Taking my dogs to Dadeland Animal clinic is always a great experience.

My family and I have been taking all of our animals here probably since 2000. So go figure, clearly this place provides quality healthcare for your pets. Anytime we've had to do a procedure that was costly, the staff would work something out with us which is a huge relief when all you're focused on is the well-being of your best friend. Now, you're probably wondering why I only gave this place 4 stars, well... The front office seriously needs to up their game when it comes to protocols regarding after-care instructions and communication. The vet techs and the front office staff communicate just fine, but sometimes the information comes across as very general and sort of dismissive. In regards to the after-care instructions, those instructions should NEVER be verbal. There needs to be a written and printed list of instructions in English and Spanish for all clients regarding the care of their pet after a procedure. If you go to urgent care for a headache and they send you home with Tylenol, you also get a 4 page essay worth of instructions on how to take the aforementioned Tylenol and when. This should be the same protocol for the care of our pets. Our dog just had a procedure for tooth removal and it went amazingly well thanks to the great staff, where they sorta dropped the ball, was that we were sent home with medication and only verbal instructions on how and when to administer it. Sure, the instructions were written on the bottles, but in size 2 font. When your dog is howling in pain at 3am, you're going to want to refer to a clearly printed list of instructions and suggestions, not a simple line of text on a bottle the size of a AA battery.

I've been with them for over 14 years and they always treat our fur babies with love, compassion and excellent medical care!

Great service all around with reasonable pricing for removing 4 teeth for my 13 year old fur son Diesel. Thank you Jane (office manager), Dr. Escobar and the nurse (forgot her name) all treated me, and more importantly Diesel with love and concern. I was looking for a vet to take me on short notice. Nobody was able to take me on a Saturday. They were able to take me in immediately. There first consult was free for being a first time patient. Dadeland Animal Hospital is the best! Shoutout to everyone that was working yesterday when I brought the hurt stray cat in. A special thanks to Brooke for leading me in the right direction for resources for the cat. Everyone there is so kind and willing to assist. Excellent veterinary service. Clean, clean, and clean. Great space not congested with over crowding patients. Staff is the best. Very impressed with the Veterinarian, especially considering the grave condition of my dog. Very attentive, and his diagnosis was spot on. Prices were very reasonable. Service was quick and efficient. Then it was their follow-up the next day. I was previous a Veterinarian Technician with the US Army, and believe me I know my clinics and hospitals, and I would rate this one high on my list.

My family just moved here from Atlanta, and we needed to establish a vet, so I just googled to find the most highly rated ones and the most highly rated was this one! I can see why! From the sweet receptionists that helped us schedule ASAP to the great techs and the amazing & hilarious Dr. Davila, we love it here and have found our veteratrician home ????

This practice is amazing. My dog injured her leg and my current vet was fully booked and could not see her. I went to the ER and waited 3 hours without being seen. Out of desperation, I called Dadeland Animal Hospital and explained my situation. They work with a rescue that I support and I had heard wonderful things about them. They told me to come on over and they would make time to see my dog. They were so compassionate and kind. They rushed us in to a room to wait for the veterinarian even though we were not actual clients. The vet saw us, diagnosed the problem, popped my dogs knee back in to the socket and sent us home with pain meds and anti inflammatories. They didn’t even charge me for the office visit....just the meds. Truly amazing! Then they even texted me the next day to see how Lulu was doing. I cannot thank them enough!!

The whole staff was friendly and attentive. The vet was very knowledgeable and avoided any unnecessary tests. I would highly recommend it.

Fair pricing great service would rather drive the extra miles to take my animals here.

Service was okay. attended fairly quickly, very nice customer service, I just don’t know if they take their time with explaining medications, or why they are going with this plan of action, why they are prescribing them, she sends a tech that didn’t even know how to pronounce the medications and didn’t really explain them thoroughly. Wish I had more of a breakdown of my pets bloodwork, not just assume they have something just because they came from a breeder.

This place will will take your money, only come here if you want your money taken seriously

Dr Davila is very professional and explains very well what's my baby problem . I'm glad I have this clinic near my home , I even get an appointment for the same day I called .

