Flamingo Road Animal Hospital Miramar, Florida

I made an appointment to be seen at 10am on 12/29 (been almost a week since). There was problems at first since i got there 15 minutes before my appointment and the place seemed to be closed and no one was answering the phone. I called about twice before the third time, I finally got answer and was told the vet was indeed inside with a client (the parent of the dog was outside sitting in their car therefore believed it). I sat in my car for about an hour before anyone was able to see me but once I was in, the annoyance subsided because the vet and the tech were very nice to me and my pup. The vet explained everything to me in detail (she speaks spanish for my non-english speakers, seems like everyone is bilingual). She gave me an estimate and went down the list explaining every procedure and medication that my dog was going to have and need. I had to leave my dog at the clinic and she still wasn’t ready to be picked up when I got there, but the vet did come out and told me what was left, what tests she has already done and their results. As my dog is my emotional support dog, this was a huge thing for me. Like I mentioned, it’s been almost a week and my dog’s symptoms have subsided and this vet has been the very first one out of 4 other vets that i’ve seen to have a breakthrough. I have gone again today (1/3) as I needed to pick my dog’s meds and the vet came out and greeted me and checked on my dog really quickly (not more than a minute) and she assured me she’s getting better as an overall view, also a huge thing for me as a doggie parent. It’s truly the small things they did and I will be coming back and recommending them.

12/07/2021 I will no longer be taking any of my babies here, this facility is EXTREMELY EXTREMELY INFORMAL. they are never here at opening time and they are they make it an hour or even longer after opening time. if you have an appointment at opening time or anywhere near that time good luck being seen by the Dr or anyone at all. I needed to schedule a stitch removal for my cat ( a quick 15-20 min appt by the way ) so i made the appointment at 7:00pm. i showed up at 7:00 and no one was here, i waited 30-40 mins and still no one had shown up. i had called multiple times and no answer, when i called again around 9pm i actually got an answer and told them no one was here for my appointment. they lied and said someone was there at 7:15pm. they then told me to come again either Saturday or Sunday and to call around 8-9 pm before coming in. Saturday and Sunday came around i called when they said to call and oh what a shock NO ONE ANSWERED. I came in again on Wednesday ( today 12/07/2021 ) since the lady who answered the phone told to come if i didn't go Saturday or Sunday, yet again i waited for someone to show up and no one did. i ended up leaving at 6:30pm to go to another vet that said theyd remove his stitches. ITS BEEN 3 WEEKS THAT MY CAT HAS BEEN LIKE THIS SINCE HIS SURGERY. i understand this isnt life or death for my cat but it definitely and incredibly informal to keep me and their patient waiting and not caring about our time. therefore i can confidently and undoubtedly that I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE THEY ARE SUPER INFORMAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

I made an online appointment. I'm currently sitting outside and the lights are off, I'm calling and NO OME answers! This is really bad customer service, the hours are suppose to be 6pm to 2am. It's currently 7pm ????

Stay away from Dr.Alexis Schuman she does botched surgeries on pets.

When we were having an emergency with our dachshund Lola, me and my family came to this animal hospital late at night and were met with nothing but kindness. The employees at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and Dr. Schulman was I simply amazing. She was incredibly professional and treated Lola with so much care, and felt so much better because of her help. I wholeheartedly appreciate everything she did, and would recommend this place to anyone!

There's a place where animals are treated with kindness, love and compassion; this clinic is that place. When our furrybabies are sick , nothing is more disheartening than to watch them suffer. Thank you, Dr Schulman. You are a God sent. Knowledgeable, patience and most important, makes you feel at peace as a pet parent. Also, awesome prices, lots of specials. Farmacy,lab,x-rays, etc in situ.Best Vet I've been to. Need a Dr for your pet? This is it.

Flamingo Road Animal Hospital is by far the best animal hospital. They were very nice! I definitely would recommend to any pet owner and would come back if I did have another emergency. They helped me right away and gave me all the answers I needed. Thank You! 10/10

The staff and the doctor where both very friendly. They provided quick and professional service. They were obviously knowledgeable and I even learned a few new things about my dog's condition that I hadn't previously been told by my regular vet. I could not give 5 stars based on pricing. Every item on my bill was marked up by at least 33%, that is in addition to the highest Emergency Room fee in the local area ($150 just for the office visit). I was charged over $500 for my dog's allergic reaction.

I made an appointment online for my dog whose coughing uncontrollably. I called the hospital several times before arriving to make sure they were open & no one picked up the phone. I went anyway because I had limited options and my dogs cough is very bad. I arrived and two staff members were closing down the office and came outside to tell me the Dr left. They claimed to have called me and left a message but I received no calls or messages. This is horrific and I would never come here ever again.

Dr Schulman is great! Took my dog memorial day and she definitely took care of us.

LOVE LOVE LOVE, Dr.Schulman was so down to earth and so sweet and the prices you can't beat, she genuinely cares. I brung my baby bunny kangoo in she's been itching at the ear, the Dr was so nice and caring and gave her some treats while treating her skin and giving me good knowledge, she had patience and took her time with kangoo, the place is amazing and so clean and her daughter and the other employees were very nice, thank you guys im so happy kangoo has a good primary doctor, I definitely recommend to bring your rabbit here, kangoo is doing better, oh and the hours of operation is very smart and different, usually the weird things happen towards night so that was a very smart Idea, Thank you Monifa & kangoo

The Dr was thorough when explaining the findings. She is a very pleasant person. The staff was great and this is the place I would visit if another emergency exist. The place is very modern & up to date..

Very clean office and rooms. The Dr is very helpful and informative and treated my 6 lb baby so very gently and lovingly.

They took great detail with my pet and spent however much time was needed. Also answered all my questions.

Misdiagnosed my pet and I had to take him to a different hospital. Dr. Schulman would not take responsibility for her mistakes when I advised her she prescribed him the wrong medicine. When I already paid $$$$ amount in his original medical bills. Dr. Schulman was unprofessional and rude. I should of known better not to continue services when the facility was dirty and terrible customer service skills, first and last time. Do no go there!!! Trust a more knowledgeable vet if you love your pets.

We took our 2 new 8 weeks old Boxer puppies today to Flamingo Road Animal Hospital and to see Dr Schulman for their first check up and chip placement. From the minute you walk in you can feel the true love for the puppies from the front office team to the Dr and her technician. Both puppies got a full checkup and vaccines and not one showed any discomfort. The facility is brand new with all the high-tech modern equipment. We love this Hospital and Team, thank you Dr Schulman and see you in one month for the next visit.

Took my dog here and it was a wonderful experience

Doctor and staff and very professional and helpful. The clinic is clean and really nice. Finding it is easy if you know it’s in the new Mall called The Grove at Miramar.

We had a great experience!! Took our guinea pig to get checked out due to a surprise pregnancy!!! The staff was so welcoming and very knowledgeable!!! Great location and very clean!! Thank you guys again!!

The Vets are the nicest most professional with my doggies, I love this place

Very good customer service! Took our pregnant guinea pig a week ago and went for a follow up two days ago. She just gave birth this morning to 5 little pups! They called today to make sure everything was okay. Very thankful for the help we received.
