Horrible experience. I showed up for my boarding appointment and ended up leaving to take her elsewhere, especially when I found out that they leave the dogs from 6 pm to 7 am alone with no supervision. Also, I booked my appointment to leave my dog for boarding after they told me their renovations would be completed by the time I brought her in. When I went in, it looked like they had just started construction and there were screws and nails on the floor around the area where the dogs were playing.

This place ud beautiful and amazing they treat our babies with love.

We have been bringing our Havanese dogs to Pet Poodle Resort and Spa for 6 years. My girls absolutely love Helen and her team and so do we. Helen is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, loving, caring and attends to the needs of each dog in her care.

Pet Poodle has been the home away from home for all 4 of my dogs. they receive the most caring, secure and balanced environment. they go for daycare, baths and resort like style when i go away because is only fair that they receive the same type of treatment. Our dogs have been well cared for and very happy when they attend Day Care, Boarding, and have had excellent grooming experiences. Pet Poodle is extremely clean and professionally run. The staff is well trained and kind. The owner is thorough, detailed, honest, and knowledgeable. Pet Poodle and Helen have been a second home and family to our dogs and to us for over 5 years. Every business owner should be as passionate and reliable.

To leave a dog with Helen Fajardo at Pet Poodle is the same as leave the dog with a loving family member. She is the best in West Aventura and in Florida. The new place looks spectacular. Simply the BEST in town.

I remember the first day I brought my Jewel to meet Helen (owner). I was impressed by Jewel and Helen’s immediate chemistry. It did not take long for me to understand , Helen is all about the caring, health and loving of each and every one of her dogs. Details details details are important to Helen for the individual care and well being of our fur children. Helen and her staff provide it. If jewel could speak for herself, she would describe her spa days filled with sunbathing and lots of hugs and kisses. My dogs were very unhappy. Thats not the norm there usually happy but they just laid around when they got home.

I have been taking my Chica to Pet Poodle for years. Helen and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about various dog breeds. She noticed Chica’s allergies before I did. She always turns my “shaggy pup” into a true “princess pup” ????????????. Congratulations on the new place, it’s beautiful!!

The best place for my dog and cats

My dog Leo has been going to Helen’s Pet Poodle since he was a puppy for bath, grooming, daycare and also boarding. She is honestly “the dog whisperer” All the dogs adore her and love spending time there as well. Everything Helen and her team do at Pet Poodle, they do with love and passion. That is priceless! I trust her 100% with my Leo and have sent a lot of people with their dogs, to her throughout the years because of this. So grateful for her and Pet Poodle. She just opened her doors to her new location and it’s meticulously designed for all of your dogs needs. Highly recommended! My little fury son has been groomed and housed by Pet Poodle for 8 years. My fury son is well taken care of and staff care so much about fury pets. It give me piece of mind knowing that he is well care for when I have to go away for several days. Pets are always checked before entering the resort. My dog love daycare he gets to play with his friends and by the end of the day he is so tried and ready to go home. Great place to take your fury child.

Nitro has been visiting Pet Poodle resort and spa for 4 years. The new building and facilities are awesome. The owner and her assistants love their customers and take such good care of them. All four legged customers are happy campers. After a day of grooming and day care, my Nitro can’t wait to go back again and play and socialize with all his friends.

I am so happy to share my experience with PET POODLE RESORT AND SPA. I feel like it would be selfish to keep it to myself as it has been so positive. I moved to Aventura in the Summer of 2016 with my dog Bijou (Havanese) from Louisiana. The move was very stressful for both of us and I needed to find a great place for Bijou to go play with furry friends during the day or have sleep over as needed. It was very important that the place met some criteria I had set up: PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, COMPETENT, LOVING and SAFE. In the process I visited several places in the area including around Miami and Broward. After thorough review the decision was easy: PET POODLE RESORT AND SPA met all the criteria and more. Almost 4 years later I never regretted my decision and came to love the place more and more. It delivers MORE and PLUS. it has become a second home for Bijou for: DAY CARE, GROOMING AND BOARDING. The place smellS good, not that chemical smell common to most doggy day care, the dogs are free to go in and out to the park like secure back yard. I have never seen a dog in a kennel there. They listen to Helen who sometimes can bribe them with delicious FORZA treats kept in a crystal bowl. As a "lagniappe", often we the parents are taught some clever tricks to make our furry kids more adorable companion. I know I have learn a lot about caring for dogs just by bringing Bijou there. Of course I can't end without mentioning the special customized videos you get featuring your pet for special holidays or JUST BECAUSE or when the dogs are boarding. For all the Hollidays the place is decorated like a magic palace and can really change you mood. Thank you Helen and staff for the outstanding, excellent place you are providing for our fury kids and making us feel so welcome and special.

I called today for a grooming appointment and was told my dog is too old and she is too busy.

My dogs have been clients at Pet Poodle Resort and Spa for 10 years. Helen and her entire staff have been like part of our family. They love my dogs and take care of them like I do. I love that they have so much room to play around and are not caged. The spa is beautiful and the services are absolutely amazing. I feel confident to leave them here when I am out of town. I recommend Pet Poodle Resort and Spa.

The owner Helen is ver ruse, do not go there..... She insulted my wife big time because my little 4lb dog peed on her floor so she screamed at my wife and told here that we should not bring the dog back to her again, after we have been loyal customers for almost 8 years. Guess what I am not coming back there I will give my money to those who know what customer service is.... and on top of that she did not report to me that she cut my little dog in the belly, unbelievable I do not recommend to anyone

I love this place! This place is totally zen for pets! The decorations during the holiday season is fantastic and this place is definitely all about cats and dogs. She made a kitty tunnel so the cats can run around the whole place without interfering with the dogs. This place is perfect for day care and grooming. Helen does a fantastic job with both cats and dogs. I'm so glad that my friend referred her to me.
