Marley so well. Thank you Palmetto!!

I finally got a confirmed diagnosis of my fur baby, Indy, for a lipoma on her right flank. Thank you. I don't need to worry, now.

I've been taking my cats here for the last 3 years. I like all of the vets (though I have my favorites!). The staff has always been really nice and I appreciate the fact they stay open late on weeknights as it really help me.

I had to bring my baby in right at closing after being attacked by a dog. They took him in immediately and were so amazing and caring. Thank you so much for caring for my little baby!!

UPDATED REVIEW: In reply to Dr. Curtis' response to my original review, I have removed that portion of my posting to avoid additional unfounded accusations of slander. However, I have every one of Lily's medical records from every vet she ever saw since the day we adopted her 15 years ago, including written communication, receipts, diagnosis, and general health data that was given to me by Dr. Curtis' staff after each of Lily's appointments. If this information is "untrue" then shame on the individual that provided it. RIP Tiger Lily