Since my kids were babies, (they are now adults) we have been searching for a Veterinary clinic where Doctors and staff would be, caring, loving, kind, honest, genuine, knowledgeable, professional, conscientious, compassionate, patient, understanding, thorough, that would not make you feel that you were just a number and would take the time to explain and provide issues and options, but also be honest in reference to the options and the outcome, where the Doctor's would genuinely feel your pain or concern. FINALLY I have found it in DADELAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL, unfortunately under very sad circumstances. We brought in our beautiful Dachshund Mindy who had fallen ill, she was seen by Dr. Davila who was amazing, a wonderful Doctor/person, he walked outside to personally give me the sad diagnosis. He also spoke over the phone with both my son and daughter in law, my son who is in the Military stationed outside of Florida was devastated, Dr. Davila along with Tommy the Tech (who was also awesome), were so accommodating, they were willing ready and able to get on the phone with my son and explain the issue, and also comfort him. They took the time to make sure we chose what was best for our baby Mindy, they thoroughly explained the options and outcome and allowed us to choose by providing all details, we knew it wasn't good. My son wanted to say goodbye and be able to spend her last days with her but could not get a military leave so the only option was facetime, Tommy helped us set up face-time right in the car as he brought her back to us. That evening I was able to face-time with my son where he saw Mindy and spoke to her. With a heavy heart I have to say she passed the next afternoon. She was at home where she spent almost 14 years, she was in her bed, in her surroundings and even ate before she left us. She suffered heart failure and Dr. Avila immediately diagnosed her, had it not been for Dr. Davila and Tommy this horrific sad time would have been so much worse. They made the difference by preparing us and being so attentive, accommodating, kind and caring, I know Mindy felt genuine care when she was being seen by Dr. Davila. he also administered a shot to make her breathing more comfortable by eliminating fluid.They were extremely sweet and loving with her.. After she passed I called them and they were about to close yet Lory told me they would wait for me, upon arriving Tommy was there to meet me and provided comfort and kind words, when I drove away I felt peace knowing that I had left her in great loving hands. They are taking care of her private cremation, they will call me when she is ready to be picked up so we can once again bring her home where she will for ever remain with us.. They expressed how sorry they were for our loss and I know they genuinely meant it. Thanks to Dr. Davila, Tommy and Lory who made this painful experience a more peaceful one knowing that everything that could have been done was done and that I had her in excellent care. DADELAND ANIMAL HOSPITAL will be my other furry babies forever clinic. They are truly the best and one of a kind, I have been to at least 15 Vets throughout our life time and none would fill my whole list of requirements, Dadeland Animal Clinic and Dr. Davila DID! So refreshing to know and to feel peace in my heart knowing that I have found the ones! From my initial phone contact I felt that this was a place that really cares for animals and not for the money or profit they could gain on anyone's pain.That they were honest and aren't there to fill their pockets by ripping off customers as others do. The only regret I have is that I didn't find them from the first day I had my first furry baby. I am whole heartedly grateful and appreciate the care they gave Mindy! I am so relieved and at peace that I have finally found the Clinic that I will blindly trust to provide excellent care to all my fur babies!! I can't thank you enough, continue to be who you all are, THE BEST! R.I.P. in Furry heaven, our Beautiful Mindy, you and Keanu are together again!

I've been going to this hospital for years but the addition of Shanna and Tommy have put them over the top in professionalism and attentiveness. Shanna's attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond has eases the difficulties that come with caring for an aging animal. I came here Friday concerning my dog “Fritz” because he had some minor problems I needed fixing and I came here and the staff were so attentive and caring . Dr.Davila was so helpful and came out to my car and told me the information I needed to here for Fritz . I definitely will keep coming here for his future appointments . Brought my pet for Dr. Davila to examine, the technician Shanna came out and listened to all my concerns about my pet. Shortly I received a call to address all of my concerns and how to proceed with treatment. Prices were reasonable to nearby clinics and all staff members were very nice and brought my pet out to me wearing a bandana. I've never seen Yogi leave the vets office happier than he did that day! These folks are wonderful. After moving down here from Montreal, I was trying to find an exotic vet for my guinea pigs and have been very happy with their help and support. Reasonable prices, good availability, and pleasant staff!

JoJo came to our rescue mid August as an urgent request from Miami Dade Animal Shelter. The vets and staff at Dadeland Animal Hospital did a tremendous job of cleaning/treating him and making him feel better. His wounds healed, they neutered him and JoJo has an adoption application pending !!! This was our first rescue experience with this vet clinic, we will definitely be back with another one that will need medical care. This is JoJo before and after

One of our three dogs Zoey has been in Dr. Falco’s care from an early age, he has seen her through two ACL surgeries and stem cell replacement therapy on her hip and knee as he never gave up on doing everything possible to give her the best possible chance of running and playing again, however, several years after one of the ACL surgeries, Zoey’s body started rejecting the plate, so Dr. Falco contacted surgeon who performed the ACL surgeries and the plate was removed. Unfortunately, a few days later Zoey was a bad girl and decided to remove her own stitches. We brought her back and once again another doctor at the facility stitched her up, but those stitches never took, as they were a bit too heavy for the knee area, I was extremely frustrated that Zoey would have to go under once more and be re-stitched. Although the location that needed to be stitched was in a bad spot, we were lucky enough to have Dr. Falco step in and get creative in how he was going to re-stitch her so that they would hold until she could heal. Today, after another 10 days, we removed the stitches and Zoey is back to her normal self. I can’t say enough about how Dr. Falco stepped up and researched the best possible way to get Zoey back on her feet. Dr. Falco was very kind, understanding of the frustration we were feeling and he has always shown great care and affection for all our dogs, especially Zoey. Thank you Dr. Falco and staff for your patience during this extremely trying process!!
