Canine Counselors have been my 3 dog's trainers for the past 17yrs. First, Puchi in 2004, he was the perfect host to all the dogs & cats that visited us, plus the sweetest hubby to celebrity dog "Cosita" from Despierta America, she was also trained by Canine Counselors. Then in 2018, Tebow my rebellious Maltese/Chihuahua who gave his trainer the hardest time, but learned all his lessons and obeys now really well. And most recent the 2021 graduate, Buck, he's the sweetest! He loved his trainer Raquel, she was loving but disciplined him to learning all the commands. Raquel has an intuitive heart that feels & understands what the dogs may be struggling with and she corrects while putting them at ease that he’s going to be okay. She was super considerate with gestures when our senior dog Puchi passed away, she gave the other 2 buddies their time & space to mourn and then resume clases with Buck. I'm so grateful to have had such great trainers for all my dogs, throughout the years and even my grandpup Penny Lane Perez. Thank you all for your help, service & expertise. My go to trainers forever. Did I mention I have another grandpup? Here comes Koda Mochi Corriero.

We have had a great experience. Raquel is our trainer and has changed our lives. Not just because of her professionalism, but also because of the love she genuinely has for our dog. This makes all the difference!

Unfortunately we tried this company twice, and first time was problematic to schedule the training with the options they provide but the second time it has been impossible. They sale a great method and that they will be able to accommodate to your schedule because they have several trainers but once to contract and start with one if the trainer cannot adjust schedule then its up to you to accommodate at their availability In our case almost 3 months have passed and have requested several time to either change trainers (we have only done 1 session with the first) or to help us with scheduling but has been impossible

OMG Stephanie is the best. These people are in the business for love and passion for their trade. I highly recommend this , especially to Husky owners!

We adopted Sadie when she was 1 and she was a fearful/anxious and aggressive dog given her past with the owners she had. We had a lot of behavioral issues like pulling the leash, crying when she didn't get what she wanted, barking or even attacking other friendly dogs. The trainer Danielle really helped us understand the dog and gave us tools so we can best handle those behavioral issues we had with her. Definitely recommend her as a trainer, she really listened to all of our needs and helped us week by week transform Sadie into an obedient polite dog. Thank you Danielle for the incredible work you did for us! Canine Counselors really prepares you for a happy life with your dog and is there for you every step of the way!

I needed to discipline my puppy and after 6 weeks of training she is exactly the same. The trainer we got was very nice and overall a great person but my puppy didn’t change. The main reason I decided to train her with canine was because the day the person came to our house he had they could help with the biting which was my main issue. It was going good at first but then after about the 3rd week she didn’t learn anything else. The sessions were more of a play date than a training session. She started biting again and I think she is worse now then before. Update: after I gave 3 stars I was called from the office and they set up an appointment to see Peter. He was very nice and helped a lot. He gave many good tips and showed us what we were doing wrong and what to do to change our dogs behavior. So far I am very happy with how he addressed the issue and i believe my dog will improve with time. Thank you canine Counselors.

I am SO happy I contacted Canine Counselors!!! My dog is now a brand new dog. Mike is an EXCELLENT trainer! My dog learned so fast and with such ease, it surprised everyone! Thanks again to Mike and Canine Counselors for their help!

When you pay almost $900 for a dog training program, you should at least expect to have some handouts or a basic training guide to refer to in case you forget something. Our trainer only provided the training verbally, I had to get my phone and start taking notes. Also, their training method is extremely harsh, the trainer hit our 3 month old puppy very hard, he said that how you correct a dog! Not sir, we won’t correct our puppy that way. When we called to complain, the Director went on and on about how experienced the trainer is and didn’t offer any apology nor acknowledged our dissatisfaction with the program. We cancelled our program but were only offered a partial refund. So BEWARE, I wouldn’t recommend these dog trainers.

After our initial home assessment, Peter assigned Gaby as our Trainer. We could not have asked (or dreamed) of a better fit for our rambunctious ListenLinda. Our rescued mini AussieDoodle came to us a complete wreck and with Gaby’s gentle, yet no nonsense training our girl is a joy and has come so far!! Their knowledge and her skill set helped our home allow her to overcome her delayed learning to become a more confident and (not sorry to say) spoiled pup. :). I cannot recommend this program enough! All the extra “add-on’s” (socially distanced group training twice a month-1st &3rd Saturday’s) and the annual (if needed) “tune-up”.... your time, your dog’s training and the money to accomplish these goals couldn’t be better spent. You WONT find a better training company in SoFlo. THANK YOU PETER AND CANINE COUNCELORS—- But especially OUR BELOVED MS. GABY—-She is the BEST!!

Initially I was put on hold but a live person actually answered the phone and was very thorough to make sure she got all of our pups info and explained how the assessment and pricing will work.

SCAM! SCAM! If you hire Mike from alligator k-9 as an independent and don’t hire him through a legit company he will not give you a contact and everything he says is a lie. He is disrespectful, unprofessional, and claims he is the one training when he is not. STAY AWAY!

We were assigned William to train our labradoodle puppy. He was outstanding- a true professional. I highly recommend Canine Counselors!

Provided 6 week personal training to my Pomeranian when he was a puppy. He is now 10 years old and an extremely well behaved, obedient dog who has served as my support dog over the past almost decade. Provided very custom and detailed attention and have the ongoing monthly tune ups available to all clients on an ongoing basis, which we utilised when in Miami for 5 + years - highly recommend!

Excellent, 10 years ago I called them to train my actually 11 years old dog and Danielle was her trainer and I had a wonderful experience. Now I called them for another dog and William came and with his expertise and knowledge with only one class I am seeing changes on my dog, of course for the better????????

Happy customer and happy pup. We reached out to canine to help w the discipline of our dog. We had a slight issue w the original trainer but the company immediately and appropriately rectified the issue giving us one of their senior dog trainers, Mike. Over the course of the Fall, Mike showed patience, cariño, and discipline w Luna. We are very happy w the outcome, the service, & the professionalism from both Mike and Canine Counselors. My wife hired this company and all I can say is they’re terrible. The trainer didn’t know how to answer our questions and when she finally did she didn’t make any sense at all. Waste of money. Don’t train your dog with this company. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

This trainer was afraid of my English bull terrier so trained me instead of dog, is super smart dog ???? I had trained him to go knock on door to go to bathroom, not to go on furniture, my son and walked him. $750 ????‍♀️????????????

Absolutely the best. Used them about 15 years ago and now we just got a new puppy and they didn’t disappoint. Got my american bulldog to do what i tried and didn’t succeed in a matter of seconds. Even my wife’s toy Yorkie which i thought was untrainable the trainer actually took the time to help us with her and got her listen. I recommend them without a doubt.

We used Canine Counselors to train our 4 month old French Bulldog. Our trainer, Melli was great. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and had a great personality. This is my second time around with Canine Counselors and Andres Beheit! 15 years ago, Andres trained my Miniature Schnauzer puppy beautifully and we enjoyed many years with Candy as a well-trained, lovable pet. Sadly, she passed away last July. When we were ready for another puppy, I didn't hesitate to call Canine Counselors again and was delighted to be able to work with Andres again! This time, we have BooBoo, a Pomeranian puppy. Again, Andres' behavioral techniques and wonderful demeanor have made training our new member of the family so much easier and pleasant. I always say he must've been a dog in his past life because he understands them so completely! lol! Booboo took to him immediately and absolutely adores him! I can't thank Andres enough for his punctuality, professionalism, patience, and warm personality which has made transforming my rambunctious, stubborn puppy into a well-mannered, well-trained one. BooBoo is a joy to be with and I can proudly take him everywhere, feeling certain that he'll behave like a proper little gentleman! Again, thank you Andres, from the bottom of our hearts!

Absolutely amazing!! Canine Counselors has truly helped my dog through all of her anxious energy and has helped me be a better dog owner. Amanda, our trainer, was so great and patient with my little Maltese, Kiki. She was always on time, always in communication with me, and always incredibly helpful. She showed a great amount of care with Kiki, which my family and I really appreciated. I cannot recommend Canine Counselors enough. If you and your dog are struggling- barking, pulling while walking, or basically anything - Canine Counselors is the way to go!!

My bulldog was as stubborn as can be, well most bulldogs are. These guys are great. I don't know where they get the patience, but they work miracles.

Very professional and my trainer William was amazing with my German Shepherd . Has been training dogs for 35 years . The price was the best around town I'm so glad the worker at Pet Supermarket recommended them to me. I came across Canine Counselors through Pet Supermarket. I gave them a call and Peter came right out one evening at our convenience. He was thorough and full of ideas. Our cocker spaniel, Bailey was only ten weeks old. The program presented was exactly what we needed for our new puppy. That following week, Amanda came out and began training Bailey. It was like magic how much we saw Bailey learning. In three weeks she was potty trained and by the end of the training she knew all her commands and some extra tricks like play dead. Today we reinforce all the commands on a daily basis and Bailey attends the social training sessions on Saturdays at South Miami Senior High. We highly recommend this program for your pet regardless of age. There are programs that will suit your needs and create a loving, happy relationship with you and your fur love!

I would like to take a minute and tell you how much i appreciate working with Canine Counselors, when i contacted Canine Counselors i was at my wits end with my 5 month old Golden Retriever name Max. I can tell you I was very skeptical about hiring a dog training service, as I once before used a dog training services and it was a complete disaster. Since I was so desperate to find some help and regain my sanity, I decided to go ahead with Canine Counselors. Can I just say it was one of the best decisions I have made in regards to my pets.
